Visited in the evening on a holiday. Despite being a popular spot, the restaurant was surprisingly not crowded. It made me realize the amazing customer attraction of Starbucks, where it is always full and even the drive-thru has a line. It's actually a good thing that the cafe isn't crowded, regardless of the reasons like COVID-19. I was debating if it was too early for dinner or if I would get hungry later, but ended up ordering the following: Sakura Premium Set for 1,780 yen. There was a notice about the possibility of egg-based dishes not being available due to avian influenza, so the menu choices were limited. I usually go for doria when I visit cafes, so it was not a problem for me. I ordered the following combination: Main - Doria, Side - Pancake, Drink - Blended Coffee. First, a salad and soup were served. The salad had leafy greens with French dressing, and the soup was a slightly thick corn soup. Both were sufficient as part of the set menu. Soon after, the Chicken Doria arrived. It was a large oval gratin dish with a sheet underneath to prevent sliding, served with the salad. The doria had very little white sauce, more like a cheesy baked chicken rice dish. The rice was a flavorful ketchup rice, and it seemed to have some healthy elements with the use of barley rice. The chicken slices were thin, and although the portion was not large, it was acceptable for a cafe dish. However, considering the price of 1,180 yen for the doria alone, the lack of sauce made it somewhat disappointing. In terms of service, I had to call a staff member to get water after finishing my drink when the doria was served. The doria should be served piping hot. I like to eat it almost burning my mouth while occasionally drinking cold water. After finishing the doria, the coffee and pancakes were served promptly. The pace of service was good, and despite the sparse customers, the timing of the dishes was well-coordinated. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory, and the quality of the food was decent for the price.

I came back again! This time it's Sakai Coffee Obihiro Minami store. I ordered their first-time 0 yen service morning set, "Blend coffee for 480 yen + free small red bean toast." The people from Owari Province really came up with a wonderful system. To give toast for free is amazing! Thank you. The crispy and fluffy toast with sweet red bean paste is irresistible! The coffee is delicious too! I want to come here every morning in my old age! Thank you for the meal this morning!

This is Sakai Coffee's Obihiro Minami branch. I love the Obihiro branch too, but I prefer the spacious interior of the Minami branch. I ordered the "French pancake set for 540 yen + blend coffee for 480 yen." The service was as speedy as ever. First, the pancakes! Drizzled with honey and so delicious! They were so fluffy and sweet, yum! The fluffy omelette was also amazing! The sausage and salad were tasty too! Of course, the coffee was great! My morning is set with Sakai Coffee. I feel energized already. Thank you for the meal!

This is Sakai Coffee. When it comes to morning, this is the place to be! It's more spacious than the Obihiro branch, and you can relax comfortably. I ordered the "Special Morning Chicken and Tomato Sauce Hot Sandwich 480 yen + Blend Coffee 480 yen = 960 yen." First, the coffee arrives, and then the hot sandwich comes soon after. The quick service is really helpful for busy people. The hot sandwich is delicious with a good portion size, and it comes with salad and boiled egg, so the satisfaction level is high! The coffee is as delicious and easy to drink as always! Honestly, having breakfast here every day is okay with me. A coffee shop that makes you want to come back! Thank you for the meal!

The White Angel and blended coffee pancake topped with plenty of whipped cream and white chocolate is like happiness made tangible. The pancakes at Sakai Coffee are truly delicious, and they go perfectly with coffee!

I visited Sakai Coffee Obihiro Minami store! The new store building is quite impressive. The inside of the store was bustling with people enjoying their meals and sweets. I arrived for a slightly late lunch and ordered the Teppan Napolitan for 1,080 yen. It was ready in about 13 minutes and served in a frying pan style. The thin omelette underneath was a nice touch. The dish itself was quite filling, but I wished it came with soup and salad. The noodles were thick and had a great chewy texture. The familiar ketchup flavor was comforting, and the ingredients were tasty. The omelette at the bottom was cooked perfectly. This is the second store in Obihiro for Sakai Coffee, and it was still quite busy. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable in the new building, but I still have a soft spot for the retro feel of the first store. Sakai Coffee only has three stores in Hokkaido, so it might be worth trying out both stores in Obihiro. Thank you for the meal!

This is the second store following the Obihiro store that was opened in place of Mr. Miyamoto Shosan. Since it has just opened, the store is very clean and the parking lot is spacious and comfortable. However, I felt that the store was somewhat bland, perhaps because it is spacious and empty. The Obihiro store, on the other hand, is housed in a historic building, which gives it a unique charm despite the layout not being very user-friendly with stairs, etc. The parking lot may be a bit further away, but if both stores offer the same menu and are at almost the same distance from home, I would naturally be inclined to visit the Obihiro store, as it opens an hour earlier.

Located on the east side of Obihiro AEON, along Nishinami Odori. The parking lot should be fine on weekdays. It might get crowded on weekends and holidays. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, with a creamy and rich sauce, although the nut sauce was a bit too sweet towards the end. They mentioned that the pancakes take 20-30 minutes to cook after ordering. The building is very clean as it just opened on June 2, 2022. The background music is jazz, creating a calm atmosphere. To avoid crowds, it's recommended to choose the day and time of your visit carefully. There are table seats and single seats available (counter seats have outlets). Personally, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any caffeine-free drinks. - Macadamia nut sauce pancakes 980 yen - Cafe au lait 520 yen * From June 20, 2022, it seems like the food menu will be expanded.

The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. However, there are limited parking spaces. The pancakes were delicious though! (*´ч`*)
