I didn't eat pizza on my first visit, so I decided to get takeout on the "Cooking Skipping Day." I tried to order through the app, but it said "currently not accepting orders at this time." Are they also doing shortened hours? I called and was able to place an order, and they said I could pick it up in 10 minutes... The LINE discount set menu was 2,299 yen, which included 2 medium pizzas (1 Quattro Happy Range, 1 Quattro 2 Happy Range), and 3 side dishes. However, I couldn't see the detailed menu because I couldn't order through the app at that time. Which pizzas can I choose? Can I add sides to this? The staff spoke quickly and I couldn't catch everything they said, even when I asked again, they repeated it in the same tone. I tried to order the following: Quattro Happy Tropical/Genovese/American/Margherita, Quattro 2 Happy Ebimayo Nez/Margherita/DominodeLuxe/Charcoal Grilled Chicken Teriyaki, Apple Pie, Stretchy Cheese Stick, Chorogi Salad. This was my second time ordering pizza since the restaurant opened in Asahikawa, but again!! Can't they improve the presentation? Last time, the pizza was cut right in the middle of the Quattro, and this time, the toppings were very uneven... Is it because they have to hand it over in 10 minutes as per the manual? Maybe some people complain if they have to wait a few minutes longer, but I wouldn't mind waiting 5 more minutes if they could be a bit more careful.

I recently visited Domino's Pizza Asahikawa Nijo-dori store, the first Domino's Pizza store in Asahikawa, as part of their expansion in Hokkaido. I had a nostalgic connection to Domino's Pizza as it used to be near my childhood home, and my family always enjoyed ordering from there. I was disappointed when they closed down. However, I made a reservation in advance and went to pick up my order with my pizza-loving friend, Taro. When you pick up your order, you get a 50% discount, so it's definitely worth it. The store is designed with the pickup experience in mind, unlike other pizza places where you might have to wait in a cramped space. We ordered the Seafood Special (with tomato sauce) for 1443 yen and the Dokanko Quattro for 1406 yen. The pizzas were slightly more well-done, which I personally prefer, and the salty stretchy cheese was appetizing. The Dokanko Quattro had a combination of Hokkaido three cheeses, Hokkaido salmon and cream, Hokkaido grated yam and charcoal-grilled beef, and Hokkaido fried chicken. It was piping hot, like if Char from Gundam held the pizza with his bare hands. As for the taste, it was delicious. We also ordered side dishes like the Chiki Chiki (grilled chicken and nuggets for 262 yen) and Potato Fries (187 yen), but they were nothing special.

On June 23, 2021, a major brand finally arrived in Asahikawa. I tried something from "Domino's Pizza Asahikawa 2-jo Street Store". The store is located at 16-cho, 2-jo Street, Asahikawa City, and is open from 11:00 to 24:00 with no holidays. They offer parking and takeout services. You can make reservations online and pay by card. When you pick up your order, it's surprisingly cheap (half price). The store has an open kitchen layout, and the young staff members were working hard. Unlike other delivery pizza places where the focus is not on in-store customers, the service here was polite and attentive. The staff members were efficient and pleasant. Despite some initial negative reviews online, my experience on a Sunday afternoon, one month after the opening, was quite positive in terms of both the food and service. The staff even allowed me to take a picture of their handiwork. The Quattro Camembert Mille-Feuille (size R) for 1834 yen including tax, along with two side dishes of your choice for 600 yen including tax (French fries, chicken nuggets) were delicious. The chicken nuggets had a soft texture and the accompanying barbecue sauce was rich and tasty. The pizza was simple, with a light and refreshing overall taste. Although the toppings may look sparse, the cheese was gooey and stretched well, providing a satisfying experience without feeling heavy. Despite the modest appearance, the good taste justifies the price. For everyday dining, this place is recommended, while for special occasions where someone else is footing the bill, a fancier (and pricier) pizza place with more lavish toppings might be more suitable.

The atmosphere was exciting even before the opening✩.*˚ It's a pizza chain, so it took some time for me to feel like visiting, but I finally did. I wish they delivered... it's not that far away... Please expand your delivery area... (*˘ ˘*) [Margherita] ♬ There seem to be some good deals, but for now I'll go with this... The pizza... doesn't it seem a little overcooked? I'll warm up each slice in the toaster oven and eat it carefully to avoid burning it further... I added some toppings later and enjoyed it decently ♬ The freshness of the salad... is it at a level where it's hard to eat? I think freshness is important, so I hope they do better... |ω・`) Thanks for the meal (*^^*)

I wanted to eat pizza after a long time, so I went to Domino's Pizza as I saw in the flyer. Since it was half price for pick-up orders, I decided to pick it up. I ordered "Domino's Deluxe" for 985 yen, "Margherita" for 990 yen, "Quattro Giant" for 1300 yen, and "Quattro Camembert Millefeuille" for 1535 yen. I highly recommend the Quattro Camembert Millefeuille, which has ham & mushrooms, tomato & basil, shrimp & garlic, pancetta & Italian sausage, each in a quarter of the pizza. It's a bit pricey but absolutely satisfying.

When I was in Sapporo, I wonder if I ever ordered Domino's Pizza. I don't remember much, so I checked the menu on the web. I decided to try the Spicy Pizza Sandwich for 599 yen, which has jalapenos and pepperoni in it. At first, I was a bit confused, but it turned out to be jalapenos and pepperoni salami. The bread part was crispy and had a good texture. The cheese was only lightly added on the outer part of the bread cuts. It was baked so that it stuck to the paper box, and when I peeled it off, the paper also came off... I hope they improve this. The spiciness was not enough for me, so I added a lot of my own habanero sauce and ate it. The menu flyer in front of the store only listed pizzas and sides, so you need to download the website or app to see the full menu. It might be only for this store, but until December 19, 2021, if you order delivery online, use coupon code "G793" to get 50% off on all pizzas.

I only bought potato and brought it home. I ordered the type with butter, but I didn't feel like there was much butter in it. However, it was moist and fluffy, and had a good texture. The Kitami store will be opening soon, so next time I want to try the pizza.

On a holiday afternoon, I bought a "Plain Pizza (M) for 550 yen & Quattro Happy (M) for 975 yen (both for takeout)" for lunch. My daughter suddenly declared, "Dad, I want pizza for lunch." I remembered that Domino's Pizza had opened on Nijo Street. "Dad, if you pick it up, it's half price," my wife announced, as we pass by the store every day on our commute. So, I guess I'll be the one to go get it... "I'll do it for you," I said. And just like that, I transformed into "Dad Eats"! After placing the phone order, I set off on my mission. Upon returning home, my family and I enjoyed the meal. In the past, we were disappointed by Ten**ya and Pizza**t, but how does this place compare? Oh, surprisingly good. I'm not a pizza expert, but this is the best one I've had. "It's delicious," my family agreed. It looks like this place might become our go-to pizza spot. When that time comes, I'll gladly transform once again...

Finally, Domino's Pizza has arrived in Asahikawa! When I lived in Tokyo, I only ever ate Domino's or Pizza-La. Since coming to Asahikawa, I've been eating Pizza Hut exclusively. The store is very clean with an open kitchen where you can see them making the pizzas. I arrived 5 minutes before my pick-up time and had to wait a bit because my order wasn't ready yet. After 10 minutes of waiting, I suddenly realized that the order they were calling out might be mine. It turns out it was! I accidentally ordered a huge 40cm Quattro New Yorker pizza, which was much larger than I expected. The crust was hand-tossed, giving it a unique texture. It was so big that one slice was enough to fill me up. I also ordered another pizza, thinking it would be the same size, but it turned out to be a half-and-half with teriyaki tamago and a half-and-half with mozzarella cheese and takoyaki. The teriyaki tamago pizza had a sweet taste, with the egg adding a nice flavor. The mozzarella cheese and takoyaki pizza lacked a bit of punch, but the crust was delicious. I also ordered some side dishes: a cheese stick and mini pancakes. Unfortunately, they didn't taste as good as they would have fresh out of the oven. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but next time I'll be more careful with my order.

Today is my daughter's birthday, so we decided to get pizza. We ordered the limited-time Chicken & Honey Mustard and Margherita pizzas for takeout. The crust was soft and chewy, and each slice was quite filling. Since it was takeout, we got it for half price, which felt like a good deal. Thank you for the meal.
