"Sapporo's various stores have been followed by the opening of 'Shichirin Yakiniku An An' in Asahikawa in December last year. In February, they also opened in Eniwa. Lunch seems to be a good deal, but I couldn't make it, so I visited at night. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with table seats and sunken kotatsu-style seats lined up. The seats are separated from the neighboring ones, which is convenient for the current situation. There are various drinks available, including all-you-can-drink, but since I was driving, I enjoyed the yakiniku with just food. Orders are placed using a touch panel. I ordered the 'An An Kalbi' (290 yen), 'Negi Shio Butatan' (390 yen), 'Onion' (190 yen), 'Rice - Medium' (230 yen), and 'Drink Bar' (380 yen). I brought back 'Oolong tea' from the drink bar, and the ordered items arrived one after another. The staff lit the shichirin for us. Let the yakiniku begin! An An Kalbi... Looking at the menu, there are more expensive kalbi options, but this seems to be the 'specialty' of this restaurant. For 290 yen, it was surprisingly delicious. The sauce on the table is a bit sweet, but there is also a spicy miso, so I was satisfied. Negi Shio Butatan... It's just ordinary Butatan, but it was nice that it came with plenty of green onions. It seems to be good with lemon squeezed on top (well, it's a matter of preference, haha). I feel like eating something else... (laughs) I want to have Genghis Khan for the first time in a while. 'Seasoned Genghis Khan' (390 yen)... The amount on the plate may seem a bit small, but when you put it on the shichirin, it's not that little. Considering the price of 390 yen, it's a sufficient amount. The seasoning is slightly sweet, but not enough to be a concern. I also ordered 'Aona Namul' (250 yen). It's a good side dish to take a break from the yakiniku. It's not a place where you'd say 'I was amazed by the food!' because it's a reasonably priced yakiniku restaurant, but I was quite satisfied."
