Today is my wife's birthday, so we stayed at a hotel to celebrate. The hotel is famous for its breakfast, so we usually book with two meals included. However, this time we only booked breakfast and were pleasantly surprised that we could also have dinner. The dinner was Japanese cuisine, with the highlight being the all-you-can-eat sushi. The sushi was made to order and the quality was exceptional. For breakfast, we enjoyed a seafood bowl with plenty of ikura and fresh tuna, it was a fantastic way to start the day.

I stayed at the newly opened La Vista Hakodate Bay ANNEX in February this year. In the lobby, there are welcome drinks and snacks available. The matcha latte is delicious! This time, I stayed with a dinner and breakfast plan. The dinner was a Japanese course meal with Hokkaido beef shabu-shabu and a sushi buffet. You can order up to 5 rolls of sushi at a time, and all types of sushi, like sea urchin, medium fatty tuna, scallops, and snow crab, were fresh and delicious. The shabu-shabu went well with the sesame sauce and the Hokkaido beef was amazing. You can also enjoy late-night ramen with a choice of salt or soy sauce flavor. It was authentic and tasty! For breakfast, they continue the tradition of La Vista Hakodate with unlimited salmon roe, medium fatty tuna sashimi, and more. You can even enjoy sparkling wine or sake in the morning, and they offer black oolong tea and authentic tomato juice. The Hakodate pudding for dessert was exceptional.
