Located in a corner of the former Victoria along Sangyo-doro, this was my first visit to Karaage Age Tarou's shop. I went after 7 pm, so there weren't many options left, but I decided to try their persimmon fruit sandwich, which is not commonly found in other fruit sandwich shops. It cost 670 yen. It was quite refreshing and delicious.

Hakodate is the location, along the industrial road, with a fried food shop and a ramen shop on the left side when heading from Yunokawa. Look for the Hakka-do flag waving. There is a shared parking lot with plenty of space. I bought the Kiwi mix (kiwi and orange) and ripe banana fruit sandwich. The condition of the fruit and bread makes a big difference. The cream inside is cream cheese, slightly firm, with a good balance of sweetness. On a day when the fruit and bread are in good condition, it seems like a nice treat. The price is a bit high, but with plenty of cream and big fruits, it might be worth it.

A specialty shop for fruit sandwiches located inside Agetao the blacksmith's shop. They seem to be doing well in attracting customers by using social media. For my first try, I chose red bean cream and banana chocolate. However, the bread was hard, the taste was not great, and the cream was heavy and overly sweet. It's not really to my liking, so I probably won't visit again. Thank you for the meal.
