Ah, Himiko, Ah, Himiko ♬ Himiko-sama! I came here with the energetic vibe of Hiking Walking Suzuki Q-Taro, but... wait, this is not Himiko, right? Haha, the staff at the restaurant told My Reviewer that. It's Susukino Nikujiru Gyoza Kobo Himiko. On Hot Pepper, it's listed as Yakitori and Gyoza all-you-can-eat at Gyoza Yokocho Himiko. However, there is no "Himiko" in sight here. So, I tried the Choisake set with a luxurious brand of Japanese sake included, which was advertised on Hot Pepper. But to my surprise, it was only available until 6 pm. And the fact that it was set up for a drinking party also caught me off guard... So, since it was still early for the first round, I ended up ordering individual items. Although the all-you-can-eat Yakitori and Gyoza deal sounded interesting, the main event for today was yet to come. The atmosphere inside the restaurant and other aspects left much to be desired, so there was no need to linger. Asahi Super Dry was my choice of draft beer, and some reviewers had issues with the foam, but I found it creamy and enjoyable, although there was a metallic taste that made it a bit hard to drink, making me wonder about the server maintenance. The appetizer was a standard dish of hijiki and gyoza, which I tried both boiled and pan-fried. The chili oil and vinegar were a bit hard to find, and it seemed like a self-serve system. The gyoza had a typical taste, nothing outstanding. The soup gyoza felt overcooked and mushy.
