A very calming private room. You can eat without worrying about others. I couldn't hear voices from other rooms. The crab shabu-shabu was delicious! It melts in your mouth. I took my father on a trip and he was satisfied too. I think this restaurant can satisfy both young and elderly customers. You get a lot of food for the price and feel satisfied. If you go to Sapporo, definitely visit this place!

I didn't have a reservation, but I was able to get a table right away. Since I didn't have a reservation, the available courses were limited, but I ordered the Yukitsukikazehana course for 14,000 yen (excluding tax). The Tarabagani and Kegani were all delicious and I was very satisfied!

In Sapporo City, Chuo Ward, Minami 3 Jo Nishi 4 Chome, the underground floor of the J-BOX building, there is a Japanese-style restaurant with a calming atmosphere called "Kani to Doshan Ryori Sekkatei". The luxurious Wata Yuki course with crab (tax included) costs 11,595 yen. The fried crab shell was delicious. The Taraba grilled crab felt a bit dry.

About a 20-minute walk from Sapporo Station, I arrived at a hotel near the station. Along the way, I enjoyed sightseeing at the Clock Tower and taking photos at the TV Tower. Finally, I reached the restaurant, which had a nice atmosphere and was clean, with private rooms. The snow crab was sweet and delicious. The shabu-shabu was full of meat and had a nice texture. The last dish, a savory porridge, was also flavorful and tasty.

If you come to Hokkaido, you'll want to try the live hair crab, so I visited "Kani to Doshoku Ryori Sekkatei" to enjoy a meal. You can escape the hustle and bustle of Susukino and relax in a private room. Choose only what you like. I ordered the eagerly awaited live hair crab steamed, live tarabagani sashimi, tarabagani tempura, sea urchin sashimi, teppou-jiru (crab miso soup), crab cooked rice, nigiri sushi, and buttered potatoes.

I visited to enjoy my first crab shabu-shabu experience. The restaurant is all private rooms with a sophisticated and calm atmosphere. I ordered Taraba and Zuwai crab shabu-shabu, crab dumplings, and grilled crab shell. The thick and rich crab meat was delicious to savor, the plum sauce on the crab dumplings was excellent, and the grilled crab shell paired well with alcohol! The crab broth was so delicious that I ended up adding porridge.

We chose the course "Watasnow" because we didn't want to have too much food with the à la carte option. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, with all private rooms. The staff who took care of our room provided excellent service. We started with beer to wet our throats. The snow crab legs were sweet and delicious, but a bit watery. The grilled snow crab was fragrant and tasty. The deep-fried crab shells were good with the tartar sauce. The crab dumplings with plum sauce were really delicious. The crab and salmon roe rice was tasty, and the mint-like leaves added a nice touch. The clear soup was gentle in flavor, and the fresh gluten had a nostalgic feel. The yuzu sherbet was excellent. We also ordered the octopus sashimi, which was also fantastic - the suction cups had a nice texture, and the meat was tender and delicious. I wish they had more variety of sake. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

I ordered the Mizukumo course (8 dishes) for 10,000 yen. It seems like Hokkaido locals don't often go out to eat crab at restaurants. So, for a special occasion, we decided to come to this place to eat crab. We were seated in a private room with a great view. The crab was deliciously sweet! The tempura was also crispy and tasty. The variety of dishes made sure we didn't get tired of eating crab. I wish we had gone for a more expensive course. Overall, it was a wonderful meal!

I wanted to eat crab, so I narrowed down a few options and chose this place. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in a traditional inn. Although I knew it would be expensive, I ordered one course and then went crazy ordering a la carte dishes. We had snow crab shabu-shabu, added snow crab legs, half-boiled hairy crab, boiled snow crab legs, snow crab tempura, chicken meatballs, and kinmedai fish hot pot for two. The dishes arrived in no particular order, so it was unclear which was part of the course. The snow crab shabu-shabu was surprisingly large and satisfying. The boiled snow crab was easy to eat and had a sweet and thick meat. The chicken meatballs were unexpectedly delicious. The kinmedai fish hot pot was full of meat and the flavor soaked into the broth. You can order it for one person for around 3800 yen. The most surprising dish was the rare snow crab legs for shabu-shabu. They were incredibly thick and had a sweet and rich crab flavor. Although they were around 3000 yen each, they were worth it. I was so full and running out of time that I couldn't enjoy the rice porridge slowly. I got carried away with ordering various dishes, so I would like to visit this place again as a special treat.

Left Noboribetsu and arrived in Sapporo in the afternoon. Skipped lunch to prepare for the evening. The restaurant near Sapporo Station opens at 5 pm, so we walked from our hotel in Sapporo to Susukino. The restaurant is located in a building near Tanuki Koji, on the basement floor, with private rooms overlooking a courtyard. It was quiet and had a luxurious feel which was nice! As usual, we ordered everything a la carte as we didn't want any extras. The live boiled hair crab was amazingly sweet. The king crab shabu-shabu was surprisingly large and had a good texture. The Hokkaido snow crab shabu-shabu was thicker than anything we had before. The grilled king crab claw was also huge, with firm fibers and sweet meat. The Hokkaido snow crab teppanyaki seemed a bit overcooked and dry. The tempura assortment with king crab and snow crab was crispy and delicious. The king crab croquette had a strong crab flavor and was creamy. The king crab and snow crab sushi had large rice portions but were tasty. There were other menu items we wanted to try but we ate quite a lot already. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

One of the purposes of my gourmet trip in Sapporo was to eat crab at Yukakatei. I enjoyed a crab course meal in a calm atmosphere with a beautiful view of the garden. From start to finish, the elegant and mature setting was a nice change from the city. The crab dishes were delicious and it was a great experience! Thank you for the meal. Matsubagani shabu-shabu, Kegani tarabagani yubiki, Tarabagani tempura, Matsubagani miso, Fluffy seafood wrap with crab meat, Hon shishamo, Hokkai teppanyaki crab, Crab zosui, Crab teppanyaki, and several Sapporo Classic beers were enjoyed.

A few years ago, I found a photo from a visit and decided to post it as a commemoration. This was during a trip to Hokkaido. We wanted to eat crab since we were in winter in Hokkaido, so we called several places near the hotel but were turned down because it was the same day. Finally, we ended up at this restaurant. It had a luxurious feel and we were able to eat delicious crab.

The private rooms are spacious and the atmosphere is nice. The snow crab and king crab are decent. However, the freshness of the snow crab in the crab assortment was poor and the miso was not tasty. The sashimi assortment did not match the price. The sea urchin was very dark and I had no desire to eat it. It seems like they are underestimating the locals. Overall, the cost and quality of the food do not match up.

I was able to eat a year's worth of crab in one sitting! Don't underestimate the course. It's a volume that will fill you up completely (sweating).
