I visited Sushi Hidetora with two friends after making a reservation over the phone a month ago. The volume and cost performance were beyond expectations, and my friend was surprised! We had the omakase course for 12,000 yen, which included about 12 appetizers and over 20 sushi rolls. The sushi was so abundant that we couldn't finish them all (tears). Mr. Oishi said that the cost of the meal is 90% of the original cost, so we also ordered drinks! We enjoyed highballs, wine, and sake, spending about 20,000 yen per person and were very satisfied. Thank you for the feast. We will visit again! We started with appetizers such as simmered octopus, clam, oyster, Hiroshima shrimp, eel, edamame, tuna, ginger, conger eel soup, medium fatty tuna, salted pot-baked golden eye snapper, bearded gurnard, horse mackerel, Japanese butterfish, Nagasaki specialty "Hatshi" (fried shrimp paste sandwiched between bread), Japanese flying squid with yuzu pepper, Isagi sardine, Nagasaki kiss shellfish, abalone, mascarpone sea urchin, shrimp, flounder, trout, cobia, conger eel, egg, dried gourd roll. I made a reservation after watching a TV special. I had high expectations due to the good cost performance and delicious reviews from everyone. I was looking forward to it for a while. I thought it was a counter seat, but it turned out to be a private room. The omakase course started at 6:00 PM. This month's course costs 17,000 yen per person. The meal included 9 appetizers (all of them tasted salty, perfect for drinking?). There was a sukiyaki and mushroom chawanmushi, sashimi of sea bream, fruit tomato, seared wagyu sushi, 3 pieces of tuna, 3 pieces of white fish, shrimp, panco hada (canceled), eel (canceled), dried gourd roll (canceled), and tamagoyaki (canceled). I'm sorry, but there was too much of a gap between dishes, so I ended up canceling some towards the end as I was already full from the alcohol. The sushi rice and toppings were delicious. However, I can't remember any standout toppings. My companion said the eel was delicious. The shiitake mushroom in the chawanmushi was raw. The initially unfriendly female staff and the head chef became more cheerful by the time we left, which was reassuring. We had 2 beers (@800), 1 green tea highball (@800), 1 oolong highball (@800), and 1 full bottle of red wine (@15,000), totaling 56,000 yen for two people. This month's course did not include sea urchin, salmon roe, spiny lobster, crab, etc. It might have been a different experience if we had sat at the counter. If I become friends with the head chef, it might be enjoyable to become a regular customer.

Hello, everyone! I am the gourmet guru, Kogao no Gurume☆, your humble servant in the world of food. Recently, I had a bit of a scare when my review of the Ginza restaurant "L'Argent (before relocation)" mysteriously disappeared. It was quite a shock, and my heart skipped a beat! Anyway, let's talk about the new restaurant that opened in Hanzomon in March 2022, called "Hidetora". Hanzomon is known for its quiet and safe atmosphere, with a mix of commercial buildings and residential apartments. The area is popular among those working in Akasaka, Roppongi, and Shibuya. Hidetora is praised for its affordability, generous portions, and overall value for money. The highlight of the restaurant is its skilled sushi craftsmanship, using a variety of fresh ingredients and incorporating non-traditional sushi items. The chef's technique in preparing the sushi is exceptional, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. Despite the reasonable prices, the quality of the sushi is top-notch, making it a favorite among discerning food lovers. So, if you appreciate fine sushi craftsmanship and a great dining experience, Hidetora is definitely worth a visit!

The other day, I went to Sushi Hide Torasan, which was introduced on Ad-machi. I go there about every 2-3 months. Even so, they always serve different dishes, so I never get tired of it. And the amount is amazing. I made a reservation about a month ago from Instagram. When I arrived at the reserved time, the "full" sign was already posted. Truly a popular restaurant. This time, I had a drink of Phoenix Beauty Field sake in a glass, and 4 cups of oolong tea. For appetizers, I had 17 different dishes including marinated mackerel, conger eel, simmered octopus, konjac, button shrimp, edamame, shako shrimp, herring roe with seaweed, princess sazae, golden herring roe, chilled bonito with tomato, wakame seaweed, crab shinjo, grilled squid legs, grilled scallops, squid fin, miso soup with clams. For nigiri sushi, I had 24 pieces including canned crab stick and tuna, fatty tuna, marlin, bonito, fatty tuna, flying fish, rainbow trout, golden eye snapper, flounder, premium sea urchin, white trout, grouper, striped jack, black porgy, 2 canned gizzard shad, salmon roe, ark shell, hairy crab, eel, dried gourd roll, and tamagoyaki. They asked if I wanted to try sea urchin for an additional charge. It's a bit pricey, but it's the highest quality sea urchin with a delicious sweetness piled on generously. Among the appetizers, the crab shinjo, marinated mackerel, and bonito were particularly delicious, while for nigiri sushi, the tuna was of course excellent, as well as the ark shell, striped jack, grouper, and flounder. The master has a strong attachment to sake, and he explained how he wants you to enjoy sake while rolling it on your tongue slowly and pairing it with the dishes. He also shared tips on what to be careful of in a sushi restaurant. I was satisfied and full once again today. Thank you for the feast.

This sushi restaurant in the heart of the city offers amazing value for the quality of food served. The chef's service is outstanding, and he is friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable about the fish. The 3-hour meal started at 6:00 pm and included 9 appetizers, all delicious. The highlights were the junsaai from Akita, the creamy ankimo, and the unique katsuobushi with rice porridge. The sushi selection was diverse and included specialties like iwashi, maguro from Sakaiminato, and hatahata from Kochi. The chef's hometown influences were evident in dishes like the Nagasaki-style ebi tempura sandwich. The meal ended with a refreshing dessert and a unique kakigori. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, and the overall cost was very reasonable for the experience. Highly recommended for those with a hearty appetite and a love for sushi. Thank you, Chef, for a wonderful meal!

The appetizers of the day were seared daikon with grated radish close to the skin and refreshing. The pre-prepared raw oysters and summer staple edamame were easy to eat. The scallop broiled in seaweed was best enjoyed while savoring each bite. The sushi included 22 pieces, with trout, kohada, and sea urchin being particularly delicious. I always have a great time and end up eating too much, so I look forward to my next visit.

I went to this restaurant at the invitation of a friend. They kept telling me to come hungry, so I got into a taxi with an empty stomach. The small restaurant was already full with reservations. The food from the appetizers was amazing. Sushi just kept coming. When my friend got full and stopped eating, the extra food ended up coming to me! I ended up eating non-stop. The owner even said it had been a while since he saw a girl eat so much. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat delicious sushi until they are full.

The food is delicious, but I think the restaurant could be even better with a little more creativity. The atmosphere is nice. For example, changing the order in which the sushi is served could make it more enjoyable. Having too many white fish in a row can get a bit monotonous, so mixing it up with ingredients like green onions or squid could reset the flavors and make it more exciting! Also, since they have unique sake options, simply changing the beer or highball glasses to thinner ones could enhance the overall experience. The prices are reasonable for Tokyo, but I wonder if they serve aged fish. I'm not a fan of aged fish, as I prefer fresher, crunchier textures. Perhaps this is why the restaurant didn't quite meet my preferences.

Lunch is 5,000 yen, dinner is 12,000 yen, which is a great deal in Tokyo! ・Lunch: 1 appetizer, 15 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup ・Dinner: around 10 appetizers, 15 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup I didn't have a chance to go to Hanazomon for lunch, but during a special event on May 1st and 2nd, they offered a course with 20 appetizers and sushi for 6,000 yen. There were about 24 dishes served one after another, and I was very satisfied with the quality! Each piece of sushi was thick and delicious! The final eel sushi was especially beautiful! The shrimp bread and cherry tomatoes served as palate cleansers were also delicious! The clientele seemed to be mostly middle-aged and older, creating a calm atmosphere.

I went to a special Golden Week 6000 yen lunch course where we had to wait for 4 hours on the first day. The cost performance was incredible, considering the quality of the food and ingredients. The chef seemed to enjoy serving alcohol to make a profit. The menu was a bit hard to remember, but here's what we had: medium fatty tuna, red meat tuna, marinated tuna, red snapper, sweet shrimp, Japanese flying squid, striped horse mackerel, boiled conch, seared mackerel, seared conger eel, flathead fish, Japanese sea bass, shrimp head, live sea urchin, egg omelette, simmered conger eel, dried gourd roll, pickled cucumber, and miso soup. The chef's passion for sushi was evident, and I would definitely make a reservation to visit again. This restaurant is worth a visit, and I don't think I can go to any other sushi restaurants in Tokyo! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was lured back by the volume and started with edamame. Medium fatty tuna - good, lean tuna - good, striped jack, Spanish mackerel, seared Spanish mackerel - good, kelp-cured alfonsino, flathead fish, cherry salmon, gurnard, red sea bream, flounder - good, sardine, horse mackerel, squid - good, barracuda, seared Japanese barracuda, prawn - good, scallop - good, simmered conger eel - good, egg omelette, dried gourd roll, miso soup. I'm full now. Tuna, horse mackerel, squid, prawn, simmered conger eel, scallop are delicious. However, it was a bit difficult to distinguish between the different types of white fish. I wonder how long they can keep up this quality at this price.

On the weekend, I went to a restaurant called "Sushi Hide Tora" in Hanzomon, Tokyo with some friends. We started with a lemon sour for a toast and then enjoyed a variety of dishes including octopus, turban shell, button shrimp marinated in champagne, abalone, cucumber and bracken miso, super fruit tomato, firefly squid marinated in seaweed, oysters, and salmon roe. We also had highballs and indulged in dishes like low-temperature cooked foie gras, purple sea urchin, and a large cherry blossom sea bream that was filleted and seared in front of us. We also enjoyed dishes like karasumi (bottarga), medium fatty tuna, swordfish from Wakayama, and blowfish milt with karasumi on top. With each dish, we paired it with delicious sake like Oze no Yukidoke, Tateyama no Kizuna, Hidakami, Kinmiya, and Nishiki Go. After enjoying shrimp toast, golden eye snapper, firefly squid, and cherry salmon, we were so full that we had to give up halfway through. The combination of tasty dishes and sake made for a wonderful dining experience.

I discovered while watching a video online that there is an amazing high-value sushi lunch in Tokyo. I had the opportunity to go to Tokyo and made a reservation. It is located less than a 5-minute walk from Hanzomon Station. The chef is a bit intimidating, with a physique similar to Michiya Mihashi. There are two employees outside. Let's start the lunch. The lunch costs 5000 yen! It's cheap, isn't it! Now, let's see what's included! △ First, cheers with a Heartland beer. ◯ Noto's new? Mozuku, it's in season! It has a mild acidity and tastes delicious. It's refreshing. Seems good for health. ◯ Akami, another piece of akami! ◯ Chutoro? Three consecutive pieces of tuna! It has more fat than the previous one. It has a bit of a sinewy texture. It's between chutoro and akami. ◯ Kinmedai, not seared, not matured. This is the original taste. But it's delicious. ◯ Rooted horse mackerel, originally a migratory fish, but this one lives in the bay due to good food. It comes out at an amazing pace! ◯ Houbou, has a good texture. ◯ Kawashima's first bonito, I couldn't catch it clearly... The chef speaks a bit softly and quickly, so it's hard to understand. It's marinated. Goes well with sesame. ◯ Carabinero shrimp, perfectly boiled. ◯ Sakura shrimp, please use your left hand. It has a nice aroma. ◯ Scallop, because it was stacked in two layers, one fell off... It's a sweet scallop. The chef's sushi shaping is a bit awkward. He had to correct the shape several times, the topping fell off, and the sushi fell apart. Well, it's tough to make a lot of sushi in a short time. ◯ Spanish mackerel, it's soft. This Spanish mackerel has a unique aroma. ◯ Ishidai, it has a good texture and is slightly sticky. ◯ Meji maguro, it's like Yokowa in Kansai... ◯ Another piece of the same. ◯ Swordfish, seems like it's marinated in kombu. The umami comes out. ◯ Cherry salmon, has a bit of fat on it. ◯ Kasugodai, it has skin and a crispy, delicious flavor. ◯ Meji maguro, didn't we have this earlier? It has a chewy texture. Delicious. ◯ Amadai from the Genkai Sea, a bit sinewy. Scent of sansho pepper. ◯ Sayori, the person next to me got shrimp. Sayori is better than shrimp. △ I received tea. ◯ Flounder, the umami is strong. Maybe marinated in kombu. ◯ Isaki, it's seared. Fragrant. I'll have it with salt. This is good. ◯ Gizzard shad, strong scent of kombu. No small bones. ◯ Simmered conger eel, please use your left hand. It's soft! ◯ Squid, a chewy squid, maybe Mongou? ◯ Tamago, sweet! This is Edo-style. Fluffy~ ◯ Red miso soup with Nameko mushrooms. ◯ Dried gourd roll, I don't eat dried gourd rolls often. We don't eat them much in Kansai. Delicious with sweet dried gourd. ◯ Another dried gourd roll came. The vinegar rice wasn't too sour. The toppings were cut. Well, that's understandable with this volume. There are no high-end toppings, but there are plenty of them. It's technically Edo-style sushi, but it doesn't feel like they put in a lot of effort for lunch. But as someone said, "It's not like a slightly improved conveyor belt sushi". There are chain counter sushi places in Tokyo, right? I've been to a few and they weren't delicious. Compared to that, the preparation and cutting are done properly here. Of course, sushi from expensive restaurants is better, but this is good enough for the price. The atmosphere is nice too. Although it's lunch, it lasted a little over 2 hours. A tremendous amount of sushi came out as rumored. This is the first time I've had such a huge lunch! It was an incredible high-value counter Edo-style sushi lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I heard about a sushi restaurant where you can enjoy a lunch course for around 5,000 yen, located just a few minutes' walk from Hanzomon Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and Kojimachi Station on the Yurakucho Line in the heart of the city. I made a reservation for one person at 12:00 on a weekday and visited the restaurant. The course started all at once, and it seemed that many of the people around me were regular customers who had made reservations multiple times. I think that perhaps the lunch service is a way for people to get to know the restaurant's taste and then come back for the dinner course. The quality of the course was indeed impressive, with 15 pieces of nigiri sushi, one roll, and four other dishes along with a soup. This cost-performance ratio is almost impossible to find in the city center. The taste of the sushi was well-crafted, and I didn't feel any shortcuts were taken. In fact, some customers were satisfied with the meal and made a reservation for the dinner course on the spot. I haven't been to this area much recently, so I couldn't make a reservation for the evening, but I think it's a restaurant that offers plenty of value for the price, and the prices for the evening course are not that high either.

I wanted to eat a lot of sushi, so I went to Sushi Hidetora. I saw on their Instagram at the end of March that there was an opening for a reservation on a Friday night two weeks later, so I immediately booked it. It started at 6 pm with 9 appetizers: simmered octopus, edamame, salted fish guts, peony shrimp, seaweed, oysters, seaweed salad, cucumber with moro, and foie gras. I ordered a glass of Japanese sake and enjoyed it slowly. The sake, Senkin from Tochigi prefecture, was slightly sweet and very easy to drink. The foie gras and salted fish guts paired perfectly with the sake, enhancing its deliciousness. Next came shrimp, sardines, mackerel, sea grapes, and salted cucumber. This was followed by scallop sashimi, Matsusaka beef and bamboo shoot soup, flounder and salmon roe, and clam miso soup, ending the appetizers. The homemade salmon roe was particularly delicious, especially when paired with the fatty flounder sashimi. Now onto the nigiri sushi: fatty tuna belly, lean tuna, cherry salmon, swordfish, sardine, shrimp with bread, golden eye snapper, herring, bigfin reef squid, parrotfish, horse mackerel, red clam, black porgy, cutlassfish, grunt, thread-sail filefish, rockfish, shrimp, beltfish, conger eel, tamago, rolled omelette, and finally matcha to finish. Among the nigiri, the red clam was especially delicious with its thick and juicy texture. Thank you for the feast.

Visited for a weekday lunch. The restaurant has a spacious counter and private rooms. It was a busy day in the middle of the week, but the place was packed. I had heard that the cost performance was great, so I was looking forward to it. It was a chilly day with continuous rain, and we started with a warm fish broth. I was surprised to see two servings of medium fatty tuna right at the beginning! It was the first time I had the same type of sushi twice in a course, but I was happy about it. The course consisted of a total of 19 pieces, rolls, and a tamago, living up to its reputation for being generous. All of this for 5000 yen is truly amazing value. The sushi lacked a bit of delicacy, but it was consistently delicious, with good portion sizes, a nice atmosphere, and a friendly head chef. It took me almost 2 hours until I left, so those planning for a quick solo lunch should be aware. There seemed to be many regular customers, with quite a few people drinking from lunchtime. I couldn't drink as I had work afterwards, but visiting when you can enjoy alcohol might make the experience even more enjoyable. - Course contents: - Fish broth with daikon - Medium fatty tuna (2 pieces) - Marinated tuna (2 pieces) - Fatty tuna - Swordfish - Grouper - Mackerel - Red sea bream - Cherry salmon - Sayori fish - Sea bream - Horse mackerel - Flounder - Scallop - Thread-sail filefish - Spot prawn - Tamago (fluffy and sweet) - Conger eel with sauce - Rolled sushi with kanpyo (gourd strips) - Nameko mushroom soup

Good morning. The city is slowly returning to normal, which is a relief. I am a daughter-in-law of a Chinese family. Due to the popularity during the pandemic, it was lucky to secure a reservation at a sushi restaurant. Finally, I was able to visit a sushi restaurant that required adjusting my schedule. It is located near Hanzomon Station. The drink menu is here, and the omakase course starts at 5000 yen including tax. Reservations are recommended for the counter seats. The chef is very friendly, and the sushi time begins. Starting with cucumber, it was a blissful moment. The sushi starts with medium fatty tuna and keeps coming endlessly. The sushi photos are for your enjoyment. Not just medium fatty tuna, but shrimp and various other types of fish are served. The egg sushi also makes an appearance. The meal ends with a roll. How was it? Even without all-you-can-eat, I was completely satisfied. I would like to make a reservation in advance and adjust my schedule to visit again. If you want to enjoy delicious sushi at a reasonable price, make a reservation and plan accordingly. I look forward to visiting again. Also, checking the stock price as usual. #Sushiro We also visit Sushiro with my family ☺️

Visited during the day on a weekday. Made a reservation a few weeks in advance. [Points] The weekday sushi lunch course provided more items than the reservation stated, making it a good value. The quality is like high-end conveyor belt sushi, so I recommend the lunch over dinner. Suitable for those who prioritize cost-effectiveness over taste and atmosphere. [About the restaurant] A sushi restaurant opened in March 2022, emphasizing good value for both lunch and dinner. They aim to offer delicious sushi to young people as well. It is conveniently located near the train station. [Interior of the restaurant] There are a few seats at the counter and two private rooms. We were directed to a private room as we couldn't choose our seat preference when making the reservation. It felt spacious for two people with a window that made it bright and pleasant. It might feel a bit cramped for four people. There were the head chef and two staff members, making a team of three. The head chef seemed a bit unapproachable. The staff members didn't notice when the tea ran out and made mistakes in fish names, so the service was lacking. [Food content] I had reserved the 5,000 yen weekday lunch course, which consisted of nigiri sushi only. I only had tea as a drink on that day. The pickled ginger was self-service. The content of the course was as follows: ○ Gurnard ○ Mackerel ○ Flounder ○ Lean tuna from Kochi ○ Lean tuna from India ○ Medium fatty tuna from India ○ Squid ○ Flatfish ○ Prawn ○ Marinated mackerel ○ Rockfish ○ Golden eye snapper ○ Horse mackerel ○ Cherry salmon ○ Scallop ○ Thread-sail filefish ○ Rolled omelette ○ Conger eel ○ Soup ○ Kohada (served out of order) ○ Gourd roll [Food impression] I didn't have high expectations based on Google reviews and prices, but it was tastier than I imagined. I received slightly more items than what was listed in the reservation. There was a good variety of fish, including blue fish, shellfish, and three types of tuna, which was nice. In terms of quality, it felt like high-end conveyor belt sushi. There were few moments where I could feel the craftsmanship of a sushi restaurant, but some items like tuna and white fish had good quality. I detected a slight fishy smell in the blue fish. The sushi rice had a red vinegar color but lacked a distinct flavor, yet it had a well-balanced taste overall. The sushi was not too firm, and the pieces were slightly larger, satisfying the appetite. If this amount of sushi was from a high-end conveyor belt sushi restaurant, it would cost more than 5,000 yen including tax, so I consider it a good value. I believe the dinner menu offers similar sushi, but with appetizers included, the course would cost over 10,000 yen. Therefore, I think the weekday lunch is better. It is suitable for those who want to eat sushi prioritizing cost-effectiveness over quality and restaurant atmosphere.

First visit to "Sushi Hidetora". The volume-packed course exceeded all expectations. Definitely the day I got the most full from sushi in my life. Laughter A total of 22 pieces of sushi, 14 appetizers including tamago, miso soup, and snacks, as well as matcha and dessert. For those who gave up, they also provided 4 extra pieces like chu-toro and scallops. Uni wasn't included in the course, so I added it. The shari was also on the larger side, but the soft vinegar and gentle shari that melts in your mouth. Not delicate Edo-style sushi, but more like The sushi! or rather, hearty sushi that fully allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of the fish! The tuna quartet, horse mackerel, shrimp, conger eel, and sea urchin were particularly delicious (*´꒳`*) I'm from Nagasaki, so it felt somewhat similar to my favorite local sushi restaurant and was enjoyable. And by chance, a Nagasaki dish called "hatoshi" was served too! I wonder if there's a connection to Nagasaki, I'd like to ask the master next time. The appetizers were like elaborate small dishes that you might find at a traditional Japanese restaurant. Both the sushi and the appetizers were very delicious, and I wanted to finish everything until the end, but I was too full, so I had to take the chocolates home. I regret eating Jiro-style ramen earlier that day... Unless you're a food fighter, I highly recommend eating lightly for lunch before going here! Laughter I had a chat with the master after finishing the sushi, and he was a good-natured and funny person, so I had a good time. A breathtaking course that lasted over 4 hours! It's about twice as long as the usual sushi course I go to, so I recommend it to those who want to get full on delicious sushi! I would like to revisit with an empty stomach next time. #Sushi #Sushi #Hanzomon #Chiyoda-ku Gourmet #Tokyo Gourmet #Sushi Hidetora #Breathtaking #Delicious #Uni #Instagrammable Spot #Date Spot #Gourmet Girls #Foodie #Tabelog #Connect with Gourmet Lovers #Sake #Connect with Sushi Lovers #Delicious #Foodie #Food Walk #Gourmet Instagram #Tokyo Tourism #tokyo #sushi #tokyosushi #tokyogourmet #genic_food #instafood #gourmet #dinner #sushilovers

Located just a 3-minute walk from Hanzomon Station, this restaurant received a rating of 3.47 at the time of the visit. They offer a truly cost-effective "20 pieces for 5000 yen" lunch course! The weekday lunch course (5000 yen including tax) includes: Kyujo Negi no Nuta, Chutoro, Honmaguro Akami, Mebachi no Tsuke, Karatsu Madai, Kochi Prefecture Mejimaguro, Kohada, Nodoguro, Buri, Ainame, Shima Aji, Tachiuo, Shime Saba, Ishidai, Akagai, Aburi Mizudako, Sawara, Hirame, Isaki, Anago Kanpyo Maki, Nameko Soup, Tamagoyaki. Recommended by a gourmet acquaintance, "Sushi Shutora" near Hanzomon Station and Kojimachi Station offers an amazing 5000 yen omakase nigiri course for lunch on weekdays! The reservation site "Toreta" listed the lunch omakase course as 1 appetizer, 15 pieces of nigiri, a roll, and a soup, but in reality, we received 20 pieces. Considering it's only 5000 yen including tax, it's quite surprising. The nigiri included Honmaguro Akami and Chutoro at the beginning, so the satisfaction level should be high! This time, we made a reservation for 4 people, so we were guided to a private room. It would have been better to confirm in advance by phone that if you want to eat sushi, sitting at the counter is preferable! While the cost performance is great, the plates for the nigiri were made of a material similar to paper plates, and the chopsticks were peeling off, which was a bit disappointing. The dinner time costs around 12,000 yen, making it a cost-effective restaurant, but why not start with the 5000 yen omakase course for lunch on weekdays? Thank you for the meal. Be sure to give it a try! Current rating based on reviews: 3.47 Number of reviews at the time: 49 pieces
