"Royce" Royce is quite popular, so I often write about it here and there. It's a bit sneaky, but I can't help it. So even if there aren't many places that I haven't written about Royce, I didn't expect to find it at the Aeon mall in front of the station in Asahikawa. I'm here alone, which is rare for me. Being alone means I can order a little more freely. I've written a lot in my notes, but urban activities consume a lot of travel time, which seems like a waste. Still, today I planned to take it easy. Inside the mall, there was a Royce store. I was surprised that I hadn't written about it, but since I was here, I decided to look around to see if there was anything good. I searched on Tabelog and found that there were six stores that I hadn't written about. One of them was Royce, so I thought of buying something before going home. The store was empty, maybe the timing was just right. I'm frugal, so I can't bring myself to buy expensive chocolate. I prefer something cheap and delicious, like chocolate-coated potato chips. They are irresistibly delicious. The slight bitterness of the chocolate, combined with the texture and saltiness of the potato chips, is fantastic. It goes well with beer or even white wine. It's just so delicious.

I've been receiving more Royce' chocolates as souvenirs lately, especially this Hazelnut Cocoa Taste which was delicious! I couldn't resist eating it all at once. This year, I happened to have a drinking party on Valentine's Day and gave out a little, so I got a return gift too♪ In the store, there were lines for both Valentine's Day and White Day during that time. The other day, I bought a bread with chocolate bar inside at New Chitose Airport, and since then I wanted to eat Royce's chocolate bar, so I bought it! I also bought some thin chocolates, which are delicious of course, but I realized that I personally prefer chocolate bars (*≧ω≦). That's why lately, I've been buying their Pure Chocolate instead. Today, I bought the milk flavor. This chocolate has a strong cocoa flavor with a decent hint of milk, which I really like. It's not too sweet, making it an easy-to-eat chocolate.

I came to Asahikawa and visited the large and new Asahikawa Station. The Aeon Mall is also big and conveniently located in front of the station.
