I was taken to this place by a friend, and I've always wanted to come here. When you enter, it's a traditional bar with just a counter. The lighting is just right, not too dark. The wall of alcohol is impressive, so lovely! Furthermore, I was taken to a private room in the back that only introduced people can enter. In here, there are plenty of whiskies! For some reason, private rooms always get me excited. The various glasses lined up are also lovely. I had a slightly unusual whisky chosen for me, and I asked for the second most expensive whisky in the bar to be made into a highball. It had a good mouthfeel and a refreshing taste. Delicious and easy to drink. Looking back, I should have had it on the rocks... There is no menu, you just tell them your preference and they will make it for you. For my second drink, I asked for something not sweet. It was served in a wine glass with crème de cassis swirled around. The way they swirled it was so beautiful, I was mesmerized. After adding white wine, a not sweet kir was complete. The wine was easy to drink with an elegant taste. The drinks enjoyed in this wonderful atmosphere were amazing. I had been away from my seat for a long time, but my drink, the charm, was served on time when I returned, which made me happy. The main store is in Kumamoto, and there are also branches in Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Ginza. I want to conquer them all! The Sapporo store opened in 2015, so this year marks its 5th anniversary. I later found out that the whisky I had was The Glenlivet Single Cask, one of 340 bottles limited to Japan in 2018. It was the most expensive whisky I've ever had. I'll consider it my birthday present for this year... Spending time in this authentic and lovely bar was priceless, an extremely high-quality moment. Lately, things haven't been going well, but this space made me forget about it all. I wonder if I can go again. Next time, I want to try the Glenlivet Single Cask 2019 and 2020. I also want to try their cocktails. I'm grateful to the gentleman who took me there. Thank you. It was a feast. Thank you.
