After refreshing at the sauna and going out for a bit, I visited a restaurant I haven't been to in years - Sekai no Yamachan Susukino Minami 3-jo store. This place is famous for their tebasaki (chicken wings). When I tried to open the wooden sliding door at the entrance, it turned out to be automatic. I was asked about smoking, and when I mentioned I use an electronic cigarette, I was led to a small raised seating area in the back... but there were no ashtrays. I ordered a Super Lemon Sour for ¥450 and noticed that the menu had changed since my last visit. It's been a few years after all. I placed my order using the call button. The Tebasaki (5 pieces) for ¥530 were as delicious as ever! The crispy fried chicken wings with pepper seasoning are irresistible! As I enjoyed my meal, I ordered another Super Lemon Sour. The Secret Black Tebasaki (2 pieces) for ¥320 were seasoned with sweet red miso. They were less crispy compared to the Tebasaki but still flavorful. The Hotaruika sashimi was a first for me, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Shirasu Tofu had smooth tofu and was tasty. The Mentaiko Mayo Dashimaki Tamago for ¥592 was sweet and fluffy, with plenty of spicy cod roe mayo inside. Just when I thought I couldn't eat anymore, I ordered more. I got the Yamachan Sour for ¥390 and the Namida Meshi (tear rice) for ¥330. Another serving of the Tebasaki was a must-have. The Yamachan Sour had 6 types of citrus, but I couldn't quite figure out the flavors. The Namida Meshi had grated and paste wasabi that really cleared my sinuses! It made me cough a bit, but in a good way. The Tebasaki was best enjoyed piping hot! Overall, I was stuffed. It had been a few years, but the Tebasaki was still as addictive as ever!

I went to a B'z live in Sapporo. I headed out from the hotel to Susukino, but it was 35 degrees that day. The first place I looked up for chicken wings was far away and full! By this point, I had been walking for 30 minutes. When I checked the navigation for the second place, the building was not there. A chain restaurant for skewers was also full. After being rejected by four places and feeling dehydrated and exhausted from the heat, I asked at Yamachan, and they said, "We can offer a table for two with a 2-hour limit and an electronic cigarette area." It was really crowded. Even though it was a smoking area, there were no people smoking, considering the current situation. The all-you-can-drink option was around 1500 yen, but I didn't have the confidence to walk back to the hotel feeling dehydrated, so I opted for ordering individual items. It was my first time trying Yamachan's chicken wings. I ordered them with the "basic spiciness." The first one wasn't spicy, but the second one was "spicy (with black pepper)!" It was around 550 yen for 5 pieces. My husband ordered some dumplings, and the sauce that came with them was a "vinegar and black pepper" sauce. The chicken wings and dumplings were flavorful, and my husband said, "The flavor is strong, dangerous for drinking." We ate quickly, went back, and continued drinking at the hotel.

A shop located 2-3 minutes walk from Toyohira Susukino Station. It is also within walking distance from Susukino Station. You may not need to go all the way to Sapporo for sightseeing, but it is a highly recommended shop for locals! The prices are similar to those in Nagoya, and you can enjoy authentic tebasaki (chicken wings). They also offer Taiwanese and Nagoya-style dishes. The taste is impeccable. Located on the north side of Toyosui Susukino Station, this restaurant serves Nagoya-style dishes that some people love and some people hate. Personally, I enjoy it. Besides the chicken wings, they have a wide variety of izakaya menu items. The chicken wings weren't juicy, but the seasoning and crispiness were excellent and delicious. My two male friends had dessert. The staff was friendly, and I would love to come back for the all-you-can-drink option. Thank you for the meal. Originally, we planned to go to two places, but ended up doing a five-bar crawl. I got home at 5 am and had to wake up at 7 am for work. I visited Sapporo's Yamachan for the first time. There is only one World Yamachan in Hokkaido, right near the Susukino No.1 exit on the Toho Line. Since I'm from Nagoya, I prefer the strong flavor of Yamachan's chicken wings. They go amazingly well with beer. Personally, if you want to eat chicken wings in Sapporo, this is the place to go. The saltiness is a bit strong, so if you don't like that, maybe try another chicken wing place! I hope they open more branches in Hokkaido.

The miso sauce was also delicious, but I think it would be a bit too heavy if you had it all, so I think it was a good decision to have only one. The shrimp tempura musubi was small in size, but it was just right as a snack. However, after watching "Gaia's Dawn" the other day and seeing this restaurant featured for their business reform, I decided to visit. The "Sekai no Yamachan Susukino Minami Sanjo-ten" restaurant. Emergency state of emergency, so alcohol cannot be consumed at izakaya. I think it must be very difficult to operate. When you open the entrance to the store, nostalgic memories come back. You go down the stairs and are greeted by a bright "Welcome!" from the female staff who escorted me to my seat. Looking at the menu, I first ordered drinks: Oolong tea - 286 yen, Coca-Cola - 286 yen. For snacks, I ordered: Phantom chicken wings - 528 yen, Homemade potato salad - 495 yen, Teppan Napolitan - 748 yen, Yamachan croquette - 462 yen. I also added Takaga no Morimizu - 122 yen, additional Phantom chicken wings - 528 yen, Teppan Tamasen - 638 yen, Medium-sized curry rice - 638 yen, additional Takaga no Morimizu - 122 yen. The total payment including tax was 4,853 yen. The Phantom chicken wings now come with the option of choosing the level of spiciness, including no pepper. I asked the staff, and they mentioned that this is to encourage family visits. As seen on TV, the chicken wings were served within 5 minutes of ordering, even the additional ones. Previously, there were times when it took too long for the additional orders to be served, and it sometimes led to a loss of appetite. But now, I think it will be fine! I enjoyed the izakaya menu and had a satisfying meal. Once the state of emergency is lifted, I would love to toast with beer and Phantom chicken wings. I will definitely revisit. While the chef, who looked young, continued cooking, a customer who ordered takeout received their food first and left after paying. Why were the dine-in customers put on hold? It was my second stop of the night, before 8 pm, and the place was crowded with a lot of customers. There were four of us, so we were seated in the back room. We started with a drink all-you-can-eat deal including draft beer for 1480 yen! Since we had been holding back at the first place, we decided to order some food. We had: - "Phantom" chicken wings (2 servings) with a sweet and spicy sauce and strong pepper seasoning, perfect with beer! - Taiwanese ramen toppings, a local specialty in Nagoya, with bean sprouts, leeks, and minced meat stir-fried in a spicy sauce, delicious and crunchy! - Rolled omelette with plenty of filling, maybe a bit too much - Fried red sausages, a nostalgic taste - Crispy and hot ham cutlet, the thin sliced ham was great - Potato salad, pretty standard - Boiled peanuts, soft and sweet with a hint of saltiness, goes well with beer! Located in Sapporo, on Minami 4 Nishi 1 facing west. I think this is my first visit to this restaurant, although I vaguely remember there used to be more branches in Sapporo. Now, this is the only branch in Sapporo (Hokkaido). I have a memory of eating here a long time ago and finding the chicken wings small and spicy. I visited this time because I wanted to try the garlic fried rice, which I believe is a specialty from Nagoya. I started with a bottle of Asahi Super Dry beer. I ordered the chicken wings, garlic fried rice, and also the miso cutlet. I asked for the chicken wings to be less spicy. The chicken wings were indeed small as I remembered. They were easy to eat and the sauce was not bad, but compared to "Kii" or "Te-baya", they were lacking in appearance. Then, the garlic fried rice, my main dish, arrived. The smell of garlic was excellent, but unfortunately, it was very soft. It was so soft that for a moment, I thought it was like rice porridge. Hmm, in Sapporo, there are not many options for garlic fried rice, so my expectations were quite high, making the disappointment even greater. Two orders of chicken wings, pickled vegetables, and miso-flavored motsu nabe for two, please. The chicken wings are the familiar peppery flavor. It's spicy, so it goes well with beer. The slightly sweet soup of the small motsu nabe is delicious. It's probably based on red miso to make it easy for everyone to eat, but this is a taste I wouldn't make myself, so it's good. Eating out should be like this. The soup was much more enjoyable than I thought, so let's also order champon noodles. The cabbage is soft, and the noodles are smooth and delicious!
