Due to the current situation with COVID-19, only drinks, desserts, and light snacks were available. We had already eaten at the food court in the same building before arriving, and enjoyed the view from Kyoto Tower. The atmosphere was very stylish and lovely! However, we were a bit disappointed as we had thought it would be at the top of the tower, but it was actually on the 5th floor. Also, we were unable to return to the tower, which was a shame.

Before heading back in December 2022, I visited Kyoto Tower for sightseeing. Just before it got dark, I couldn't wait for the sunset, so I went to the bar. I started on the 4th floor for the view, then moved down to the 3rd floor to find a good seat. I chose a table towards the back where I could see the parking lot in front. There were also counter seats facing the station. I ordered a draft beer first, along with half of the sweet potato chips with honey and the other half plain with salt. I got a refill on the beer and tried the black beer as well. The chips were large and satisfying to eat, a bit pricey but a nice place to relax before catching the Shinkansen back. I left a bit early to retrieve my luggage for the train, not realizing the station would be so crowded and delayed. Thank you for the meal.

I happened to come across an advertisement for the reopening of the Kyoto Tower's observation deck Sky Lounge starting from August 1st. I decided to visit and tried the seasonal fruit soda mix. It was surprisingly delicious. The place wasn't too crowded, so I could choose my favorite seat. The sofa was nice and comfortable. One downside was that the outside of the observation deck seemed a bit dusty, almost like cobwebs. It's understandable that it's hard to reach, but for a place that promotes the view, cleanliness is important. Overall, it was a good experience, especially with the friendly and hardworking staff, who seemed to be new but made a positive impression!

I went there for the first time. The atmosphere was really nice. We had a table seat, but the counter seats looked good too. The original tower cocktail was sweet. The dried fruits and cheese were plentiful and delicious. The seasonal fruit mojito was tasty.

After my medical checkup, I went to this restaurant in the evening because it was the only place where I could use my lunch voucher. It is located inside Kyoto Tower, and you have to take the elevator to the observation deck of the tower. When I informed them that I would like to use the voucher, they guided me to the restaurant. I had only been to this cafe once when it first opened, so it had been a while. After placing my order, the wait was so long that I was wondering what was taking so long! I think I waited for over 30 minutes. By the time the curry finally arrived, it was disappointingly lukewarm. I wish it had been served piping hot. The restaurant wasn't even that crowded, so the long wait was unacceptable. If it was just that one day, then I apologize!

On this day, I went sightseeing in Kyoto with my wife. We came to this bar located on the north side of Kyoto Station, on the 3rd floor of Kyoto Tower Hotel's observation room. It is situated at a height of 45m above ground. By the way, you can go up here for free. When we arrived, there was a line. It seemed that on this day, they had a private event until 9 pm, but the preparations were not ready yet even after 9:30 pm. We wrote our names down and waited to be guided. Eventually, after about 20 minutes, we were finally guided in. The interior of the bar has a mystical blue-themed lighting. We were seated at a 4-person table towards the back with a view of Kyoto Station from the window. The background music was guitar-based instrumental and jazz. We looked at the menu for a while and considered what to order. So, here's what we had that day: - Persimmon Gin Mojito 1400 yen This was my wife's order. A cocktail made with Bombay Sapphire gin, using persimmon juice and pulp, and topped with persimmon leaves. It was delicious as a persimmon gin cocktail, but whether it can be called a Mojito is questionable. - Japanese Citrus Gin Mojito 1400 yen This was my order. Also made with Bombay Sapphire gin, using sudachi citrus juice and pulp, and topped with mint. The sudachi flavor was strong and refreshing. It was also delicious. - Charm 400 yen x 2 servings A chocolate assortment with almond chocolate and colorful chocolates. Considering that this was included, the charge was reasonable. With this, the total came to 3600 yen. 1800 yen per person. It was a straightforward bill with tax included. Originally, we planned to have 2 drinks each and then leave, but because they suddenly let in a lot of customers, it took 25 minutes to serve the cocktails. It was close to the last order time, so we decided to just head back to the hotel and sleep. The mystical atmosphere was quite nice. This is a lounge located halfway up Kyoto Tower. The seats at the back, farther from the entrance, offer a view of Kyoto Station, which I recommend. I enjoyed a set of cake and iced coffee while looking out at the cityscape of Kyoto. The iced coffee had a strong flavor and was a nice accompaniment to the cake. It was a good break.

This is a casual bar located on the 11th floor of Kyoto Tower, right near Kyoto Station. The atmosphere inside is sophisticated, with calming blue lighting and a variety of seating options such as counter seats, couple seats, booth seats, and table seats. The background music was relaxing and the view from each seat is said to be different, so it's recommended to check beforehand. The customers were mostly young men and women. I ordered a half bottle of Moet & Chandon for 6500 yen, as we were using it for a pre-drink gathering before a year-end party. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance was nice. The bar is located 45 meters above ground, so it's recommended even for those with a fear of heights. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I had a gin and tonic. The night view from inside Kyoto Tower was lovely. It was the weekend, but there were only about three other groups of customers. The electric candles were also beautiful. I had a relaxing time.

After sightseeing in Uji, I decided to climb Kyoto Tower. The cake sets were sold out, so I ended up having a matcha dessert and some tea. The waiter had a cool vibe, kind of like a member of Johnny's group. I went for my owner's birthday! We had the Anniversary Plan which included a meal. It came with an assortment of hors d'oeuvres, quiche, pasta (choose from 3 types), and a whole cake!! You can also choose 2 drinks from the menu, such as cocktails or beer. Even though it's a bar, I thought it wouldn't be a heavy meal, but I ended up quite full! The whole cake was a great deal and made me happy. The China Blue cocktail and the birthday cocktail were delicious. It was a great value with all the food and drinks. The night view was beautiful too! The package also included tickets to the Kyoto Tower observation deck.

The night view is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, it's a bar where you can relax.

I went to a year-end party in Kyoto and stopped by for a second party. The seat by the window had a beautiful night view. There were many types of alcohol available, but I thought the price for one drink was a bit high. However, considering the night view, maybe it's understandable. I was drunk so I didn't take any photos.
