"Kushiyaki restaurant 'Kushiyaki Daisuke' located at the main gate. It's within walking distance from Hamamatsucho Station. It seems that they have also opened a sushi restaurant under the name Daisuke. The owner is there, right? The interior of the restaurant consists of a counter in the shape of a 'Co' and only two table seats. There is a lively atmosphere similar to Shinbashi, with mainly salarymen chatting noisily. They don't offer courses, but rather a la carte dishes. The prices for skewers are mostly around 300 yen per skewer. They use a brand chicken called Date Chicken. The chopstick rest is in the shape of ink, a pretty stylish touch. The only thing sold out was the chicken liver, so we ordered all the other skewers. The result was very delicious. I didn't even notice it was Date Chicken until halfway through. The grilling technique is excellent, and considering the price range, I think it's a good restaurant. You can easily blend in even if you come alone. Here are some of the skewers we tried: - Chicken thigh: Juicy and flavorful, despite not being as large as chicken skewers. - Chicken heart: No peculiar smell, just filled with meaty goodness. An ideal chicken heart. - Chicken skin: Crispy and sticky, full of flavor. - Chicken tenderloin: Abundantly topped with two types of green onions. The contrast between the chewy texture of the tenderloin and the crunchiness of the green onions is great. - Chicken liver: - Cartilage: Slightly juicy meat with a nice touch. - Tsukune: - Tail meat: - Gizzard: - Chicken wings: The total bill for two people was 18,000 yen. Eating this much, ordering a bottle, and not even reaching 10,000 yen per person is amazing. Courses often include things you don't want to eat, but here you have the freedom to customize. This is definitely a restaurant that the locals would want. Thank you for the meal."

We made a reservation for four people and visited this restaurant for the first time. We had a variety of dishes including assorted grilled chicken, watercress salad, whale bacon, pickles, vinegar-marinated sardines, etc. We sat at a table with our backs to the counter, so we couldn't see the kitchen, but the atmosphere was lively and pleasant. The drinks were also good. The assorted grilled chicken was delicious and wonderful.

I was brought to the restaurant by my boss and was lucky to make a reservation for a table a week in advance. The restaurant was packed with customers! I ordered potato salad, raw chicken with miso, grilled chicken skewers, liver, breast meat with basil cheese, raw octopus with basil, minced chicken over rice, and liver. The liver was very tender and I couldn't resist ordering more! The chicken skewers were generously topped with green onions, and the raw octopus with basil was delicious! The portions were large and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied!

We were lucky to visit without a reservation and called just before arriving, and they had an opening. The meat was cooked right in front of us on this unique counter. It was incredibly delicious, and each type of meat had distinct characteristics. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos, which is a bit sad. It's a great place to go for a nice meal with two people.

This was my first visit. The clientele seemed to be adults or adult couples in a calm atmosphere. Both the counter and tables were full, creating a lively atmosphere. However, the grilling area for yakitori was not very large, so it took a bit of time to receive the yakitori. That being said, the yakitori and appetizers were of high quality and very delicious. The service from the staff was also speedy, making it a very good restaurant.

I visited the restaurant with high expectations due to the positive reviews, but I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. The recommended rare chicken liver was overcooked and disappointing. However, the grilled chicken neck with plenty of green onions was delicious. The menu didn't list it, but the rolled omelette with dashi was also tasty. The glassware was clean, and the place seemed to prioritize cleanliness, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Located about a 3-minute walk from the main gate, the restaurant was bustling at 6:00 pm. They were grilling yakitori in the center, surrounded by a counter and also had table seating. The interior was calm and the menu was a la carte. The chicken was fresh and carefully grilled over charcoal, so it took a bit of time. It wasn't greasy at all and you could easily eat as many skewers as you wanted. With prices ranging from 300 yen per skewer, the quality was high and the cost performance was excellent. The fluffy grilled snow crab omelette was wrapped with care and had a delicious broth flavor. The appetizer was grated daikon with small fish, and the chopstick rest had ink marks here and there, showing attention to detail. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Yes, it was a very good yakitori restaurant with a solid reputation!! I recommend the large thigh skewer with two pieces of meat and the negima skewer with plenty of green onions. The skewer with cheese and bell peppers in between was also good! It was a yakitori restaurant that makes the most of the chicken ingredients. The person grilling the skewers, maybe the owner, often mistakenly delivered the ordered skewers to the wrong customers. This was also part of the charm. Haha.

Recommendation: Cheesepea, Seseri, Daily Seafood
I made a reservation by phone about a week in advance. It's quite difficult to get a reservation here, so I was lucky. The yakitori is all delicious, but the must-try items are Seseri and Cheesepea! Seseri is topped with green onions and plum paste, making it easy to eat with its refreshing meat juices. As you can see in the photos, Cheesepea is delicious. Seafood is also recommended here. This time, I ordered rock oysters and sea bream shirako. The oysters were firm and excellent.

• Bird liver 363 yen • Chicken 363 yen • Sabiyaki 330 yen • Tsukune 363 yen • Liver 330 yen • Seseri 385 yen • Bon 330 yen • Skin 330 yen • Hatsu 308 yen • Tebasaki 385 yen. Second post from Kushiyaki Daisuke. The grilled chicken I had on this day. Each skewer was large and satisfying. Especially the tebasaki had a big impact and made me go "Wow!" The grilled chicken, which was grilled twice after being dipped in sauce, had a strong and juicy flavor. Except for sabiyaki, I think the rest were marinated in sauce! The taste of the sauce was exquisite and went well with alcohol. The grilling was done perfectly, and you can enjoy each skewer without any fuss. The counter seats surround the grilling area, so you can enjoy watching the staff's movements. There are also table seats, so it's great for group gatherings. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first time visiting a yakitori restaurant in Tokyo, and I chose to go to Kushiyaki Daisuke near Hamamatsucho Station. It had been a while since I last had yakitori, so I was excited to visit. I ended up trying almost all the yakitori items on the menu, so I will need two posts to cover everything. In this first post, I will focus on non-chicken skewers and side dishes. There were many dishes that would go perfectly with alcohol, which was a pleasant surprise. There were hardly any dishes using chicken sashimi or chicken meat, but instead, there were many seafood dishes like oysters, mackerel marinated in vinegar, and more. It was nice to be able to enjoy seafood along with the yakitori. In addition to the regular yakitori, there were also meat-wrapped items on skewers, so I tried all three. Each skewer had a generous portion size, and the juicy meat-wrapped skewers were especially delicious. Among them, the Cheese Pea in the first photo was incredibly tasty, with the juicy pork, refreshing bell pepper, and melty cheese. Watching the skewers being grilled right in front of me was also enjoyable. I will write about the chicken yakitori I had that day in the next post. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Near Daimon Station, there is a popular yet clean yakitori restaurant. I made a reservation and visited on a weekday night, but it was fully booked. You can either choose a set number of skewers or order your favorite skewers as you like. Lately, many upscale yakitori restaurants offer set courses or keep recommending dishes until you say stop, so it's nice to be able to enjoy high-quality yakitori in the traditional way like this. The most delicious skewer was definitely the chicken neck and heart! I recommend this place for when you want to casually enjoy your favorite yakitori to your heart's content!

I didn't have a reservation but managed to get in around 5:30 PM on Thursday! They grilled the skewers carefully right in front of me, and I was able to eat them piping hot. It was so delicious, it felt like I hadn't had tasty yakitori in a long time. I may have eaten a bit too much, haha. The hotate (scallop) was also incredibly delicious!

It was more mainstream than I had imagined. There were a lot of office workers, probably due to the location, and it was very lively even on weekdays. The flavors were on the rich side, perfect for pairing with alcohol. The liver was a bit tough, but I really liked the skewer with tomato wrapped in bacon.

The interior of the restaurant was a bit different from the appearance, giving off a more casual vibe. I was able to order just the dishes I liked a la carte, which was great! There was a review saying that the liver was delicious when rare, but it was actually cooked quite well. The prices were all around 300 yen, so it was very reasonable.

We went out to eat at a popular restaurant with my university friends, as it was listed as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog for 2022. Despite having made a reservation for 7:00 pm, we had to wait for about 15 minutes as the previous customers were still at their table. The food, especially the grilled skewers, was delicious as everyone had praised. The oysters were particularly large and tasty this time. There were other menu items that caught our interest, so we look forward to trying them next time.

I suddenly felt like eating yakitori, so I took a chance and called the restaurant. Miraculously, they had a cancellation and were able to secure a table for me. Even though I started a bit late, every skewer was really delicious. They serve them fresh and in the best condition. (Popular items may sell out early, so be careful when ordering) They also have a great selection of side dishes, and I especially liked the potato salad. Thank you for the meal ^^

On regular days, the restaurant is always full and you can't get in on the spot, so this time there's no set course that needs to be reserved two weeks in advance, so you can just order what you like. There were a lot of people who came after work, but it was a place with a Showa era atmosphere (laughs). The skewers are quite filling and I ate about 10.5 skewers!

I visited on a Saturday with same-day reservation. Although there was a time limit due to being fully booked, I was glad to be able to get in as I had wanted to try it for a while. The yakitori and side dishes were delicious with generous portions. I wanted to order more, but I got full and had to cancel the chicken wings I had ordered, which was really disappointing. I want to try the minced chicken rice bowl next time, so I'm planning to revisit soon.

I visited Tokyo for the first time since January, and I was able to secure a seat with a reservation the day before. I visited with a colleague from work. We had the omakase course of 10 skewers and a few other dishes. The omakase skewers were cooked at a leisurely pace due to the busy time, and each skewer was large and cooked slightly rare. They were incredibly delicious. I ended up ordering 3 more skewers because they were so good. For the finale, we had chicken rice porridge, which left us completely satisfied. I would love to come back to eat here again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
