Opened on December 6, 2019... The Kitasaito store, which is scheduled to move right next to the hospital near the rotary, has caught my eye while I was on my way to external work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, or heading towards the south exit of Asahikawa Station. I had been watching it since the construction phase. I had thought it looked "small" from the outside, and I wondered why they didn't make it a two-story building like the Kushiro store, which I like the view from the second-floor balcony. However, today, after entering, I was convinced. This is good as it is. The proximity to the JR Hokkaido viaduct and the Asahikawa Electric Railway bus waiting area, as well as the distance to the river behind, make it a soothing space that is not affected by the noise of trains or the flow of wind. I immediately liked it. The system of 1.5 hours free parking is good. Recently, even hospitals have started using Times. The parking lot is spacious, with only 9 cars parked today. The 6 cars lined up near the entrance of the store are probably because it's easier to line up. The walls are angled, making it a bit confusing as to where to park. Inside the store, apart from the staff of the AEON Mall Asahikawa Station store, there are 5 new members who seem to have been newly hired for this place, working at the open counter. The timing of the "welcome" greeting and the smiles are still in the practice stage. There are 6 two-seater round tables on the viaduct side (parking lot side). There are tables with power outlets for 8 seats. Five seats are already in use and it feels cramped. There are 4 counter seats next to the open counter, where you can see the staff working. There is already one customer at the edge. I'll sit here today. Towards the river at the back of the store, there are 10 two-seater tables and 2 one-seater tables. The 6 tables near the window are waist-high tables, so if you want to do office work, you can choose the 4 tables right behind the open counter or the table behind me with power outlets. The 1.5 hours free parking is very convenient. It's a bit far from the station to walk. I wonder how the flow of people will change after the hospital is built. The current business hours are from 8:00 to 22:00. Oh, by the way, they didn't add a drive-thru like the Starbucks on the Ring Road (Higashimitsu store) here. There are 62 seats plus a few more... There are about 25 customers coming and going. The movement of people is more dynamic than on the Ring Road. Indeed, the Seattle-style atmosphere suits the cityscape with rivers and seas. Thank you for the meal! I only stayed for about 40 minutes, but I will come back. Uh, it's a bit tricky to get out onto the road from the parking lot...
