Since being discharged from the hospital, my parents have been coming by frequently to check on me. It seems like they just want to make sure I'm okay. They always bring some food with them. This time, they brought me a bento box from a new bento shop. There was a flyer included, so I decided to register on their food blog. It's a sad saga, really. The shop's name suggests they focus on vegetables, and the daily bento box seems to have a good balance of nutrients. The salmon and vegetable stir-fry was listed as an additional option. My parents always try to make sure I eat enough. It's nice that they offer free delivery for even just one bento box. I think I'll go buy some from there myself next time.

If you can only provide unappetizing bento boxes, you might be seen as not quite a full-fledged adult in the workforce...probably. They were very accommodating in discussing the contents based on my budget. The bento box that was delivered even came with a handwritten menu explanation. When I opened it, there were colorful vegetables such as winter melon, boiled cucumber, tomato caprese, stir-fried bell peppers, chilled Kyoto pork, and more. The variety of flavors and the abundance of vegetables were impressive. The main dish was something like minced meat with a Japanese-style sauce. I wish I had taken a photo, but I was busy helping others. The variety of side dishes and the abundance of vegetables, as well as the delicious taste, received high praise from both the female and male team members. Even the staff who took the flyer home were impressed. This restaurant is located in Uji, but they also deliver to Kyoto city if the order is large enough. If you are nearby, it's a great option for regular use.

Kyoto Location Bento Series #1: I usually don't eat bento boxes, but I decided to try one this time because it looked delicious. On this day, I went to "Yasai Kitchen" in Fushimi. The Yangnyeom Chicken Bento with corn rice was unique, cute, and tasty. The Yangnyeom Chicken was delicious and went well with the rice. Overall, I thought it was a great choice for a bento box!
