Ending a banquet in Susukino, Sapporo. At the request of my companion, we decided to have a night parfait. We searched for a place with a relaxed atmosphere and ended up waiting in line despite the late hour. The restaurant also functions as a sports bar, so there were many young people and a lively atmosphere. I decided to go easy with some yuzu sake as I had already had enough to drink. My companion had almond tofu and mango fruit parfait cappuccino. The prices were reasonable. The dim lighting surprisingly made it quite calming. I tried a bite of the parfait and it was really delicious.

After enjoying two rounds of drinks, we decided to end the night with a parfait. In Hokkaido, parfait is quite popular and there are many parfait shops open even at night. We found a spacious cafe where we could relax as a group, with sofa seats and a wide variety of parfaits to choose from. Despite the generous portions, I always have room for something sweet! We quickly devoured the parfait and it was absolutely delicious.

I often stay until morning and the atmosphere is nice. I usually stop by for a second or third drink, and the food and drinks are good. It's also a good place to wait for the first train for young people. Of course, they have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks as well, so I would like to try going during the daytime next time.

This is an Italian bar, I guess. It has been 3 years since the enforcement of the revised Health Promotion Law, and the store information section of this hot pepper shop advertises "all seats non-smoking", while it is listed as "smoking/non-smoking" on Tabelog. But you know, "smoking/non-smoking" means that smoking and non-smoking areas are completely separated with no passive smoking, right? Well, this restaurant is smoky, smoky. I ordered the "3000YEN-PLAN (3,000 yen including tax)" which includes a 120-minute all-you-can-drink and 6 dishes. The menu includes "fresh fish carpaccio", "three-layer pork belly pate", "mini tomato marinated", "pasta or pizza (tuna and broccoli in tomato sauce or teriyaki chicken and leek pizza)", "three-layer pork loin herb grill", and "today's cake". I chose pasta for the 2-choice pasta or pizza. The drink I ordered was a Highball. It looks like a strange glass, but well, as long as it goes into the stomach... The first three dishes arrived - "fresh fish carpaccio", "three-layer pork belly pate", and "mini tomato marinated". The appearance can be confirmed in the photos, and it's like 9 items if you count each yellow and red mini tomato separately, bread, watercress, radish, chopped green onions, and parsley. The fish is amberjack, and it goes well with the tangy dressing. The taste is decent and enjoyable. The drinks took a while to arrive, and when they did, the Highball turned out to be a weak one. So I ordered an "Ulong High" next. The "tuna and broccoli in tomato sauce pasta" was served next. The pasta was slightly overcooked, but the tomato sauce with garlic was flavorful, and it was quite tasty. The "today's cake" was a Gâteau Chocolat with cream, cookies, and a hint of mint. It seems like this restaurant is good at desserts, as everyone was having parfaits. It was quite a long stay for me, almost 2 hours, which is rare for me. The female staff's service and smiles were really comforting. And well, that's it... Thanks for the meal.

Today's fifth bar is Eight Rice Field Cafe in Susukino. Cheers! I ate a lot and drank a lot, and now I want to eat a parfait at the fifth place. I also ordered a Margherita pizza, but I didn't take a picture of it. The almond mango parfait was delicious and refreshing. As for the ramen as a closing dish, it's just too much.

I had visited this shop a few times before, but I was surprised to find out that they had a night parfait menu! There were many different options to choose from, and my friends and I were excitedly trying to decide which one to get. I ended up ordering the fruit parfait. It was quite large, and when it arrived, we all exclaimed in amazement. The parfait glass was packed full. At the bottom, there was a sponge cake-like sponge and ice cream. It was a bit overwhelming as it got sweeter towards the bottom. The top part, with the fruits, was refreshing and we were able to enjoy eating it more and more. I think it cost around 1600 yen. In terms of portion size, it was decent. If it weren't for the current COVID situation, it would have been nice to share and enjoy it together.

Year-end party! Sapporo's Susukino is bustling as always at the end of the year. We should have made a reservation for the second party. After being turned away from three fully booked places, we finally ended up at this café. It was my first time inside, and it's quite spacious! There were four of us, and we used a coupon to get the all-you-can-drink option for 1280 yen instead of 1500 yen. They didn't have beer or sparkling wine, but it was good enough for a second party. We had to order one item per person, so we started with pizza and a cheese platter. There were five types of cheese, and they were delicious! The blue cheese was particularly strong and tasty. We also ordered a dessert that was like a parfait, with chocolate and strawberries. It wasn't a parfait, more like a collaboration between French toast and ice cream. It was a bit too much for my taste. We came for a dessert to finish off the meal, but we couldn't finish it all and ended up leaving some. Sorry about that... It was so nice catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a while, the conversation just flowed endlessly. But before we knew it, the two-hour time limit was approaching. I stopped by Eight Cafe after a long time and had a chat. I used to go there quite often before! The place is filled with younger women. Two middle-aged men were chatting about work while glancing at the menu. I got the impression that they don't offer all-you-can-drink deals often. The atmosphere is like a family restaurant in Susukino Village, and it felt cozy to visit once in a while.

Used for the third party of a wedding reception. The restaurant is spacious and crowded, so it's a bit of a challenge to call the staff. Ordered a Grasshopper, which I wouldn't bother making at home. Short cocktails are served from the shaker right in front of you. Also ordered a Balalaika and XYZ. The taste seems to be a bit inferior to more authentic places. The parfait is apparently famous, so I'd like to try the parfait as a dessert next time I come.

After eating seafood and walking around, I found myself a bit hungry again. I happened to come across a parfait menu outside a shop and decided to stop. The place was almost full of customers, and I thought I might not be able to get a seat without a reservation. However, I managed to secure a seat. I ordered the Chocola Parfait Chino with Belgian chocolate and brownie (1300 yen). Essentially, it's a chocolate parfait. The menu mentioned the use of rich premium soft serve ice cream, which got me excited. The parfait arrived in about 10 minutes. It had no whipped cream, only ice cream. The soft serve was rich and the chocolate was sweet, making the whole thing quite indulgent. The bottom was filled with chocolate cake, which paired well with the ice cream. For those who love sweet treats, this parfait is sure to satisfy. I tried the chocolate parfait this time, but I'm curious about the other parfait chinos as well. If I have the chance, I'd like to try them all. The rich chocolate parfait at night was a treat - thank you!

This is a shop I often use for meeting up or passing the time. The atmosphere inside the shop is great, the staff's service is excellent, and the cost performance is good too. The garlic shrimp and pizza are delicious, and the pasta is also tasty, so I recommend it! However, there were some other customers who were chatting loudly, maybe around college age, which might make some people feel a little uncomfortable. The staff were aware of this and handled it well. I would like to use this shop again in the future.

We entered the restaurant after seeing the sign for "closing parfait." There were four of us on a weekday around 25:00, and we were seated right away as it was quite empty. The seats were comfortable sofa seats, and the atmosphere was relaxed with a younger crowd. We ordered a hojicha ice cream and shiratama parfait (1500 yen), which turned out to be larger than expected. The price was worth it for the generous portion. The parfait had chestnuts and mochi, which paired well with the hojicha flavor. There were many other options on the menu that caught our eye, so we'd like to try something different next time. It's convenient that they are open until morning.

The main street of Susukino is also at the center. Since it's a street-level shop, it's easy to notice. I ended up having a parfait, it makes you want to eat it, right? I only used the parfait. The customers were not bad, it kind of reminded me of the old Sun Rose that used to be in Susukino. The tables are not as close together as there, so you don't have to worry about things like cigarettes. I was happy to see that there were about 8 types of parfaits. It seems like both fruit lovers and those who don't like fruit can enjoy it. It was a pleasant surprise that there was more volume than I expected from looking at the photos. I like the trendy parfaits these days, but I also like the nostalgic feeling of this parfait. The whipped cream and sponge were good.

There were two guys and a cat (two guys) in girls' party mode. Tomco and Toshiko ordered the meat course and some à la carte dishes. I was intrigued by the shrimp mousse dish that wasn't included in the course, so I added it. It looks like hanpen, but when you put it in your mouth, it melts smoothly with a rich shrimp flavor. The wrinkles on my forehead deepened...The three appetizers were "Italian prosciutto" with a strong Parma salt flavor, suitable for alcohol, "Chicken and chickpea tomato stew" with a unique chickpea flavor, and "Japanese-style beef tendon stew" with a rich Japanese flavor. The beef tendon was soft but had a chewy texture with a lot of lean meat. The roast beef salad is a girly dish, right? The one piece was large, moist, and had just the right amount of flavor. I need to get my vegetable intake. I would be happier if there was more. The Quattro Porco pizza is a playful dish with French fries on the crust. The spicy eggplant and garlic pasta was a small portion for one person. The spiciness was light, and it had a meat sauce with eggplant flavor. Despite saying, "Let's twirl the pasta ♪," I ate it with chopsticks. The dessert was sherbet, which was quickly finished. Actually, the "Monthly Course" had more meat and course items than the "Meat Course." Anyway, I think this place is more about the atmosphere and the time spent there than the quantity.
