At the end of the year, a female friend joined our cousin drinking party, making it a group of three. Since all three of us love singing, we decided to go to a karaoke bar for the next stop. It was the first time for us three to drink together. We bought some alcohol and snacks from a convenience store and entered the karaoke bar for a planned two-hour session. We were all enjoying singing and savoring the snacks, but after about an hour, I must have been tired from the year-end activities and ended up falling asleep. Later on, our cousin went to the convenience store to buy more drinks and snacks, and we ended up extending our time multiple times, singing for a total of four hours. I was unusually (or maybe not so unusually) fast asleep until it was time to go home... I wish I had been able to sing too.

I have had the opportunity to go karaoke with various people, but I feel like I am in a state of isolation. I can log in and see the songs I have sung in the past, change my avatar, and even bring my own songs. I can order drinks at the store, but the highballs are not very appealing for the price. I prefer to bring my own drinks like sparkling wine, highballs, and Zima, with Niagara being my recent favorite. The snacks are hit or miss, but having them available is reassuring. Thank you for the payment. Sometimes I drink and sing too much, and before I know it, it's 5:30 in the morning. After a short nap, I head to a ramen shop to cure my hangover.

Maneki vs. cold. Cold wins. I visited here only because it was the closest place and it was cold. I always pass by the front of the store, but this time I decided to go in for the first time. The staff confirmed which plan would be the most advantageous for me. They were very professional, especially the women. Thank you. I chose the 3-hour all-you-can-drink plan for 2,000 yen (excluding beer and sake). The milk-based drinks were surprisingly strong in flavor, but the highballs were weak. The service was incredibly fast. Thank you for the meal. When they place the glass down, they do it with a loud "thud." It's a little bit intriguing.

Today, I spontaneously went to karaoke and had a great time! It was my first time at Manekineko, and I liked the free and relaxed atmosphere. They allow you to bring your own drinks, but I opted for the 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The place seemed a bit run-down, but I guess that's expected for an old establishment in Susukino. The prices were reasonable, so I didn't mind. Singing karaoke really helped me relieve stress. The food, especially the Tamane-ko set, was surprisingly delicious. I will definitely come back to Manekineko when I visit Susukino again!

The eldest daughter, who is not related by blood, kept saying "Maneki Neko, Maneki Neko" loudly. I pretended to be drunk, but even after repeatedly calling "Maneki Neko, Maneki Neko," she didn't bite... It's not just because she's young, I think. If it were me, I would end up covered in blood and have mouth sores the next day... I had mentioned how amazing Yamazaki's song is, so she probably wanted to hear Yamazaki's song. She probably wanted to sing it herself too... But she probably has completely forgotten about saying such things. I wonder if she even remembers singing the song? When I asked her later, she clearly said, "I remember." So she is more reliable than she looks... I had to wait for about 10 minutes. Once I was seated, she sang for two hours straight while drinking non-stop. Even though everyone sang about five songs each, right? Yamazaki's songs are truly mysterious. He must be an alien. I thought his way of walking was strange, but he has two knees... His head may be balding, but he has antennae... Do we really need the balding information? Sometimes he looks back, but he can rotate 360 degrees. Everyone should be watching, but for some reason, they're pretending not to see... Peach-chan sings really well~ The eldest daughter is drunk, but Yamazaki seems to respond a lot to her singing of the "Maneki Neko Theme Song"... It was a pleasant two hours of singing. Let's sing again next time. Thank you very much. You drank quite a bit, huh? I was charged almost 3,000 yen per person. It was a fun and enjoyable time.

This is the third place we visited, and we decided to lift our spirits by opting for a 2-hour session with all-you-can-drink drinks included. The spacious karaoke room was comfortable, but the quality of the drinks was a bit disappointing. This seems to be a common issue at other karaoke places as well. Drinks with cassis base were a bit hard to drink, and the taste of beer was not only bitter but also lingered. I heard for the first time the theme song of the beckoning cat, sung by Rilakkuma, called "Genki Dashite Ko-Ka." The lyrics were quite impactful. Each person took turns singing continuously, and after each song, the accompaniment ended sharply, allowing for a smooth transition to the next song. ☆☆☆ Preview for the next visit ☆☆☆ I feel like whenever we go to multiple places in one night, we always end up stopping by a karaoke place.
