Beautiful mom-run restaurant located in the building adjacent to the subway (next to the famous Nikka building with a large sign). Amikou-san's revolving sushi is located directly below, on the basement floor. The entrance has a fairly high-class feel, but inside is quite casual. The food feels more like homemade dishes by a young wife rather than dining out. They offer a selection of mini bottles of sake from all over Japan, catering to those who enjoy drinking. It's nice that they have famous brands available. The restaurant is small in size, similar to a snack bar, and since it's run by just the mom, it gives off a vibe that is more suitable for middle-aged and older men. The compatibility with the mom is everything. It has a Susukino-like atmosphere. Although prices are not displayed, dishes are around 1,000 yen each, and a glass (or bottle) of sake is also around 1,000 yen. A three-item platter for 1,000 yen is a good deal.

The cozy interior of the restaurant is a clean and comfortable space where even solo diners can feel at ease. I received two delicious-looking senbei crackers from a regular customer who chatted happily with the proprietress. The beer was served in a simple, logo-free glass, which I liked. Various appetizers were included, such as chicken skewers, bacon, pork cartilage, simmered pumpkin, daikon and carrot salad, corn, and broccoli. The potato salad was not watery and the cherry tomatoes were sweet and tasty. I tried the junmai sake Fukumasamune, which was quite delicious with a refreshing acidity. I was intrigued by the inari sushi, which was not listed on the menu.
