I had the miso flavor of Uma-Kara Yasai Ramen at Ramen Tenjiku located at 636-12 Higashitakasu 3-jo 3-chome, Asahikawa City (priced at 1100 yen). It comes in a red bowl with toppings like green onions, bamboo shoots, pork belly chashu, and seaweed. The vegetables include bean sprouts, cabbage, onions, and more. Tenjiku is a new restaurant that opened on October 15, 2022, taking over the location where Kusabi Higashitakasu used to be. The interior remains similar to the previous restaurant, with counter seats, table seats, and a raised seating area. Payment is cash only, and the menu includes Shoyu Ramen and Shio Ramen starting from 850 yen, while Miso Ramen starts from 900 yen. The menu can be a bit confusing, but adding miso costs an extra 50 yen. Additional toppings like pork fat or spicy flavor are 50 yen each, and pork fat with spicy flavor is 100 yen extra. Prices increase with extra vegetables, green onions, chashu, etc. They also offer Hormone Ramen, with Shoyu Hormone at 1000 yen and Miso Hormone at 1050 yen, among others. The only condiments on the table were black pepper and ichimi togarashi. The noodles in the Uma-Kara Yasai Ramen were from Suto Seimen and were Asahikawa-style noodles with low water content and a medium thickness. The soup had a balanced saltiness and a smooth texture, complemented by the crunchy vegetables and tender pork chashu. There aren't many dining options in this area of Higashitakasu, so I hope this new restaurant does well. Thank you for the meal.

While wandering around the countryside, my car started running low on gas. I realized I wouldn't make it to Sapporo without refueling, so I decided to get off at Asahikawa Kita to fill up. It was about 3 km to the gas station. On my way back to Asahikawa Kita Interchange, I stumbled upon this restaurant. Since I had seen it before on social media and was feeling a bit hungry, I decided to stop by. There was one other group of customers already there. With no one to seat us, we took a seat at the counter ourselves. The menu offered choices of shoyu, miso, shio, or karai flavors. I opted for the normal shoyu ramen priced at 850 yen, given that we were in Asahikawa. The owner served the ramen himself, with a piece of nori covering the noodles. The soup had the typical color of Asahikawa ramen. The noodles seemed to be the low-hydration type common in Asahikawa. The chashu looked like pork belly, accompanied by negi and menma. Hmm, the soup was not quite what I expected. I couldn't finish it all. I barely made it out before the restaurant closed for the afternoon. Thank you for the meal.

A new ramen restaurant has opened! I heard about it and couldn't wait to try it. I went with my ramen-loving friends and we tried the Spicy Vegetable Ramen. When we walked in, I saw the Sudo Seimen sign, which got me really excited. The place was busy during lunchtime, but it calmed down by the time we left. The parking lot was spacious, so we were able to find a spot easily. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My friends always order the Shoyu Ramen, so I was torn between Shio or Shoyu, but ended up going for the Spicy one because I wanted to take a nice picture. I also ordered the Negimeshi. The Spicy Ramen had a deep umami flavor with a good balance of spiciness. The noodles had a nice firmness and paired well with the soup. The Negimeshi was also delicious with a hint of sesame oil. I'm definitely coming back to try the Tonkotsu Ramen next time. It was so tasty! Thank you for the meal!

I have been visiting this shop since it was in a different location. I always order the special ramen with all the toppings (soy sauce). The rich and flavorful soup with thin noodles is exquisite. I always want to finish every last drop of the soup, but I have to resist due to high blood pressure. The previous shop also served delicious fried rice, which I hope will make a comeback at the current location. If the service speed improves and the soup gets even hotter, I would give it a 5-star rating.

It was my first time visiting. Despite being tonkotsu broth, it wasn't too rich and I could eat it smoothly. The spicy ramen wasn't too spicy. I want to go again. Next time, I want to try the regular soy sauce or salt flavors. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they suggested the hormone ramen. I think miso would go well with hormone ramen. In Asahikawa, they only have soy sauce hormone ramen. It's great that you can choose between tonkotsu, regular, and hormone based on your mood, so I'm likely to come back. It's a shame that the opening hours are short.

The ramen shop located in Motokusabi has good flavor, but the soup is lukewarm and it takes too long to be served. We had to wait as the 3rd group of 2 people, and it took over 20 minutes for our order to arrive. Does it really take that long to make 6 bowls of ramen? We only have a 1-hour lunch break, so it's not reassuring. Please try to make the food faster.

This is a ramen restaurant that opened on October 15th in Higashi-Takasuso, Asahikawa City. It was about two weeks after the opening and the evening was a bit less crowded, with one customer already there and one customer coming in later. The place used to be "Ramen Kusabi Higashi-Takasuso Branch" before, and the interior hasn't changed much. It has counter seats, table seats, and a raised seating area, making it quite spacious for a ramen shop. Looking at the menu, they offer a variety of options like back fat, spicy, and hormone. I wanted to try the "Hormone Rice" because I like hormone, but what ramen should I order? I asked the waiter what is delicious, and he recommended the popular "Back Fat Ramen (Shoyu)" (900 yen) and the "Hormone Rice" (500 yen, 50 yen off when ordered with ramen). The dishes arrived in about 5 minutes since there was no waiting. The Back Fat Ramen (Shoyu) had quite a bit of back fat, but it wasn't too heavy and was easy to eat. The noodles were Sudo Seimen's low-water, medium-thin noodles, which paired well with the soup. The char siu was delicious with a tender texture, and the menma was salt-free. The Hormone Rice had tenderly simmered hormone that was very tasty, with a rich flavor. It was topped with seaweed, hormone, white sesame, and green onions, making it a delicious dish. The raised seating area is very spacious, making it suitable for customers with small children!

A new ramen shop has opened in Asahikawa. It took over the location where the Ramen Kusabi Higashitakasu store used to be. The place was a bit far from home, but I decided to check it out. There were quite a few cars parked outside. It's a 3-minute drive from the Asahikawa Kita IC. Even though it's in Asahikawa, it's near the border with the neighboring town. The shop opened on October 15, but since it's a takeover, it didn't feel brand new inside. The bus stop is right in front of the shop, but I'm not familiar with buses. The menu seems to feature their Horumon Ramen, but I wish they had their own original ramen. It's challenging to add uniqueness to ramen. It's helpful when there are photos on the menu for easy understanding. They offer 4 flavors plus extras: ramen, back fat ramen, spicy ramen, and back fat spicy ramen as the standard options. I asked for a recommendation and chose the miso flavor. The miso ramen was listed as 850 yen for a small size with rice, but I was charged 900 yen at the counter. The miso flavor was an additional 50 yen, which I missed on the menu. The toppings included chashu, green onions, seaweed, menma, and bean sprouts. The menma was soft and flavorful. The chashu was large and well-seasoned. The broth had a soy sauce base and was slightly red in color. It had a sweet taste, which I enjoyed. The noodles were thin and slightly firm. They matched well with the miso broth. The sweet miso flavor made it easy to eat. The shop is a bit far, but it's nice to see a new place open up. The name is "Tenjiku," but there was no Indian influence in the menu. I wonder if the owner is a fan of "Journey to the West." I'll visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal.
