The set meal for 1470 yen is a great deal. The sashimi is top quality. The flounder tempura and simmered dish are also delicious. I want to try going at night as well.

My elderly mother and I made a reservation and requested seating with chairs as my mother has difficulty walking. We were seated in a private room with sliding doors, and we were provided with chairs as requested. We ordered the sashimi and tempura set meal (2700 yen), which had so many items that we couldn't finish them all. The food was delicious. When we had trouble finding a taxi outside the restaurant, the owner, who also seemed to be the chef, kindly offered to drive us back. I was deeply moved by the warmth and hospitality of the locals. I will definitely visit again.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. It is located in a good area, so I often passed by the front of the store. I went for lunch. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the store, and a few more can be parked in the back. This time, it was around 1 o'clock and the front of the store was empty, so I parked there. Inside the store, there were about 5 counter seats and a few private rooms. It might be good for gatherings with friends. The private rooms were almost full, I think. We didn't make a reservation, but we were able to get in around 1 o'clock. There are various lunch options, and this time I ordered the value set of deep-fried tofu. The deep-fried tofu seemed to be the least cost-effective, but I like deep-fried tofu, so I ordered it. It arrived shortly after. It included chawanmushi, sashimi, simmered hijiki, pickles, deep-fried tofu, rice, and miso soup. Oh, you can have seconds of rice. The taste was... well, just average, I guess? The tiramisu dessert was frozen solid. The taste was disappointing, like a frozen one. Coffee was self-service until 2 o'clock, but the coffee pot was empty so I couldn't have any. Hmm, I probably won't come back next time... Thank you for the meal.

I went to have lunch with a client who came from Sapporo. The restaurant had parking space for 2 cars in front and about 8 cars in the back. Inside, there was a sushi counter and a few private rooms with space for 6-8 people each, which could be combined for larger parties. I ordered the Crab Rice Set (1550 yen) from the set menu. The meal included crab rice, soba noodles, chawanmushi, salad, and pickles, all beautifully presented. The crab rice had shredded crab seasoned with egg and shiitake mushrooms on top. The flavors were subtle, which may appeal to those who prefer lighter dishes. While the rice seemed plain, the chawanmushi was delicious. Overall, I left feeling slightly unsatisfied, but I would be interested in returning for dinner to try other dishes. However, the prices may be a bit high for a regular izakaya experience. It seems more like a place for kaiseki or traditional Japanese dining.

There is a private room in a tatami mat style, so it seems suitable for banquets. The all-you-can-drink beer is served in bottles. The soft drink tea comes in small bottles (which is a bit questionable). The course costs 4500 yen for 2 hours of all-you-can-drink, and the amount of food is sufficient. The course includes appetizers, sashimi, a small pot of meat, simmered dish, grilled fish, and about 5 pieces of sushi. The taste is average, and the presentation is also average. There is no effort to make it special or original, but it is safe enough that no one would dislike it, making it suitable for gatherings in that sense.

There is a shop in Nagawa-cho that has been around for quite some time. I visited about 10 years ago for lunch. We ordered a sushi assortment for three people and two servings of skewers. It seems that the prices have gone up recently compared to what is posted on MyPlate, but they were considerate and added extras like beef tongue as a service. The creamy chawanmushi was delicious and of high quality.
