Since we had just eaten the gold leaf matcha soft serve, we chose the fresh milk vanilla flavor this time. The gold leaf used in these soft serves is applied right in front of you, and I even captured the moment on video. The soft serve also contains red beans and white mochi inside, making it extra delicious. Kinkaku Soft seems to be a shop that offers sweets inspired by Kinkaku-ji, serving soft serve ice cream topped with gold leaf.
