There is only one menu option for lunch, the Uwajima Tai Meshi Set Meal (1800 yen). Despite the somewhat high price, I decided to give it a try and arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before the 11:30 opening time. A long line quickly formed behind me, so I was glad I arrived early. As soon as the restaurant opened, I was seated and told that the set meal would be prepared for me. While waiting, I was served barley tea, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. It was clear that they put a lot of effort into it. After about 15 minutes, the set meal arrived. It was huge, much more than I expected! Along with the tai (sea bream), there were tempura, fish cakes, and burdock. I had a guide on how to eat the tai, so I followed the instructions. Mixing the egg with the soy-based broth and simmering the tai was incredibly delicious! It was the best tai meshi I had ever eaten! The flavor was amazing, and the presentation was top-notch. The broth was so carefully made that it really enhanced the taste of the tofu, broccoli, eggplant tempura, and white fish tempura. The fish cakes were sweet and delicious, and the burdock with sesame dressing was also amazing. The clear soup had an elegant flavor that I wanted to keep drinking. The soy-based broth was so good that I even tried it over rice, and it was fantastic! I poured the broth over the leftover tai on a bed of rice, added all the condiments, and it was heavenly. The soy-based broth was just too good. I was so happy to have such a delicious meal for lunch. I felt like I was floating on clouds. I definitely want to come back for dinner sometime. The dinner menu looked just as delicious.

Visited here with a couple we know. The husband's company is nearby, so they are regulars and were treated well. Surprisingly, the waitress with great social skills turned out to be a distant acquaintance! They serve sea bream tea rice and lunch sets during the day, and it seems they are always busy. We had the evening course. It started with appetizers, then sea bream tempura, salmon roe sushi, bonito sashimi, salt-grilled saury, delicious Matsutake mushroom steamed in a pot for the second time this year, and ended with sea bream tea rice as a finale. Got drunk and had a great time! Thank you for the feast!

I visited this restaurant around 12 pm on a weekday and only had to wait for about 5 minutes. I ordered the Uwajima Tai Meshi for 1800 yen. I was craving the Tai Meshi from a now-closed restaurant in Shinbashi, so I searched for a place that serves it and found this restaurant. Although it was better than the Tai Meshi I had at Kaorihime in Shinbashi before, it still didn't quite measure up to the one from Uwajima. The side dishes were also well-prepared, and it was a nice restaurant overall, but I can't help but compare it to the original in Uwajima, so I don't think I will visit again.

I found a nice restaurant near Daimon Station in Hamamatsucho where I decided to have lunch during a transfer. The restaurant is called "Taiju" and is known for its dishes made with Uwajima-produced sea bream. I ordered the "Uwajima sea bream rice set meal for 1800 yen." The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming, with friendly staff and a warm energy. The meal included various side dishes like fried chicken, eggplant tempura, tofu with sauce, and more. The highlight was the fresh sea bream sashimi served with a delicious egg and soy sauce mixture. The meal was satisfying and worth the price. I enjoyed every bite and left feeling content.

I had the Uwajima sea bream rice lunch for 1,800 yen. Around 11:25, there were about 2 people lining up in front of me. Although the store opens at 11:30, it actually opened at 11:32. I entered the store right away, ordered the only menu item, and it was served around 11:47. I wish they could have provided it a little faster after preparing it properly. The lunch was excellent. If you were to have it in Ginza or a hotel, it would probably cost around 2,500 to 3,500 yen. 1,800 yen is a great value. The amount of rice was generous.

I had a luxurious feeling with a sea bream bowl lunch from noon. Each side dish was carefully prepared and delicious. The lunch menu includes one drink. The food was so good that it didn't feel like it cost 1800 yen. I always have the image of lining up, but if you time it right, you can get in right away. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

・Lunch Uwajima Tai Meshi Set Meal (1,800 yen) Visit after 3 years and 10 months. Looking back, it seems like it was 1,000 yen 10 years ago, so I feel the rise in prices. Visited on a weekday at 11:20. 3 groups, 6 people waiting, became the 7th in line. Shortly after, 4 more customers arrived. The store opened at 11:26. With 11 people entering, it was full. Around 11:45, the first customers started to leave. For lunch, there was only the Tai Meshi Set Meal available. In addition to the tai fish, there was fish, tofu, eggplant in a sauce, sweet potato tempura, and dried young sardines. It was the same as my last visit. You can get a refill of rice. For the first serving of rice, they ran out of tai fish, so I had fish, tofu, and eggplant in a sauce, and sweet potato tempura. For the second serving of rice, I poured dashi broth and raw egg with seaweed over the rice, then topped it with the remaining tai fish, like a raw egg over rice dish. - Tai fish had a crispy texture - The rice was cooked well and tasted delicious. The miso soup was also delicious. I enjoyed my meal once again. Thank you for the meal.

I heard from a friend that it was "delicious" so I went to BM~ to see for myself. I arrived at 11:15 AM and waited for the store to open at PP. After entering, a beautiful meal set was served. The menu consisted of only "Tai Cha (sea bream tea)" for 1800 yen. It came with soy sauce with raw egg, along with slices of fresh sea bream sashimi, wasabi, chopped green onions, and seaweed to mix and match as you like. The simmered side dish had a delicious broth, and there were small dishes of fried sardines and boiled whitebait, providing a variety of flavors and making me feel like I was indulging in a luxurious meal. The thinly sliced sea bream sashimi was beautiful and had a nice texture - it felt very fresh. The light soy sauce with raw egg paired well with the sea bream, creating a refined dish. I had a second helping of rice and tried the sea bream sashimi with raw egg over rice, which was quite delicious. Personally, I love "marinated sea bream," so I felt that the light flavor was a bit lacking, but I still enjoyed it as a tasty dish. Although it's a bit pricey, I was satisfied with the high-quality set meal that was prepared with great care. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The sea bream rice here is served raw without being cooked. When eaten with the dipping sauce as sashimi, the sea bream has a rich and firm texture. Without a doubt, it is the most delicious, truly living up to the reputation of a Thai restaurant. All the side dishes are also delicious. Especially the fried fish was incredibly tasty, so much so that you might question if it's really fish. Pouring the egg dashi over rice to make ochazuke creates a very rich and intense flavor, further enhancing the Thai taste. I wish they would sell the sauce. I want to eat egg rice every day. Looking closely, the Japanese set meal is of high quality! It was delicious and there was no wait when I visited at 12:00 on a weekday. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around the opening time. There were about 30 people waiting in line, and I was considering giving up, but decided to wait in line anyway. As the first group of customers entered, the line was reduced by half. Although I wasn't supposed to be seated in the first round, there was one empty seat and since everyone in front of me had a party of two or more, I was able to skip ahead and get seated! Lucky me. The lunch menu consisted of a 1800 yen Uwajima Tai Meshi set meal. It took quite some time for the meal to arrive after being seated, so be prepared for that. They prepare 2-3 sets at a time, so the wait time may vary depending on your seating order. I arrived last and got seated around 12:00, waiting for about 30 minutes. The set meal included tai sashimi, vegetables, tofu, tai tempura with sauce, small fish tempura, and dried young sardines, all of which were delicious! Mixing the egg in the dashi soy sauce and pouring it over the rice with the tai was absolutely fantastic! The egg in the dashi sauce was so tasty that even without the tai, it would have made a delicious egg rice bowl. The sauce was also delicious with a gentle flavor, making the 1800 yen lunch worth it for the satisfying and flawless meal.

I was extremely satisfied. For lunch, they only serve the Uwajima Tai Meshi set for 1800 yen. It's their signature dish and it did not disappoint. Not only the Uwajima Tai Meshi was amazing, but the other dishes that came with it were also fantastic. Today, I had fried eggplant and daikon simmered in a peppery sauce topped with crispy fried Tai, as well as crispy Uwajima fish cake with shirasu, and burdock with sesame dressing. I ended up getting a second serving of rice, and my stomach was completely full. The woman next to me (a stranger) couldn't resist the temptation and started drinking alcohol, saying "I still have work to do."

I finally had the chance to go to Taiki in Hamamatsucho after missing the timing for several attempts. Today, I had lunch there! The lunch menu only had one option, the Uwajima sea bream rice set (1,800 yen). The restaurant itself is small but clean and has a luxurious feel to it. The set includes sea bream sashimi, burdock root salad, small dishes of dried young sardines and boiled whitebait, rice with egg yolk sauce, miso soup, fried white fish with vegetable sauce, and another miso soup. The Uwajima sea bream rice is where you mix the sea bream sashimi with the egg yolk sauce and rice, and it is absolutely delicious! The sashimi was fresh and sweet, and when mixed with the rich egg yolk sauce, it was a perfect combination of flavors. The fried white fish with vegetable sauce was also flavorful, and the miso soup was filled with plenty of green onions and seaweed. The rice was cooked in a clay pot, shiny and firm, with just the right amount of sweetness. Although a bit pricey, the food was delicious, satisfying, and made me feel like I was away from the busy city. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at 11:20 am on a weekday and was the first in line when the restaurant opened at 11:30 am. The place quickly filled up as soon as it opened, with about 2 groups waiting outside. The lunch menu only had one option, the "Tai Meshi Set" for 1800 yen, which included rice, miso soup, tai sashimi, 3 appetizers, and a simmered dish. The sashimi was served with egg dashi, which was incredibly delicious. The egg dashi went well with the rice and sashimi, making it a luxurious treat despite the slightly high price for lunch. The restaurant has limited seating and tends to get crowded, so it may not be suitable for those looking for a leisurely dining experience.

It was a weekday lunchtime visit. Fortunately, there was no wait, and I was seated right away. With only one item on the menu, the food arrived in about 5-10 minutes after ordering. The presentation was beautiful and the food looked delicious! The main dish, Uwajima Tai Meshi, and other dishes were all carefully seasoned, allowing me to fully enjoy the taste of Japanese cuisine. The price was 1,800 yen, and please note that only cash payment is accepted. Thank you for the meal! I would definitely love to visit again when I'm in the area.

I arrived around 11:50 on a regular day and there were about 5 groups waiting. It took a while to move forward, and after waiting for a little over 30 minutes, I finally got inside the restaurant. The food came out in about 10 minutes! Following the instructions on how to eat, I started with just sashimi ✨ and then put the sea bream and garnish into the soy sauce-based sauce with eggs, like egg over rice. - The sea bream was plump and voluminous! - The seaweed was delicious too! - The sauce had a good balance of saltiness! The side dishes of simmered vegetables and burdock were also very delicious, and I was full. There was no mention of it, but some people were getting seconds of rice, so it might be allowed. At 1800 yen, it's a bit expensive, but the food was definitely worth waiting in line for!!!

I had the day off on a weekend and finally got to visit this restaurant on the middle day of Golden Week when my company was closed. I was the first in line before they opened, and a line formed behind me. The meal was as luxurious as a ryokan breakfast, with a delicious dish of sea bream served with egg on top instead of the usual tea-soaked rice. It was my first time trying such delicious sea bream rice! The side dishes were also luxurious and extravagant. It was a wonderful lunch experience!

Today, I visited Taiju for lunch after a long time. Since reservations are not accepted for lunch, I arrived 15 minutes before opening and found about 5-6 people already in line. Just before opening, there were about 20 groups waiting. Luckily, I was able to get in on the first round. Even on a hot day, the Uwajima sea bream rice is delicious and satisfying.

The limited lunch menu on Fridays is the "tai chazuke" set meal. We were able to enter smoothly as the line before 11:50 was all group customers, sorry about that. The serving was also smooth, taking only about 2 minutes. The food was very delicious. Although I felt that the price did not quite match the satisfaction, I understand that they must be trying their best with the lunch reopening.

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while. On my second visit, I finally went to the restaurant. They only serve sea bream rice bowl for lunch. When I sat down, the food arrived in about 10 minutes. The first thing I noticed was the beauty of the dishes. They were colorful but well coordinated. The dishes were beautifully arranged in those dishes. I felt welcomed by the appearance of the food before even tasting it. There were instructions on how to eat next to the table. You crack the egg, add sea bream and condiments, then pour it over the rice. The taste was as expected, but the quality of the ingredients stood out and it was very delicious. It wasn't flashy, but it was a taste that made me want to come back again. I will definitely visit again.

The restaurant was selected as one of the "Top 100 Izakaya Restaurants of the Year 2021". They only offer one lunch option, the 'Uwajima Tai Meshi Set (1,800 yen tax included)'. There was a line, but since there is only one menu option, the turnover was fast! We were served in about 12 minutes from lining up. The Tai Meshi consisted of raw sea bream and condiments on rice, topped with a soy sauce and dashi seasoned egg sauce. It was a luxurious version of Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice)♪ The portion of rice was generous, so the lady next to me ordered hers with less rice. The Tai Meshi was excellent, but the "dashi an sauce with sansho pepper" was also outstanding! With this set meal, I felt like I had experienced the "best Japanese set meal"♪ [Date and Time of Visit] Friday (Sunny) / 12:20 pm [Line] 6 people ※Waiting Time: about 10 minutes [Serving Time] about 2 minutes

Thank you for viewing. Today, we visited two lunch spots. We arrived at 11:15 for an 11:30 opening and there were already 12 people in line. The atmosphere was charming. Unfortunately, we were seated on the second rotation. The lunch menu consisted of only one option, "Uwajima-produced Sea Bream Rice Set" for 1800 yen. We were seated around noon and served at the counter. The meal arrived in about 5 minutes. In the center was a container with egg, dashi, and powdered bonito flakes. We enjoyed eating the sea bream with the egg, and also tried it with rice and egg. Everything was delicious, including the various side dishes. Thank you for the feast. We will visit again.
