Today, I visited Nakamura in Namikibashi, the fourth stop in the Shibuya sake shop series. To start off, they greeted me with a warm bowl of mozuku, which was a great hospitality gesture. The first sake I tried was Mimuro Sugi, a junmai ginjo from Nara. I enjoyed a sashimi platter and boiled conger eel with plum paste. Among the sashimi, the horse mackerel and boiled conger eel stood out as particularly delicious. Next, I had Oni Label, a junmai ginjo from Miyagi, with salted edamame and pickled water eggplant as additional snacks. Then, I tried Morishima Yamadanishiki, a junmai ginjo from Ibaraki, which was my favorite sake of the day. The special minced cutlet and sukiyaki croquette were must-try items. I also had Sohgen, an unfiltered junmai from Ishikawa, which I also enjoyed. The bacon-topped potato salad was a standout dish. I tried various other items like shumai, rolled omelette, stingray fin, black sugar edamame, and A5-grade charcoal-grilled wagyu beef. I finished with tai fish clay pot rice, pickles, miso soup, and Nidashizenshu Tamura, a nama-zume junmai from Fukushima. It was a refreshing end to a satisfying meal. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

Today, after working hard in Meguro, I took a little break and came to Shibuya. I decided to go to Nakamura at Namikibashi. The dishes were amazing: large nameko mushrooms, grilled long eggplant, plump shrimp dumplings, broiled mackerel, grilled saury, broiled large conger eel, and the classic sea bream rice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere of the open kitchen was enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this fantastic izakaya. I definitely want to come back again.

It's a place about a 7-8 minute walk from Shibuya. A friend in Tokyo made a reservation for us about a week ago. Inside, the lively atmosphere gives off a high-class izakaya vibe. There are long counter seats, several table seats, and it seems like there are 3-4 semi-private rooms in the back. We sat at the counter. Multiple chefs were efficiently handling their tasks. Counter seats are always fun! We ordered a la carte that day: Appetizer, Sashimi platter, Seasonal vegetable platter, Edamame, Grilled corn with butter soy sauce, Fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp, Grilled white conger eel, Clay pot rice with sweetfish, Dessert - Warabi Mochi. We enjoyed the meal with sake. The menu is extensive and there are still many dishes we want to try. It was a lovely and cozy place with a great impression from the staff.

On a holiday around 9:30 PM, we made a last-minute phone reservation for a cozy and lovely hidden gem of a restaurant for 2 people. The restaurant had spacious counter seats, table seats, and semi-private rooms. We sat at the counter seats. Menu ordered: - Appetizer - Seared Mackerel Sushi (1 piece for 450 yen) - Specialty Menchi Katsu (600 yen) - Lemon Sour Cocktail (750 yen) - Green Tea Highball (700 yen) Since we had already drank quite a bit during a sushi full course earlier, we were quite full, but we ordered the recommended Menchi Katsu. It was delicious, with a nice texture of diced onions. I want to order one for myself next time! I also want to try more items on the menu next time. By the way, the shochu in the Green Tea Highball is not a first-class one! The staff was very friendly and we had a great time. I would like to visit again leisurely next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I reserved a 6800 yen course for a meal with my son. The appetizers included edamame, anago sushi, fruit tomato with prosciutto, and scallop chawanmushi. For sashimi, we had winter melon and hamo, red snapper, and grilled bonito. The main dishes were ayu fish, delicious eggplant and yuba tempura, and menchi katsu. The meal ended with cold noodles and warabi mochi for dessert. It was so satisfying and delicious. Thank you for the feast! The cost performance was excellent, and the staff's energy, hospitality, and attention were great. I will definitely visit again!

I went with 3 friends. The Menchi Katsu course, which is the most delicious in Japan, is quite a deal. The quality of each dish is high and the cost performance is excellent. The restaurant is full of energy and easy to use. I am a fan of the Hiroo branch, but I also plan to use the Namiki Bridge branch in the future. ❤️

When I opened the door, I was greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and an open kitchen. I felt glad that I decided to visit this place, thanks to the pleasant service. The dishes served made me feel the early summer vibes. The scallop and corn chawanmushi and grilled ayu liver with soy sauce were delicious! The onion in the famous menchi katsu had a surprising sweetness and presence. Although I had a course menu this time, choosing a la carte seems like a fun option too. Prices range from around 8,000 to 9,000 yen per person.

It's a bit far from Shibuya. The restaurant was fully booked, so we started with a draft beer. The foam was fine and delicious. The appetizers were winter melon, boiled tofu skin sashimi, fresh spring rolls, and the famous sukiyaki croquettes. The fried sardines in plum sauce were also delicious. The presentation and atmosphere were amazing. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

Sipping on a glass of shochu and enjoying traditional Japanese cuisine is a match made in heaven. Today, I had delicious seared bonito, potato salad, assorted sashimi, and marinated firefly squid. I always leave this restaurant feeling satisfied. Thank you as always for the wonderful meal.

This is my favorite restaurant! Whenever I go, whatever I order is delicious. They cook seasonal vegetables and fish beautifully, so I feel like going there in every season ☺️ I think those who like Japanese sake can especially enjoy it. Personally, I love both the dishes and the desserts. Seasonal Japanese sweets like strawberry daifuku and warabi mochi are really charming! It's a great restaurant!

The high-class Japanese izakaya "Namikibashi Nakamura" serves incredibly delicious kama-meshi (rice cooked in a kettle). Located in a quiet alley away from Shibuya Station, this izakaya offers a cozy atmosphere with a counter kitchen where you can watch the chefs cook right in front of you. The appetizers and fish dishes are also delicious, but the kama-meshi was my favorite. The dessert, strawberry daifuku, is a must-try as they make it right in front of you and it is incredibly sweet and delicious. If you're looking to indulge a bit, I highly recommend this izakaya for a special dining experience.

It's been a while since I visited Nakamura. I love the onigiri here. I haven't been able to drink alcohol for over 10 years because it made me anemic, but now I can enjoy sweet potato shochu. What a feeling! They have dashimaki tamago, soramame, cherry trout, fuki miso yaki, and charcoal-grilled Oyama chicken. And the onigiri with salmon and raw shichimi miso is a must-try. #ShibuyaGourmet #NakamuraNamikiBridge #LoveOnigiri #SweetPotatoShochu

It was my first visit to this izakaya in a while. I had made a reservation for 7:00 pm, but it was almost full. I remember discovering the deliciousness of smoked salmon and cream cheese here. - Assorted sashimi of the day - Wagyu beef tataki with new onions and watercress salad - Bamboo shoots with smoked salmon and cream cheese - Ray fin - Yam and plum rice It was a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience that went well with sake!

Honestly, I ate too much today. From appetizers to dessert, a total of 11 dishes. The bill came out to exactly 20,000 yen for two people. We ended up exceeding the average customer spending at this restaurant. Today was a farewell for a former subordinate who was once stationed in North America at the same time as me. He is now being transferred to Singapore starting April 1st. Considering our ages and his expected length of stay, we may never see each other again... These thoughts crossed my mind as we drank and ate to our hearts' content. I kept ordering more and more dishes as a result. I usually only bring important guests to this restaurant, and everyone has always been satisfied with the ambiance, decor, and delicious food. Whether you visit with two people and leisurely enjoy at the counter without a time limit, or opt for the open space table seating, the atmosphere is great. However, the private room with a sunken hearth at the back of the restaurant is the most comfortable. Just remember, you need to leave within 2 and a half hours in that room. Spending 2 and a half hours with 3-4 people should be sufficient. The only thing to note is that for groups of 5 or more, you must order the 6,800 yen course menu. Therefore, I recommend visiting with up to 4 people. Reservations may be difficult for groups of 3 or more, but it seems relatively easy to secure a counter seat for 2 people. In fact, I plan to visit this restaurant three more times this spring, as it is the season of farewells. If I try to take charge of all the visits like today, I can already imagine the angry look on my wife's face. I'll take tonight's experience as a lesson and try to enjoy the next visits in a more refined and elegant manner. Oh, Inakamura... my current favorite restaurant. If you are within visiting distance of Shibuya and have read my review, I highly recommend giving it a try. Reservations can only be made by phone, so you won't earn T-points, but that's just a minor inconvenience. The dishes today were truly delicious. I look forward to my next visit and will end this review here.

The inside of the restaurant has a nice, cozy atmosphere with a touch of age, yet it is clean and inviting. Even on weekdays, it is always busy, but the staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to help. The food is excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, everything we ordered was satisfying.

On Wednesday evening, three of us visited with work colleagues. We started with a toast with beer and the drinking party began. The appetizer was a gentle white miso soup that was good for the body. The sashimi was all fresh and had a good amount of fat. The usual minced cutlet is a must! It goes well with beer! Potato salad with crispy bacon on top. This also goes well with beer! The dumpling soup and the curry for the finale were also delicious! The taste of the popular dishes is still the same. Thank you for the meal!

From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect at this popular restaurant. The atmosphere and customer service were excellent. There are both counter and table seats, but the dim lighting at the counter seats creates a great date night ambiance ❤️ The staff were also very attentive. There are so many other tempting menu items that I will definitely be going back. The oyster pot rice was particularly delicious and I was impressed. You can even take home any leftovers! They have a wide variety of drinks, so I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back!

I used this restaurant for a casual meal. The special minced cutlet and croquettes are perfect for drinking snacks and incredibly delicious! The complimentary miso soup also had a great appetite-enhancing effect and was very delicious. The restaurant was full of energy and lively, yet we were still able to have a good conversation. I definitely want to go back again!
