I had a seafood bowl (regular one)! I arrived 30 minutes ago but had to wait for 30 minutes. Maybe because it was Saturday. The taste was delicious, and it was nice to see the ocean right in front of me! I want to come back again, but maybe when it gets a little cooler. The waiting area was just too hot.

Seafood bowl restaurant by the seaside. I arrived before the 11:30 opening time, but there was already a considerable line. The service was quite rough, with a pushy attitude towards ordering. The staff's tone was harsh and the overall service was not good. It seemed like they were just trying to handle as many customers as possible, probably due to the high number of tourists. I ordered the seafood bowl for ¥1980 (tax included). It looked very filling and the shrimp was large and appetizing. The taste was average for the price. The sashimi slices were quite thick. If you like thick slices, this is the place for you.

I went two days in a row. It's popular and crowded, so I had to wait in line, but they take your name so you can take a walk around the area to pass the time. The dishes were very fresh and delicious. The quality is higher compared to other seafood bowls in the area. The prices are a bit high though...

A must-visit seafood bowl restaurant. The seafood bowl is topped with fresh and thick slices of sashimi, delicious and satisfying. The first floor seems to be a fish market, and the quality is exceptional. Despite the high quality and quantity, the prices are relatively reasonable. Popular among tourists, with long lines on weekends. Even before opening, several groups of people were already waiting.

Shanghai Seafood Bowl Set for ¥2560
If you come to Miyazu, you must try the seafood bowl! Since it was a weekday, the wait time was about 15 minutes! I decided to go all out and order the most luxurious Shanghai seafood bowl set 😊 You can choose the amount of rice for the same price! I chose a regular portion, but the amount of fish was amazing, so women might be fine with a smaller portion. The toppings included tuna, salmon, bonito, sea bream, shelled clams, scallops, and more. The combination of salmon and salmon roe on rice was just too good ( ᐪ꒳ᐪ )✨ The freshness of the ingredients was outstanding, so even with thick slices of fish, there was no fishy smell. When you go sightseeing in Amanohashidate, be sure to stop by this place!!

During a crab trip, we stopped by a restaurant with a parking lot, which was convenient. We hurried as the last order was at 13:30, but even near closing time, there were a few customers. The seating was mostly at the counter with partitioned tables in the middle. There were even high chairs available for babies, which was helpful. I ordered a seafood bowl after looking at the menu on the blackboard. The water was self-serve. While the seafood bowl was different, I heard that dishes like sashimi set could be upgraded to a larger portion of rice for free. The ingredients were fresh and the seafood bowl felt more cost-effective than the sashimi set. Thank you for the meal.

On the way to Amanohashidate, I stopped by this place♪ The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very homey☆ They have a seafood market on the first floor and a dining area on the second floor♪ The sushi pieces were really big and the shrimp was incredibly fresh and juicy☆ Highly recommended♪

First visit to Amanohashidate sightseeing. I wanted to visit here for seafood. I arrived before the store opened and headed to the second floor to write my name, but there were already several names. Even though it was a weekday, it was popular. After ordering, the dishes arrived fairly quickly. Seafood overflowing from the bowl...! Each ingredient was thick and fresh! I was reluctant to see it disappear...

Atmosphere... A quaint set meal restaurant. The view from the second floor is amazing. Cost performance... ★★★★☆ Budget... ¥1500-2000 If you want a seafood set meal in Miyazu Port, this is the place to go. The sashimi set meal (¥1580) comes with thick slices of sashimi. On this day, it included salmon, sea bream, yellowtail, large shrimp (with head), squid, and tuna. The rice is also delicious. Mixing the shirasu that comes as a side dish with rice and a little soy sauce is the best. And the miso soup with seaweed. The texture of the seaweed is irresistible. Summary: The freshness is outstanding, and the view from the second-floor restaurant, right by the sea in Miyazu, is amazing. Although I didn't order it that day, many people were ordering the crab bowl, which looks quite luxurious. It's a bit pricey, but you can fully enjoy the seafood of Kyoto! It was very delicious!!! Note: I focus on cost performance rather than Instagrammable appearance. I post carefully selected reviews mainly from restaurants in Osaka, so please check out my Instagram @gogogohan.jp for more!

- Seafood Bowl Set - ¥2260
Located in the popular tourist spot, Amanohashidate, this dining establishment has a fish market on the first floor and a restaurant on the second floor. I visited around noon on a Saturday, and there was already a line forming outside the restaurant. We had to write our names on a waiting board at the entrance of the second floor and waited for about an hour before being seated.
The menu includes not only seafood bowls but also fried dishes and ochazuke. The seafood bowl was overflowing with a generous amount of seafood. The presentation was beautiful, and the sashimi slices were thick and the ingredients were large, providing a satisfying meal. They offer free extra rice, so men will definitely be satisfied.
If you're lucky, you can enjoy your meal at a counter seat with a view of the sea. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.

The photo is of a "seafood marinated rice bowl" priced at around 2300 yen. Compared to other seafood bowls at places like Toretore Market, this bowl has a lot more seafood and less rice, which is quite amusing. The prices are slightly cheaper and the food is delicious compared to other rice bowl restaurants nearby. I went around 1 PM on a weekday and had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. The portion size was huge! I felt like my stomach was going to explode.笑

I stopped by on a trip. I had the limited special shellfish bowl, while the person I was with ordered a seafood bowl. The bowl was filled with scallops, abalone, horned turban, turban shell, sea pineapple, and salmon roe. You can change the rice portion for free to either large or small. The bowl wasn't too big, so I opted for a small rice portion, but I think women will feel satisfied enough. The parking lot next to the restaurant was full, so we parked at the roadside station and walked a bit. We had to wait in line and wrote our names down to wait on the stairs. There were two groups ahead of us, but the turnover seemed fast, so we didn't have to wait long.

After returning from glamping, I stopped by here for lunch. It seemed to be a popular restaurant with quite a long wait, but after about an hour, I was finally able to get in. I ordered the seafood mixed rice bowl set for ¥2120. It was very fresh and delicious (*´꒳`*). The portion was also generous and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal *\(^o^)/*

This time, I visited around Amanohashidate for a walk and stopped by before strolling. I was torn between the Shanghai seafood bowl or the grilled nodoguro set, but... I decided to go for the limited quantity shellfish bowl (tax included 1950 yen)! My partner preferred something warm, so they chose the winter set meal (tax included 2980 yen). It was a very cold day, so even though it was a bit chilly by the window, we chose to sit there since it was available. We could overlook the sea and boats. When ordering, you can choose between 'wasabi soy sauce' or 'ginger soy sauce' for the shellfish bowl, and you can also choose to have extra rice or choose the portion size. The bowl was not made with vinegared rice, but with plain white rice. The staff recommended the ginger soy sauce to me, so I chose the regular portion with it. Sometimes I eat squid somen with ginger soy sauce, and it has a refreshing flavor. The soy sauce was not too strong. The ingredients included seared scallops, live turban shells, turban shell liver, live abalone sashimi, small clams, and salmon roe. It offered a variety of textures, from crunchy to soft and chewy. The bright orange salmon roe was particularly eye-catching. My partner's yellowtail shabu-shabu came in large slices that could also be eaten raw. It did not come with miso soup (maybe it was a miso blend?), but you could also make ochazuke with about half of the rice as a finishing touch! The contents and prices of the winter set meal may vary depending on the season.

This is a restaurant I found while exploring the northern part of Kyoto near Amanohashidate. It had high ratings on Google Maps, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived on a Sunday at 11:30 am, there was already a line forming. I put my name on the waiting list and passed the time at a nearby roadside station. After about an hour, I returned and was able to finally get a seat. One of the standout features of this restaurant's seafood is the size and thickness of the sashimi, which is about 2 to 3 times larger than usual. The pieces of sashimi were almost as substantial as the rice they were served with. Another highlight was the freshness of the ingredients. Being located next to a market, the local fish had a firm texture and a taste of newly caught fish. Some people may prefer aged sashimi with enhanced umami flavors, but I personally enjoyed the freshness of the seafood. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for those who want to savor fresh seafood near a fishing port.

Visited around 11 am on Saturday, waited for about 20 minutes before entering. There is a private parking lot. Ordered a seafood bowl, which was full of ingredients and delicious. Also ordered a tea rice set as an option. The taste was not like a chef's dish, but more like the flavor of a fisherman's wife. Satisfied with the generous amount of ingredients!

Arrived before noon and had to wait for over an hour in a crowded staircase leading to the restaurant. However, the inside of the restaurant was surprisingly clean with partitions set up for COVID-19 measures. I ordered the seafood bowl for 1,660 yen, which included a free extra serving of rice. The bowl was filled with about 10 types of fresh, thickly sliced sashimi, providing a satisfying and hearty meal. It was worth the wait.

I felt like eating seafood, so I went on a little trip up north with a friend for sightseeing and seafood. This area seems good for that. However, since we went on a holiday, we had to wait quite a bit. I was planning to order a regular seafood bowl, but I got too hungry waiting and ended up ordering the deluxe seafood bowl. When it arrived, it was quite a generous portion with big shrimp and various types of fish. There were fatty fish, light fish, and different types of shellfish, so I enjoyed trying out all the different flavors. I think I will come back again, but the wait was a bit challenging...

The fisherman's punch is 40 levels? Well, the kick I always received from that crappy old man is 400 levels. I'm Sanji, a top-notch chef of the sea. This time, I came to fillet some fishmen. I heard it would take some time due to the popularity of the restaurant, but it was worth the wait. The process of waiting is important for cooking, after all. I, as a gentleman, calmly smoked a cigarette while waiting. The fishmen I had been eagerly waiting for were voluminous and satisfying. Though Arlong, Hody, and Chew weren't there, I enjoyed my meal without any worries. The Shanghai fresh seafood bowl set for 2160 yen (tax included) is a must-try with a cool expression when entering the restaurant. After eating, I'll have a wild smoke and mutter to myself.
