This is my visit to this restaurant, which is recommended for its delicious Italian cuisine. The shop has a cute appearance, but the food is carefully prepared and very tasty, making it a wonderful place for special occasions like anniversaries. It is conveniently located near Hankyu Matsuo Taisha Station, so it is recommended to combine it with a stroll around Arashiyama and Matsuo.

I visited this restaurant for the first time over 20 years ago, and since then I have been there for lunch and dinner many times. It is always full, so making a reservation is a must. I had a full course meal, starting with a colorful assortment of appetizers and minestrone soup. The pasta, fish dish, and meat dish were all chef's choice. The fish dish was sea bass and angel prawns, while the pasta had shrimp, scallops, crab meat, and salmon in a cream sauce topped with caviar. The meat dish was beef with porcini sauce and ravioli. For dessert, I had panna cotta and mango gelato. I left feeling full. One thing to note is that the restaurant is run by a couple and the service can be slow, so it may not be suitable for those who are short on time.

I didn't know there was a store here, but I heard it was delicious, so I haven't had Italian food in a while, so I decided to come here☻♬ Since there was no website and I couldn't find the menu, I decided to enjoy the surprise of what to eat when I arrived☻♬ - Assorted appetizers: I imagined a salad with lots of lettuce, but because it was assorted, there were different types of ham and various vegetables, making it a luxurious dish☻♬ - Abalone steak with escargot butter sauce: The abalone was cooked, so it didn't have the crunchy texture of sashimi, but the escargot sauce was delicious, and the seasoning was strong but I wanted more◎ It came with bread, and the strong flavor matched perfectly◎ - Foie gras sauté with sweet balsamic sauce: It also came with bread, and the strong flavor matched the bread perfectly☻♬ Because it was balsamic, I preferred the taste of the abalone, but the foie gras was soft and delicious◎ - Spaghetti with white fish, garlic, and bird's eye chili topped with karasumi: It took a while for the pasta to come out, probably because I quickly finished all the dishes that came before⤵︎ The white fish wasn't very seasoned and overall it was salty, but it was light and balanced well with the spiciness of the chili and garlic◎ - Spaghetti with snow crab and asparagus in cream sauce: I wanted to eat more pasta, so I ordered another one☻♬ I prefer cream-based pasta, so this one was perfect♬ It was also flavorful, but the crab and asparagus were easy to eat in a size that made it easy to keep eating and delicious◎ With a full stomach after the second pasta, even though there were other menu items I was curious about, I stopped here for today☻ The food was all delicious, but the service was so slow, so if you understand that kind of place, it might be okay☻

I visited this restaurant after visiting Matsuo Shrine in search of lunch. The restaurant has an elegant design with an ivory color scheme that exudes an Italian atmosphere, although I've never been to Italy (lol). There are 9 seats in total, with 4 seats at one table and 2 seats at another, but the spacing between the 2-seat tables is narrow, so conversations can be easily overheard as there is only 30 centimeters between tables. I was planning to have yakiniku for dinner, so I just ordered pasta here. It cost 1400 yen, but it came with soup, homemade focaccia, and a drink. The soup was minestrone, which had a gentle flavor, not tomato-based. The pasta was seafood in tomato sauce and had plenty of ingredients, making it delicious. However, there was a problem (lol) - my coffee arrived while I was still eating my pasta... huh? It will be cold by the time I finish eating. Since there was only one woman handling everything, and the restaurant was full (which it was), serving 24 people can be overwhelming and it's hard to keep an eye on everything. But it's strange to evaluate an Italian restaurant based on just one cup of coffee. Oh, and as everyone has mentioned in their reviews, the chef is not very friendly, which is true (lol). I think the chef just wants to focus on cooking. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation and had lunch at a restaurant near Matsuo Taisha. The assorted appetizers were beautifully presented and each one was delicious. The Minestrone soup without tomatoes was rich in various vegetables and had a gentle flavor. We all chose the seafood pasta, which was Pescaatore. It was delicious with just the right amount of tomato flavor. The dessert was also delicious, and we left satisfied as we headed towards Arashiyama.

The taste is not bad, but because there are few staff, everything takes a long time.

Whenever I want to eat Italian food back in Kyoto, I always come here. There is no disappointment with any of the pasta dishes. The white liver pate in the appetizers is delicious even for someone like me who is not a fan of liver.

The pasta set had a variety of appetizers, all of which were delicious. You can choose from about twenty different types of pasta. The pasta was served hot and fresh.

The antipasto had a variety of options and was delicious. I had the tagliatelle with shrimp and scallops for my pasta, which was average. I also tried my mother's seafood and mushroom oil-based pasta, which was also just okay. Both dishes had sauces that were too watery. Also, we were told that the bread was being baked and it arrived when I was almost done with my pasta. And my mother's pasta arrived after I had finished eating, which was disappointing.

I went to Meiji Shrine to see the plum blossoms. I strolled through the beautiful plum garden and greeted the cats in the shrine grounds before enjoying a pleasant lunch. I looked for a good restaurant nearby and decided to visit this one after calling ahead to inquire about seating availability. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I noticed several electric bicycles outside, indicating that it was popular among local mothers. I waited for about 10 minutes outside before entering the restaurant, which was full of women. I opted for the meat course instead of the pasta lunch, which was reasonably priced. The appetizer plate had a wide variety of dishes, but there were so many that none stood out in particular. The minestrone soup had a gentle flavor, the seafood pasta was just the right amount, and the roasted lamb was tender and delicious. However, I found the wilted bay leaves used in the dishes to be a bit disappointing. For dessert, I chose the fruit jelly, which was light and refreshing. Since the women's lunchtime was long, reservations were necessary at this restaurant.

Two of us visited the restaurant for lunch. There were two pasta sets available, one costing around 1000 yen and the other around 1600 yen. We chose the latter set this time. The set included an appetizer, soup, choice of pasta, dessert, and coffee or tea. The difference between the two sets is that the more expensive one comes with an appetizer and allows you to choose your main pasta dish. The appetizer had a variety of colorful dishes and tasted delicious. The soup, called Minestrone, was a white soup without tomatoes, which seems to be common in Italy. It had a sweet and gentle flavor from the vegetables. Bread was served after finishing the soup. We had the Fisherman's Pasta and Lasagna for the main course, both delicious. The sauce of the Lasagna was particularly tasty. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and Milk Gelato, served elegantly on white plates. The Milk Gelato was refreshing. Coffee was served after dessert, slightly strong but delicious. The dishes were all delicious and well-prepared. The casual and friendly service made us enjoy our meal even more. The neighboring table seemed to be regular customers, and we can see why. Choosing the more expensive lunch set seems to offer a higher level of satisfaction at this restaurant. The appetizer was lovely, and the variety of pasta options was great.

After visiting the Baikou Shrine, we went to an Italian restaurant for lunch. There is a parking lot nearby, so it's convenient. The interior of the restaurant is bright and has a white-based color scheme. It opens at 11:30, but it fills up quickly, so it's best to make a reservation. They also open on weekends. We ordered the pasta set, which was delicious. The assorted appetizers were colorful and really got us excited. There were 10 different Italian appetizers in bite-sized portions, with a good balance of vegetables, seafood, and ham. It made us crave some wine. Next, we had the Minestrone soup, which was full of vegetables and very tasty. The vegetables were cooked so well that they melted in your mouth. The walnut bread was served hot, with a crispy outer layer and a soft inside. For the pasta, we chose the fisherman-style spaghetti and the tagliatelle with veal and porcini mushrooms topped with foie gras for an additional fee. The spaghetti was full of flavor from clams, squid, octopus, mussels, and shrimp, with a slightly spicy tomato sauce that we ended up drinking. The tagliatelle with foie gras and porcini mushrooms was a great choice, even though they substituted duck for veal that day. For dessert, we had tiramisu and blood orange sorbet, which was refreshing. The tiramisu was light and delicious. Overall, it was a delicious Italian meal with good value for money. If you're in the Matsuo Shrine area, this is a restaurant worth remembering. Bon appétit!

After visiting the Bell Cricket Temple, I went for lunch. Today, I had the pasta set. The appetizers had a variety of options, and each one was delicious. The soup was a simple consommé with lots of vegetables, which brought out the flavor of the vegetables well. For the pasta, I chose one with shrimp and scallops in a cream sauce. The noodles were like thick udon, a bit difficult to eat, but the taste was delicious. I enjoyed dipping the bread that came later in the cream sauce. Finally, I had a cappuccino and dessert after the meal, and I was satisfied.

My mother had been wanting to visit a popular restaurant, so we made a reservation and went there. The restaurant had a cute orange exterior. Upon entering, we were greeted by the chef and staff in the kitchen. The staff seemed a bit unresponsive at first, but eventually acknowledged our reservation. The restaurant had a clean and bright ambiance, although the tables were quite close together. We ordered the pasta set, which included an appetizer platter, soup, bread, pasta of choice, dessert platter, and a drink. The appetizer platter was beautifully presented with various dishes to enjoy. The staff seemed more engaged during this course. The minestrone soup was different from what I expected, but had a gentle and sweet vegetable flavor. The fisherman's pasta was visually appealing and rich in flavor, although I found it a bit too salty for my taste. The bread was warm and fluffy, but was served at an odd timing. The dessert platter was tasty, but after the impressive appetizer platter, it felt a bit underwhelming. Overall, the food was a mix of highs and lows, with the appetizer being the highlight. However, the service was lacking. The staff's communication was unclear and their service felt impersonal. The timing of the dishes was also off, with my pasta arriving late. The checkout process was slow and there were mistakes in the bill. The difference in treatment between regulars and non-regular customers was also noticeable. Although the food was delicious, the service issues overshadowed the dining experience. I would choose to visit their sister restaurant "Gran Prie" for better service. Despite the good taste of the food, the overall experience was disappointing due to the service. I would rate the food alone at 3.6 stars, but considering the service, I wouldn't return to this restaurant.
