I went to the restaurant "Nikujiruya" in Shinbashi, where you can immerse yourself in raw lamb. First, we toasted with draft beer! Without hesitation, we ordered the "Raw Lamb 5-piece Assortment". However, with only one chef handling all the meat dishes, it took a while for our order to arrive, especially during busy hours. The assortment included "Raw Lamb", "Genghis Khan", "Roast", "Fillet", and "Sirloin", with each portion being two slices per person. If you are interested in trying other items, even sharing one portion between two people would be enough. The meat is grilled on a charcoal brazier, each cut having its own unique flavor and delicious taste. Although the chef recommended rare, you can cook it to your preference at your own risk. We also ordered "Raw Lamb Tataki", "Raw Lamb Chops", and the "Lamb Fried Rice" for the finishing touch. Ordering the fried rice at this timing was the right choice as it arrived just in time for the end. The lamb chops were seared by the chef and then cut into bite-sized pieces, which were simply delicious! The fried rice was flavorful with chunks of lamb and a mix of spices like cilantro, cumin, and sesame. It may leave a unique scent on your belongings, so be prepared (put your jacket or bag in a large plastic bag). Overall, the satisfaction of indulging in lamb at this restaurant was beyond expectations.

Visited a Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant in Shinbashi based on a friend's recommendation. The interior of the restaurant was a bit cramped, with tables close together and separated by acrylic boards. The lamb meat had no gamey taste and was delicious. I recommend trying the lamb chops and Genghis Khan dish. The sauce was a bit on the mild side. The restaurant was quite smoky, so the smell might stick to your clothes. Although I didn't drink much, the cost was around 6,000 yen per person, which didn't seem very cost-effective. Overall, I recommend this place if you're craving lamb.

I went there twice and the Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) is delicious. I tried various foods in Sapporo, but this place is so good that I don't need to eat Genghis Khan anywhere else in Sapporo. The meat is cut after you order, which is a great point. It's nice that you can get free refills of bean sprouts, although there are no other grilled vegetables. There are various menu options, but I think sticking to the raw lamb is the best choice. After eating and drinking a lot, it cost a little over 6000 yen per person. It's wonderful. I will definitely visit again!

It's probably the best Genghis Khan in Tokyo overall. I want to go back soon! You can choose from various cuts of meat and they also have assorted platters. It's nice that they serve Sapporo beer. The chef inside seems like a real pro, and the deliciousness is convincing. I'll definitely go back again, I want to try a different appetizer next time. I forgot to take a photo~ (tears)

The lamb meat here is really delicious! I had raw lamb, raw fillet, and Genghis Khan. They have no strong taste and you can eat them easily. They have counter seats and table seats. This time, I sat at the counter which was a bit narrow, but the taste of the meat was outstanding!

Visited at 17:50 on a weekday, with a reservation. We ordered lamb dishes a la carte with our Tokyo office members. The meat was served rare, ensuring freshness. The lamb was incredibly tender and delicious, possibly the best I've had. It was a nice touch that the staff would cut the T-bone before serving. The restaurant, although small like many in Shinbashi, was understandably popular due to the tasty food. I would definitely come back if given the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't know how to order, so I asked the staff for advice. They recommended ordering individual items instead of a set, so I followed their suggestion. The portions were decent and enjoyable, and every part was delicious.

There are no photos of the dishes for this restaurant review. The interior is cozy with a laid-back atmosphere. The recommended dishes for the day were raw lamb, raw fillet, and raw lamb chops. The raw lamb was thick and had no strong taste, making it easy to eat as much as you want. The raw fillet was delicious but lacked the traditional Genghis Khan flavor, leaving it a bit unsatisfying. The raw lamb chops were partially cooked and then finished by the staff, but I also felt like just biting into them... There are plenty of other menu options such as lamb tongue, making this a versatile restaurant that you can visit regularly.

Second visit. Fourth time here, but they have lamb now. The meat is not smelly, and the sauce with cumin and garlic is so delicious that you can keep eating endlessly! Good cost performance and a great restaurant. This time, the fire was weak, and even when we tried to make it stronger, they put aluminum foil in the air adjustment hole. Thank you for the meal!

I recommend the raw lamb and tataki here. They are satisfying to eat, without any unpleasant smell, and easy to eat, so much so that you might overeat and feel like your stomach will burst on the way home. The restaurant is small and smoky, so it may not be suitable for those who dislike such environments, but the meat is delicious, so it's a place I want you to visit.

I finally managed to visit this restaurant in Shinbashi that I had missed out on before due to timing issues. It's a bit tricky to get a table for one and not be able to try a variety of dishes, but luckily I got a spot this time. They specialize in charcoal-grilled Genghis Khan lamb. The bean sprouts served as an appetizer were delicious and you can ask for refills. We ordered two servings of raw Genghis Khan lamb, fillet, and lamb chops, along with a kimchi assortment for a palate cleanser. We paired the meal with cold beer, which is a perfect match for grilled meat. The meat was incredibly tender and tasty without any strong flavors. The diced fillet was like a steak, and the lamb chops were lightly grilled before being served, giving them a nice texture. We also ordered cartilage and lamb sashimi to complete our meal. The bean sprouts in between the meat were a nice touch. We switched from beer to a large highball and enjoyed a leisurely meal until it was time to leave. It's definitely a popular spot, so making a reservation is recommended. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

I decided to go out with my colleague to find a place to eat meat. We were considering yakiniku, shabu-shabu, or steak. Hmm, not a bad idea, but it seems a bit lacking in variety. So, we wanted to challenge ourselves and try something new. After some consideration, we chose "Sheep Charcoal Grill Nikujuya" in Shinbashi. It had been a while since we had eaten lamb, so it seemed like a good choice. We arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time. The place was already crowded and lively with customers. "Please put your jackets and belongings in the plastic bags under the table to reduce the smell of smoke." Indeed, the smoke from the lamb being grilled by the other customers was filling the restaurant. Since I wasn't wearing a jacket, I just put my belongings in the plastic bag and started the feast. "Our recommendation is the raw lamb here." "Okay, we'll have the raw lamb for the number of people. And also, one raw beer per person." We started with a toast with beer. Cold beer in the middle of summer is delicious! Before the meat arrived, I finished my first beer and moved on to the second one. "Here you go, the raw lamb. Please grill both sides for 30 seconds each and enjoy it rare inside." I see. So that's why it's called raw lamb. As instructed, I lightly seared the surface before eating. Wow, it's delicious! I really like lamb. I realized that once again, haha. The slightly marbled lamb meat tasted sweet when eaten rare. It was as delicious as, if not better than, beef yakiniku. I noticed a menu item that caught my eye. What would a "T-bone steak" be like? "Excuse me, is the T-bone steak also lamb?" "Yes, all the meats on the menu are lamb. The T-bone steak has the fillet and sirloin on both sides of the bone, similar to beef. After grilling both sides over charcoal, we cut it in the kitchen and bring it back to you. Please sear the surface again before eating." "Oh, then I'll have the T-bone steak, please." After the explanation, there was no choice but to try it. And it looked delicious. After a while, a large piece of bone-in meat was brought to the table. I grilled it on the hot plate as instructed. When it was ready, the staff took the bone-in meat to the kitchen. Then, they brought it back to the table with cuts for easy eating. It was a fun and hearty meal. It felt like time flew by quickly during the enjoyable feast. After two hours, our time was up. It was a short but exciting lamb festival. Since there were customers waiting for a table, we promptly left. Thank you for the meal!

For some reason, I always crave Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) in the summer, so I went to this restaurant. We ordered raw lamb for 880 yen, Genghis Khan for 880 yen, raw fillet for 1500 yen, raw lamb chop, raw lamb sashimi for 1200 yen, lean loin for 850 yen, and lamb fried rice for 780 yen. Everything was delicious, but the raw fillet and raw lamb chop were especially tasty. The taste was impeccable, even better than famous restaurants in Hokkaido. The cost performance was good, and it didn't exceed 6000 yen per person. I don't recommend going in the summer because the air conditioning doesn't work well, and you end up eating while sweating a lot. If not for this, I would have given it 4 stars, but it's a shame. Also, the restaurant is small, so the limit is up to 4 people per group. The taste was wonderful, so I would like to go again choosing the right time.

The lamb dish was fantastic. The usual smell of lamb that Japanese people don't like has been completely removed during preparation, making it very easy to eat like regular meat. Even those who are sensitive to the smell can enjoy the natural flavor of the lamb. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also perfect for after work, so stop by for a drink and some lamb meat.

The drinks were large, and there was plenty of meat at a great cost performance! Next time, I want to try the lamb chops too! The prosciutto was delicious! It's the best feeling to be able to eat a lot of food without feeling guilty, right? I definitely want to go back again!

I visited this place to kick off my business trip. The highlight here is definitely the fresh lamb, also known as raw lamb. The cooking is kept minimal to enjoy the raw meat juices. When you dip it in the special sauce with plenty of cumin and take a bite, the aroma and juices of the lamb spread in your mouth. The lamb sashimi is also fresh and highly recommended. This is a place where you can always feel energized after visiting.

I made a reservation and visited on a Saturday night. The signature dish, raw lamb, was incredibly fresh and tender with no gamey taste at all. The meat was so mild in flavor that it was hard to tell what kind of meat it was. The lamb chops were also easy to eat without any strong flavors. They also had other rare menu items like T-bone steak and lamb sashimi that are hard to find in Tokyo. I later found out that this restaurant is related to Horumon Dan in Shinbashi, which explains their reputation for freshness. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It's great with salt, or with a sauce infused with cumin. Adding cumin and coarse ground chili to the sauce is also delicious! I want to eat it again!

Visited the restaurant in Shinbashi around 9 p.m. on Friday. Ordered a large portion of rice, draft beer, and a platter of lamb cuts due to the fatigue and hunger from the week. Started with a toast with beer. The aroma of malt wafted through the nose, and the alcohol soaked into the empty stomach. Soon, the meaty lamb arrived as shown in the photo. While listening to the waiter's explanation of the cuts, I pondered the order in which to grill them. As soon as the explanation ended, the tongs reached for the lamb. I forgot my planned grilling order and just placed them on the grill. The unique aroma of lamb tickled the nostrils, stimulating the appetite. The waiter said they were fresh, so 30 seconds on each side would be enough. A total of 1 minute. It felt like an eternity. Watching the lamb change color due to the Maillard reaction, I reminisced about days gone by. The image of a grassy meadow bathed in sunlight appeared in my mind's eye. The fresh breeze blew, and the greenery illuminated by the sun was dazzling. A flock of sheep chased by sheepdogs surged forward. "Beautiful." Those words slipped out unconsciously, as if a reflex action. Perhaps it was a sense of gratitude and awe towards the sheep. Sheep provide us with many blessings in our lives. Sheep meat is delicious, but sheep wool is also an essential material for our daily lives. It has been used for clothing and carpets since ancient times, and in Mongolia, felt made of sheep wool is used for the roofs of their nomadic homes called gers. It is no exaggeration to say that sheep dedicate themselves to all aspects of our lives, from clothing to food and shelter. Such a devoted sheep. The more I think about it, the more love overflows. I started to feel a bit uneasy about eating. However, the feeling of hunger only grew stronger. How do people in countries that live alongside sheep while eating their meat reconcile such feelings? They must surely pay the utmost respect and gratitude. In Japan, there is a wonderful phrase that expresses this. I clasped my hands together and whispered, "Itadakimasu." It felt as if the sheep running on the grasslands were smiling at me. ★What I ate★ - Assorted raw lamb cuts for 3 people - Tataki (seared lamb) - Lamb and coriander salad - Large portion of rice - Draft beer - Lemon sour Everything was delicious! However, I was disappointed that the lamb tongue was sold out and I couldn't try it. Next time, I will make a reservation earlier!

Due to a typhoon approaching and heavy rain, I was able to dine in at this popular restaurant with a last-minute reservation. They served a mild-flavored raw lamb dish, which I believe is one of the best in Shinbashi. Despite being reasonably priced, you can eat a lot, making it a great value for money.
