I received it as a souvenir and was told that it was made to order. Even though it had cooled down quite a bit by the time I ate it, it was delicious! There were so many octopus pieces in it that I couldn't even count. Each piece was large, and I got really full! While chain stores are good, I think individual takoyaki shops like this are addictive. I heard they also serve sushi on weekends, so I'd like to visit there next time.

Today on the day of the spring equinox, I was excited watching the WBC since the morning. While snacking on some sweets in front of the TV, I found myself already at lunchtime without much of an appetite. So, for today's lunch, I decided to get some takoyaki for takeout. It took about 15 minutes for them to cook, so I waited in the car snacking, and it was the perfect way to satisfy my hunger.

On a certain weekday, while passing by, I noticed a sign for "takoyaki" at a sushi restaurant that I had previously enjoyed on weekends for its delicious and voluminous sushi. I was curious, so I made a U-turn and visited this dual-purpose store located in Kitaku Shinkawa Nishi 3. The parking lot seemed sufficient with spaces available for parallel and vertical parking. The store, located on the second floor of a house, appeared to have a system where you order at the entrance. From the menu that day, the only option was takoyaki, so I decided to try "one takoyaki (390 yen)." I was informed that it would take about 20 minutes, so I patiently waited in my car. Once I received the takoyaki, I took a bite in the car and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The takoyaki, hot and crispy on the outside, contained 8 large pieces with a creamy center. The batter seemed to have some seasoning, which was a unique touch. The octopus inside was also tasty and generously portioned. The combination of red pickled ginger, sauce, mayonnaise, seaweed, and bonito flakes tied everything together perfectly. Although similar to Gindaco, this takoyaki had a surprising level of quality. I highly recommend trying it if you pass by after 1 pm. Thank you for the delicious meal.
