I had always been mispronouncing "Hanatomo" as "Hanatomo-e," but the bartender kindly corrected me. It turns out "Hanatomo" means flower and circle. But it's delicious, so it's okay. We ordered scallops grilled with seaweed, sea urchin, potato, crab miso, fresh karasumi, pickled turnips, fried corn, ginger pork rolls with shiso leaves.
