As of today, the snow has melted for now, but it was a heavy snow day. It snowed for a few hours and piled up quite a bit. Well, it's going to be all white soon. Anyway, it's good that it melted once. It snowed about 10 cm in just a few hours. When it gets cold, how about some yakitori?! I went to a yakitori restaurant that I visit 1-2 times a year. The menu mainly consists of yakitori, with a wide variety of choices. They also offer all-you-can-drink options, so when I came before, we had a party in the back. There are even 8 different types of tsukune (chicken meatballs). The menu includes a variety of rice dishes, with yakitori-don (rice bowl with grilled chicken) being the main dish. I ordered the fried chicken and edamame, which is a good combination. The specialty dish was the simmered tripe in miso base, which was delicious. The yakitori katsu is a must-try, with a slightly crispy texture and a special sauce on top. I also ordered the grilled chicken skin with salt and the plum tsukune, which was surprisingly sour. The cheese tsukune was as expected, and the gizzard had a crunchy texture. The yakitori restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the food was delicious.

This is a yakitori restaurant in Kamii. I wanted to eat crispy fried chicken and have a cold beer, so I went to Toriyoshi, a place that I can easily visit. Besides the fried chicken, what else should I order? I decided on liver, crispy cheese balls, chicken thigh meat, shiitake mushrooms, and cartilage. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, very delicious. A bit spicy, it went well with the beer. The crispy cheese balls were unique, with sauce and breadcrumbs on top. The cartilage was served on a skewer and was also crispy and tasty. I think I'm addicted to this place. The shiitake mushrooms were thick and delicious. My stomach is so full now. I need to go back for more cold beer and crispy fried chicken soon. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant with a friend, not in Sanroku Street for a change. It's their 20th anniversary, and the place has a nostalgic feel to it. They offer a drink all-you-can for one person, starting from 1,580 yen (excluding tax). I had four glasses of draft beer in a row, which cost 400 yen each, so I definitely got my money's worth! The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) were delicious and filling, especially the salt, cheese meatball, and chicken kimchi skewers. The grilled fish menu on the board caught my eye, so I ordered the grilled herring. It seemed a bit overcooked on the surface, but once I tried it, it was quite tasty. I finished off with some hot green tea to sober up. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food and drinks!

This is a 20-year-old yakitori restaurant located in a sacred place. This time, I ordered "pork skewers," "cheese meatballs," and "chicken wing dumplings." The pork skewers were a bit different from the usual ones, as they were wrapped with pork belly, but they were juicy and delicious. As a cheese lover, I couldn't resist the cheese meatballs. And the chicken wing dumplings were also tasty when dipped in sauce. The menu also includes items like "bird skewers" and unique options such as "crispy cheese meatballs" and "plum wasabi." I'd like to try the crispy cheese meatballs next time. The drink menu is extensive, and my friend was happy about it. I usually stick to beer or highballs. Since it's close to my home, I plan to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
