I visited a favorite izakaya in Obihiro for the first time after being recommended by a friend. When I arrived at the restaurant, it looked a bit fancy, but I was relieved to find out that it was actually quite affordable. The all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes was only 2500 yen, which was a great deal. I thought the snacks would be cheap, but they also served delicious dishes like chicken daikon, octopus head, and strawberry green tea highball. I ordered a highball expecting it to be cheap shochu, but it turned out to be Grand Blue. The mama-san was the only staff, so we had to pour our own drinks, but she came over occasionally to chat and even brought us more drinks without us realizing that our time was up. In the end, we stayed for over 2 hours and the bill was only around 3000 yen per person. It was so cheap! Even though I was quite full, my friends decided to go for ramen afterwards.
