Hotel where we stayed during our gourmet expedition in Sapporo. It was less than 10,000 yen per person for 2 nights for 2 people. Thanks to the nationwide travel support and Rakuten Travel sale (coupon). It is a bit far to walk from Sapporo Station, but you can almost get there through the underground passage, so you don't have to worry about the weather. You can get there quickly by taking the subway. There is a lounge on the 1st floor of the hotel, available from 4 pm to 11 pm. It seems that anyone staying at the hotel can use it, which made me extremely happy! They have a variety of alcohol such as beer, wine, whiskey, as well as carbonated water and juice, which is a delight for those who enjoy drinking. There are snacks and kinpira gobou (braised burdock root) for nibbles. You need to write down your room number before entering the lounge. It says you can use it for about 30 minutes, but you can also take your drink in a paper cup back to your room, so you don't have to worry too much about the time. The room was small without any wasted space, but we had no problem staying there. There is Nijo Market right next to the hotel, so I recommend having seafood bowls for breakfast there.

Sapporo is a hotel near Nijo Market. The hotel building looks old, but the service is excellent. I booked a twin room for one person this time, and there is a breakfast course available at Nijo Market with seafood bowls, etc. It includes a meal voucher worth 2,000 yen per person (souvenirs can also be purchased) starting from 7,800 yen per night. At check-in, there is a service of soft drinks, soup, and miso soup, and in addition to room amenities, you can also get your favorite bath salts divided into small portions at the front desk. When entering the room, a bottle of "Hokkaido Taisetsu Mountain Yukinomizu" mineral water was placed as a service. This water is the water used for in-flight service by air Do. By the way, the room was not cold, and I could sleep comfortably in December night with just the provided indoor wear and bed without turning on the heating. Members can enjoy a one-hour free-flow alcohol service, and there were quite a variety of drinks. I prefer this lounge to the WBF Forstay ✨ The Forstay had beer, 99.99?, and about three types of liqueurs, but here there were many types of white wine, sparkling wine, sake, beer, and more, so those who like alcohol can enjoy it. However, since it is right next to the entrance, it can be a bit cold in winter, so please use it with warm clothes (lol). There were more types of snacks at the Forstay. Now, about breakfast, I had a regular bento box and tea in front of the front desk and ate in the room. If breakfast returns to normal, I think this hotel offers a satisfying and good value experience ❤

I had a pleasant surprise when I realized that as a member of wbf in Sapporo, I had access to a 1-hour all-you-can-drink lounge. The lounge was empty and I had it all to myself, with a good selection of alcohol including wine, Japanese sake, and sparkling wine. The soft drink options were a bit limited, but having carbonated water was appreciated. I enjoyed a Sapporo Classic beer, followed by three glasses of Cava and a Nikka highball. While most restaurants in Susukino close by 10pm, it was nice that the hotel lounge stayed open until 11pm. The only food available was Kakinotane (spicy rice crackers), but overall it was a great experience.

Suddenly decided to go on a business trip to Sapporo. Hmm, will Sapporo be a regular destination from now on? Flying can be tiring, I prefer the Shinkansen. Stayed at a convenient and reasonably priced hotel near Odori Station. Ate a lot of Genghis Khan last night, so not very hungry. However, the stew was delicious. Despite being affordable, the breakfast was satisfying. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Sapporo on business.

This used to be the Lasso Iceberg Hotel. It seems like the name has changed. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful. I stayed in a Hollywood Twin room. It's only a 2-minute walk to Junkudo, and there's a drugstore and Book Off nearby, so it's very convenient. The bathroom may show its age, but the rest of the room is comfortable with wifi and a humidifying air purifier. The lounge offers wine, juice, apple cider, Perrier, coffee, and tea from 4pm to 9pm. It's a great deal for the price.

I visited the hotel in early November with breakfast included. Despite being a budget hotel, the atmosphere inside was stylish and had a good sense of taste. Although it was not a buffet style, you could have unlimited refills of fried chicken, spring rolls, bread, rice, and miso soup. The food arrived promptly after ordering. The fried chicken and spring rolls tasted similar to products from a certain convenience store. The rice was warm and delicious, but the miso soup was instant (like from a certain restaurant chain) and the salad seemed like it was straight from a wholesale supplier. The fish and other items seemed to be pre-made from the previous day and served cold. I was truly disappointed. The most disappointing part was the lack of cleanliness. It seems that they do not pay much attention to cleaning. Dust was accumulating even on the decorations and under the tables. It's a shame because the staff at the front desk were working hard with a smile. My companion left some food, but I was just glad that I could eat my fill.
