浮かれ三亀松
In the early evening of a few days ago, my partner and I visited this restaurant after making a reservation in advance. It had been a while since we last visited, when I came with a former colleague from work. Located in a somewhat old building on the right side after turning at the corner of Hotel Yutaka, up the hill from Iidabashi Station towards Kagurazaka. The entrance is a bit hard to find on the left side, leading to an elevator with a sign indicating it is prone to malfunctions. Despite arriving slightly before our reservation time at 6:30 pm, we were promptly seated at the counter as the place quickly filled up. The interior of the restaurant is simple but clean, with a functional dining area. The atmosphere is not pretentious, welcoming both young and older customers in a moderate and pleasant setting. The kitchen staff, consisting of three individuals, including a male responsible for grilling, worked together efficiently, while a few male servers managed the restaurant. They were attentive and friendly, creating a lively atmosphere with their professional service. We started with a draft beer for me and a lemon sour for my partner. We ordered the assorted grilled chicken skewers set (1,580 yen) and the daily recommended asparagus. The skewers were well-prepared, with a good balance of seasoning and flavors. The liver and meatball skewers in sauce were delicious, while the gizzard skewer with salt was outstanding. We also ordered grilled eggplant, quail skewer, and shiitake mushroom stuffed with meat skewers, followed by grilled rice balls and grilled rice cakes to finish our meal. The accompaniments of pickles and chicken soup were a nice touch. Throughout the meal, we enjoyed several sour cocktails, such as tomato and lemon sours. The staff handled a small mishap with a glass tactfully and smoothly, displaying excellent hospitality. The bill for two of us came to 13,000 yen, which we found to be very reasonable considering the quality of food and drinks. The restaurant has a high female clientele, which was not surprising given the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we were impressed by the balance of ambiance, pricing, and taste, making it a great choice for casual gatherings or small group dinners. We highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxed dining experience in the Kagurazaka area. We look forward to visiting again.
