There is a restaurant called Maruten in a coastal town that operates during the evening hours. It is run by a female owner. I haven't been able to go there because of the 7:00 pm opening time. It's been about six months since I last visited. I had a fish burger and ended up ordering a lot, so I was really full. I also had some crispy beer. It might be nice to get takeout and enjoy it at home.

I visited a Fish & Chips takeout shop that operates in a renovated old building for the first time. The shop had a cozy atmosphere, and there were cats gathering at the entrance, maybe because it was warm inside. I tried the regular size salmon for 1,080 yen. The salmon was crispy, fluffy, and delicious, boneless and easy to eat. The potatoes were also crispy and tasty.
