There was a shop underground on the south side of Daito Park, and it seemed to be popular with smokers. Although I don't smoke and am not fond of smoke, I felt a nostalgic atmosphere. During lunchtime, they served fresh pasta. I had the Bolognese with fresh pasta, which had a chewy texture and was delicious. The coffee had a traditional taste that smokers would probably enjoy. There are seats with outlets, making it a comfortable place to hang out. For those who don't mind smoke, it might feel like a hidden gem and worth recommending.

It used to be a café called Lawson, quite spacious but cozy with a daily cake set. The Double Cheese Cake comes with whipped cream, making the sweetness mild. On top of that, there was a cute rabbit made of black chocolate (first time seeing it). The ice coffee at the TV Tower branch is rich and delicious. They use the same beans, but maybe they grind them coarsely? It's a hidden gem!

On a certain weekday, after work, I decided to stop by a relatively new café located in the basement of a building in Chuo Ward, Odori Nishi 2-chome. It used to be a cool coffee shop before, and now it's called Miyanomori Coffee. You have to pass through the famous sandwich shop next to the 19th exit from the underground to enter the neighboring building's basement where the café is located. The interior seems to be mostly the same as the previous coffee shop, with a layout of tables and smoking allowed in all seats. They play cool jazz music as background. I decided to try the cake set which includes a milk crepe cake and an iced coffee. The milk crepe cake looked fancy with caramel sauce, rich cream, and berry sauce, and the layers were thicker than usual, giving it a strong flavor. The iced coffee was also strong and had a deep bitterness that was enjoyable to sip slowly. Overall, it was a nice experience visiting this café. Thank you for the meal.

"Miyanomori Coffee" has opened in Odori West 2-chome... Despite having a store underground right next to the TV Tower, the restaurant industry is declining due to the pandemic, yet companies with financial resources are expanding their stores by securing prime locations. Along Nanodori Street, in the "Toukan Building" B1F... Going down a narrow staircase, it seems to be a former restaurant location. The cozy interior is surprisingly spacious with a capacity of around 50. There were two groups of two customers each, and two young female staff members greeted us, saying "Please choose any seat you like" and we sat at a table in the back. This month's coffee is "Guatemala @605," so I decided to try that. After grinding and brewing, it was served in a cup with the "Miyanomori Coffee" logo. The coffee here is always good, they make it well, but it's expensive and a bit too standard. It's good, but overpriced... Anyway, I might visit again, maybe to try their food for the first time, like the Napolitan or curry. I'm not sure, but are they tasty? Sorry for the vague review, thank you for the meal."

Daily Cake Set Double Cheesecake Cute cheesecake with sweet whipped cream to balance out the sweetness. Stopped by on my way back from the hospital. It's nice to be able to relax here while smoking a cigarette.

I love the omurice and curry at this place because they offer an omurice curry set. The egg isn't too runny, and the curry isn't too spicy.
