I was hesitant to write this on Tabelog because there was alcohol involved, but I'll share it here. This is a new hotel that opened last year. When we checked in, there was a welcome drink in the lobby, and guess what! They had red wine and white wine available. We poured it into paper cups and took it to our room, where there was even a KitKat waiting for us. Despite being a business hotel, they had a hot spring bath, included a welcome drink, and breakfast, all for under 6000 yen for two people! It was such a great deal that we couldn't help but toast to it. KitKat and wine go surprisingly well together. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the sweet and rich curry. I highly recommend this place for when you stay in Obihiro.

I couldn't get my usual Fukui-san, so I came to this hotel for the first time. The room is small. It's a clean hotel with a natural feel. The amenities are sufficient. Breakfast is 700 yen. They had curry.

We stayed at Super Hotel in Obihiro this time. The room was a twin room with a large bed, spacious and comfortable. Now, onto the breakfast buffet we were looking forward to so much! I had high expectations and ended up expecting too much. The variety of dishes changed between the first and second day, which was nice. The food was mostly cold, sitting on a hot plate, and had a lukewarm feel to it. The rice was moist and sticky. They had Tokachi curry, which was delicious with its thick curry roux. I had the curry both days. And then, the freshly baked bread! The bread was really delicious, with various types like sweet bread and olive bread. I ended up eating white rice, followed by bread... How much carbohydrates can one consume in the morning? Also, the raw egg for egg over rice had a white yolk! In these times of egg shortages, being able to have egg over rice is a blessing. It was very much appreciated. Breakfast was available for an additional 900 yen. For 900 yen, it was great value for money. It was a great way to charge up with energy in the morning. The drink bar was open until 9 pm in the evening, offering three types of Japanese sake (from Hokkaido), Tokachi shochu (from Sahoro Shuzo), gin, vodka, whiskey, non-alcoholic liqueurs, and more. It was heaven for those who enjoy drinking. But be careful not to drink too much. Thank you for the meal!
