I went to a tea and cheesecake shop because I wanted to try blue cheese cheesecake. This time, I bought 4 pieces and received 2 complimentary teas. The blue cheese used was Gorgonzola, and the cheesecake was not very sweet with a unique aroma. Overall, it was a cheesecake with a restrained sweetness, suitable for adults.

A specialty shop in Toyoka, Asahikawa City, known for its cheesecakes and tea, recently relocated and expanded its space. I decided to dine in instead of getting takeout. The cheesecake selection seemed to have increased compared to their old location, but I stuck with the classic New York cheesecake. I paired it with a Te Orange tea. The New York cheesecake was rich and creamy, made with double the amount of cheese and no cream. The Te Orange tea was a refreshing blend of black tea with orange. They also offer a discount if you order a second slice of cake. I couldn't resist trying the Strawberry Tiramisu, which was delicious with its cocoa sponge, tiramisu, strawberry mousse, and fresh strawberries. Overall, a great place to enjoy tasty cheesecakes and tea.

I recently found out about this shop through a notice of its relocation, as I had no prior knowledge of the shop before. Upon entering, I realized that it's more of a place to enjoy cakes while savoring tea, rather than just a cheesecake shop. The display case showcased a variety of cakes such as cheesecake, rare cheesecake, tiramisu, and Basque-style cake. I ordered a cake set, and was particularly drawn to the rare cheesecake made with sake lees from Otokoyama Sake Brewery. I paired it with Nuwara Eliya tea, known for its "rich aroma and strong, crisp astringency." The tea leaves danced inside the tea server, enough for about two cups. The tea master brought it to me at the perfect timing. The sake lees rare cheesecake had a strong sake lees aroma that complemented the cheese well, with a smooth texture. My mouth was filled with the flavor of sake lees, which was balanced by the Nuwara Eliya tea. Despite the description, the flavor was refreshing and didn't overpower the cake. It was difficult to choose just one cake to eat, as there were so many others I wanted to try, along with the soups and other light meals on the blackboard menu. The tea master's attire had an ISHIWATA embroidery, and I was told he used to work at Seibu's Ishiwata Tea shop on 5th Avenue... It seems that this shop is operated by the same people as Ra-Mendokoro Yuho. The mystery deepens, but I won't delve too deep into it (laughs).

It was a review of an old man from Abashiri, right? I was interested in the blue cheese cake and had wanted to visit this shop for a long time. It seems like they moved a bit... from 7th street to 10th street in a straight line? I just found out for the first time this time, but it's operated by the ramen shop "Yuho"! Unfortunately, they didn't have the blue cheese or tiramisu this time... (';∀') Strawberry Tiramisu 378 yen Schwaa! A creamy and tangy mousse with a smooth texture. The thin sponge at the bottom is a bit sweet. The ripe strawberries on top are delicious with their sweetness. I wish they would put a whole strawberry on top instead of a small piece~ The cake itself is also small. New York Cheesecake 486 yen I also wanted to try the classic one and bought this. Had a taste of this one too (*´艸`) But it was different from what I imagined!! A fruity acidity like orange peel comes first, maybe rum? The aroma of liquor comes out through the nose... it's adult-like♡ This just makes me more curious about other cakes~ Now, if you buy 3 cakes, you can get 2 tea bags of your choice as a gift♬

I was curious about a tea and cheesecake shop. Today, I got takeout. There were so many types of cheesecakes that I had a hard time deciding. I ended up buying three different kinds. They were all delicious.

This is a shop where you can enjoy cheesecake and tea, for takeout. I wanted to try different flavors, so I bought several types to take home, and they were all delicious. I like rich and heavy cheesecakes, so the Basque and New York cheesecakes were rich and very good. If I had to say, the rum raisin was just okay. The atmosphere in the shop is nice and calm, giving off a vibe of the owner's dedication to the shop. They may not allow young children, as even though there were empty seats, we couldn't eat in. The shop has the right to choose its customers, and if they clearly explain reasons like children, time, number of people, order stop, or out of stock, customers will understand. This time, a part-time staff member (I think) saw the owner shake their head and just said, "You can't eat in (without explaining the reason for refusal)," which left me feeling a bit uneasy. My father, who was with me, was grumbling, but when he tried the cake made with sake lees from Otoko Yamazaki Shuzo, he said, "It's frustrating but delicious..." and laughed. The taste is definitely there. A group of three women were comfortably enjoying their tea while eating in, so I think it's fine to go with 1 to 4 adults.

There are usually over 10 types of cheesecakes available, including Camembert, Gorgonzola, fig cheesecake, rum raisin cheesecake, and NY cheesecake. They also offer tiramisu and a variety of teas. Each cheesecake is around 400 yen and is quite small in size, about half the size of a regular cake. If you buy 3 cheesecakes, you can get 2 tea bags as a bonus.

I enjoyed the Manzan Sake Brewery Daiginjo Sake Kasu Rare Cheesecake with ice cream, which had a subtle sake aroma. However, I was disappointed with the Earl Grey cake as it seemed to be pre-made and lacked the expected tea flavor and aroma. They should have brewed it properly!
