This is a national chain bento shop. I had it delivered by Uber this time. I chose the grilled mackerel bento and the nori tartar. Honestly, the quality of the content for this price is so great that I couldn't give it a low rating... The mackerel is moist and fragrant, and the side dishes are just right. The nori tartar also feels voluminous and packed with deliciousness. I am very satisfied with the high level of satisfaction. There is really nothing but deliciousness... I am definitely very satisfied with the rating! I will continue to use it again!

On January 26, 2019, I visited the "Hotto Motto" restaurant in Minami 6-jo and ordered the Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry Bento with extra rice for 540 yen, along with a Chicken Basket for 590 yen. I wanted to have a drink after work, but the restaurant was full. I then thought about having ramen instead, but another place I considered was closed due to a burst sewer pipe. Feeling hungry, I decided to go to "Hotto Motto" since I hadn't eaten anything all day. I ordered my favorite Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry with extra rice and added a Chicken Basket. I quickly went home to enjoy my meal while watching a recorded variety show. Sometimes, it's nice to just fill your stomach without drinking alcohol. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed my meal.

On November 25, 2018, Sunday, I wasn't in the mood for ramen to end the day. But I was feeling hungry. So, on my way home, I was drawn to this place. Yes! I was in the mood for curry rice, and I ordered a large portion. I also got a chicken basket as a side. I hurried home to eat right away! The spices that come with the curry rice are quite stimulating. And the chicken basket was perfect for munching while watching a rented DVD. Oh, the spice that comes with the chicken basket is unnecessary. In fact, I could probably eat two of these chicken baskets in one go. Thank you for the meal!

I used "Hotto Motto" for dinner for the first time in a while, so I'm posting a review. This store has a small waiting area, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance. I bought the "Special Nori Taru Bento (390 yen)." The fried food was crispy and freshly fried, with a decent amount of volume. I think this price (390 yen) is a good deal.

On July 24, 2018, I visited the Hotto Motto restaurant in Minami 6-jo and ordered the Niku Yasai Chahan Bento (large serving) for 550 yen, along with the Chicken Basket (10 pieces of karaage) for 590 yen. I always get hooked on their food quality. After having a drink, I got hungry again and ended up going back. I ordered my usual Niku Yasai Chahan Bento with extra rice. While looking at the menu, I found something interesting and decided to add it to my order - the Chicken Basket with 10 pieces of karaage. The Niku Yasai Chahan is a must-have! It may just be a simple dish, but it's so delicious. The Chicken Basket was a great deal and I ended up finishing it quickly while watching a recorded TV show. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

On 2018/07/22, I went to the Hotto Motto Minami 6-jo store and had the Stir-Fried Meat and Vegetables Bento with extra rice for 550 yen, along with a Beef Curry for 460 yen. It was amazing. I'm totally hooked because the Stir-Fried Meat and Vegetables Bento I had last time was delicious, so I had to order it again. Not satisfied with just that, I also ordered the Beef Curry separately. If only it was closer to my salon or home... Bam! This is it! The extra rice disappears in an instant, it's so powerful. Then comes the Beef Curry. Sprinkle the included spicy seasoning to your liking and enjoy. Simple and delicious. My eating habits are moving away from ramen, but don't worry, I still eat ramen too! Thank you for the meal.

On 2018/07/12/THU at Hotto Motto Minami 6-jo Store, I had the Meat and Vegetable Stir-Fry Bento with a large portion of rice for ¥550. I have a secret that I haven't told anyone... I absolutely love the Meat and Vegetable Stir-Fry Bento from Hotto Motto! It has a homemade feel to it, and it's just so delicious. The green edamame adds a nice touch to the dish. You have to get the large size rice to balance out the stir-fry. I can't resist it, I want to eat it again today. As I write this blog post, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On 2018/05/04, I went to Hotto Motto on Minami 6-jo and bought a ¥300 Noriben. I actually stopped by after going to Toripan. I was a bit hungry, so I decided to get something to eat at Hotto Motto. I purchased the Noriben for 300 yen and opened it at home. It had crispy fried white fish, chikuwa tempura, and a generous portion of kinpira gobou. It was delicious! Finally, my stomach was satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

However, there is a salad and drink corner on the right side, and if you order a bento, it's ready in about 3 minutes. They try to minimize the wait by having some pre-made items. I usually go for the "nori bento," but this time I decided to try the highly recommended salt-grilled mackerel bento. The two tiers make it feel a bit luxurious, with salted mackerel, one piece of fried chicken, one piece of tempura, and some pickles. Considering the 160 yen price difference from the "nori bento," it's worth a try. The mackerel, although not freshly grilled, is still juicy and flavorful, with a softer texture than expected. The fried chicken, crispy when freshly cooked, loses some of its tastiness when cold. The tempura is a bit soggy, as usual. It's better to have some pickled vegetables like takuan to finish the meal. The white rice is nicely cooked golden rice. Many locals call in advance to order and pick up, creating a good environment in the area. Thank you for the meal.

During this period, I decided to visit the "Hotto Motto Minami 6-jo Store" for lunch with my usual companion. This store is located in the Haku-no area of Chuo-ku, Sapporo, along Minami 6-jo Street near the old shopping street of Higashi Tonden-dori. The exact location of the store can be confirmed on Tabelog. We visited around 1 pm on a weekend. There were two customers before us, and no customers behind us. As planned, we ordered the 500 yen "Pork Cutlet Curry." We paid using a PayPay coupon to receive a 5% point back. After waiting for about 4 minutes, my companion received the meal. The "Pork Cutlet Curry" weighed approximately 500g (excluding the packaging) and was served on a bed of rice with a thick pork cutlet on top. The curry was mildly sweet without any spiciness, but it could be made spicier with the "Umakara Curry Spice" provided. There was also Fukujinzuke on the side. The price was 600 yen reduced to 500 yen (tax included) for the limited-time "Pork Cutlet Curry." For 500 yen, it was a decent pork cutlet curry. Personally, I prefer the pork cutlet curry from Seicomart, which is cooked at each store and priced at 590 yen. The quality of the pork cutlet and the curry are more to my liking there. Personally, I would prefer to go for the Seicomart's "Katsudon" priced at 590 yen, which is 10 yen cheaper. If it's 90 yen cheaper, I would choose the budget-friendly "Limited-time Pork Cutlet Curry for 500 yen." In the midst of price increases, I want to save money wherever possible as someone with a limited wallet. (laughs) Next time, I might try the "Limited-time Shanghai Seafood Bowl for 740 yen." After this, my schedule was packed and it seemed like I wouldn't have time to cook, so it's been about 10 years since I last purchased from here (laughs). There are so many menu options that it's hard to decide. In the end, I bought Karaage (fried chicken) a la carte, curry roux a la carte, and meat and vegetable stir-fry bento. The prices are really amazing. The taste was decent overall. The rice was especially delicious. Honestly, it's better than convenience store bento.
