Thanks to a special connection, I had the opportunity to stay at Exiv Kyoto Yase. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The ambiance was even better at night. I enjoyed using the lounge for coffee and had a satisfying dinner. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of high-quality options including Japanese, Western, salad, dessert, and Chinese congee. I was thrilled with the selection and quality. It was a fantastic holiday experience.

I enjoyed some sweets using the owner's benefit of being able to order unlimited drinks. The towels are sturdy and don't leave any residue when wiping, the sofa seats are comfortable, and you can fully enjoy the open view of Yase. The lobby lounge offers a sense of liberation. I had an iced café au lait (without syrup) and coconut tropical mousse for sweets, with an additional Vienna coffee.

It was a late dinner, but since it was Japanese cuisine, it was light and very delicious, making me smile unintentionally! Everything was tasty, but the sake kasu brulee dessert in particular had a faint hint of alcohol, which was a new experience for me. Looking forward to Chinese cuisine tomorrow.

My nephew and niece's exams ended safely, so we had a sleepover party with female relatives who could attend. It was our first time at Exiv since our stay at Karuizawa Paseo, and the Imperial Palace bath was excellent as expected. The dinner had a nice atmosphere, but the breakfast was disappointing as it was in the convention hall. We had to wait despite arriving on time, and it seemed they were short-staffed. Overall, we were satisfied and would like to visit again.

I used the French restaurant during my stay. They provided a private room for us with great attention to detail, such as drinks and chairs, especially considering we had a one-year-old child. While French cuisine may seem intimidating for everyday dining, I think this restaurant offers a relaxing space for indulging in a little luxury once in a while.

It's a great hotel. The best. Both me and my little one are very satisfied. But, it's crowded. A trip to Kyoto out of season. I wanted to relax in the hot springs and chill in the room. But it's crowded. I guess that's normal. Seems like my sense of things is off. Sorry. I'd like to come back during the autumn leaves season next time.

I used the lobby lounge at The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Eight while checking in during snack time. This time, they had a collaboration with "PIERRE MARCOLINI," a well-known name among chocolate lovers. Pierre Marcolini is a luxury chocolate brand from Belgium, and the collaboration menu was the "Ultimate Mont Blanc O Chocolat" for 3,000 yen. The rich and elegant bitter chocolate was so delicious that I could eat as much as I wanted. The crispy pistachio ice cream inside added to the overall experience. It was incredibly tasty, and I would love to have it again. Thank you for the meal!

It was my first visit. The dishes were carefully plated, each plate was artistic and unique, showcasing the dishes beautifully. The food was enjoyable starting from the appearance. The vegetables and other ingredients were well utilized. I also enjoyed the grape juice that tasted like wine.

We had dinner at the French restaurant Bonacure. It cost around 38,000 yen for two people with a wine pairing. They offered 3 types of wine. The restaurant required wearing a jacket, but they provided one so we didn't need to prepare anything. For breakfast, we had a buffet at the convention hall.

Amazing! The dinner at the palace was truly exceptional! Each dish made my senses dance, allowing me to feel the season in every bite. The attention to detail, elegance, and excellence in both the presentation and ingredients were truly remarkable. The white wine we had with the meal was a bit pricey at 23,000 yen per bottle, but it was incredibly delicious! It had a hint of oak that I love, and I felt like I discovered a new favorite wine to pair with meals!

This is my first visit. It is a Chinese restaurant located in Exiv Kyoto Yase Rikyu. I ordered the Shenlong course. Every dish was filled with dedication and delicious. The number of dishes was just right, and I felt satisfied. The atmosphere of the hotel itself is also wonderful, so I want to go again.

We missed the temple bar we were aiming for because we confused the stations "Kurama-guchi" and "Kurama", so we ended up at a bar near our accommodation for a drink. The spacious area had live music and a great atmosphere with just us as customers. They were able to customize cocktails to our preferred colors, so I chose pink. I don't usually drink cocktails, so I don't know much about them, but the one I had was beautifully garnished with a pearl-colored bubble on top (created using a special machine). I'd like to make a revenge visit to the temple bar in autumn.

Thank you for the delicious meal once again. The food at Exciv is consistent and reliable. The bread was also very tasty, so I ended up having seconds. Overall, it's more traditional than innovative. I would be happy if there were more choices for drinks.

I visited during a layover and was impressed by the luxurious and elegant exterior. Despite feeling a bit nervous, the service was relaxed and the atmosphere was serene. The raspberry cake was delicious, with a beautiful appearance and a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity from the fruit. I wish I could stay here overnight!笑

The member-only resort hotel operated by Exiv Kyoto Yase Rikyu Resort Trust is luxurious and magnificent in every aspect, from the exterior to the interior. The service is also excellent. The dining options include French, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, all of which are exceptional in terms of ambiance, tableware, dishes, and service. Personally, I recommend Suiei for dinner (Chinese cuisine) and Kahoreki for breakfast (Japanese cuisine).

Located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City, near the Eizan Electric Railway, Hieizan-Hiei Station. I was driven here by car. The entrance blends in with the surroundings, making it easy to miss. The above-ground parking spaces are surrounded by square brick walls, making it seem like you can park anywhere. Each spot looks stylish and a bit tricky, so asking for guidance is a good idea. The lobby lounge has a spacious and high ceiling, perfect for a tea time break. A dessert on its own costs around 880 yen. There was also a shortcake for about 1600 yen. Although not listed on the menu, I was able to request a vanilla ice cream for my child. Matcha Tiramisu for 880 yen plus a 10% service charge. It was generously covered with matcha, enough to make me cough if I ate too quickly, but it's not bitter. The creamy texture goes well with the matcha. It looks like a lot, and compared to other desserts of similar price like Fraisier or Tart, it's definitely larger, but surprisingly light and easy to finish! Although I was told it would take a bit of time, it arrived only 5 minutes after the other desserts, no problem at all. Coffee refills are allowed. The building is so spacious and maze-like corridors that you might lose track of which floor you're on. The garden is full of greenery, making it a pleasant place to be.

All staff members were kind and provided pleasant service. The room was spacious and had a luxurious feel, true to the Exiv style. It may be suitable for enjoying a lovely night in a stylish space, but the large public bath and corridors were dark and not very calming for mature couples. It felt more like a hotel attached to an international conference center or university. We chose Japanese cuisine for dinner and breakfast, which was decent and enjoyable, but there was no particular dish that left a lasting impression.

It's such a lovely place after all ( ˶´꒳`˶) I was happy to receive a job offer at the Resort Trust here...*.+ﾟ I wonder how my life would have been different if I had worked here (crying) Now, I work as a bank employee. Kyoto is known for matcha! I tried the Matcha Tiramisu. It came in a sturdy box and had a strong matcha flavor. It was delicious~♡
