Fushimi Inari's nearest station is Fushimi Inari Station (Keihan Line), where there is a specialty shop for inari sushi right by the ticket gate. Their inari sushi has a sweet broth flavor soaked into the fried tofu. The popular menu items are eel and wasabi inari sushi. The small size is just right to satisfy a small hunger. Beef simmered in soy sauce costs ¥270, and wasabi inari sushi costs ¥129.

After visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha, I headed to Fushimi Inari Station. I didn't notice on my way to the shrine, but there are shops selling Inari-san on the opposite platform from the station. Since it's Fushimi Inari, there are Inari-san being sold everywhere. I initially passed on it, but felt I had to try at least one! I chose the beef simmered inari for 270 yen. There were a few varieties available, but I went for the slightly pricey beef simmered inari. The rice wrapped in sweet aburaage with simmered beef inside didn't have a strong simmered taste, which was a bit disappointing. The chili pepper sprinkled on top was authentic and gave a spicy kick, leaving a tingling aftertaste. Thank you for the meal!

I am visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto ^_^ After visiting the shrine, I walked around and arrived at the station. There, I saw a few people lining up! Curious, I went to see what it was and found cute inari sushi lined up ^_^ Of course, I had to try it haha. There were many types available, but being a meat lover, I chose the beef inari. It looked adorable, and when I tasted it, it had a gentle flavor. As someone from Tohoku, who prefers stronger flavors, I found it a bit mild. Also, the spice on top was really hot... but overall, the balance of flavors was good and it was delicious (*´∀`*) I'm curious about the wasabi inari, which is the most popular, so I would like to try it if I have the chance again. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal (*´꒳`*)

I visited Fushimi Inari. When visiting the Inari Shrine, you have to have Inari sushi, right? So, first, my wife, niece, and I had some standing up. I had shiitake, my wife had wasabi, and my niece had sesame. We each bought one and planned to eat one box on the way back on the bullet train, but ended up eating while walking and getting full, so we brought the rest home and had it as a late-night snack. In January, when I visited Toyokawa Inari (Aichi Prefecture), I also had Inari sushi. The big difference is that in Kyoto, Inari sushi is triangular.

End-of-year family trip with four people in Kyoto. On the way back from Fushimi Inari, we found a rare Inari sushi specialty shop and decided to try it out. [Summary] Wasabi Inari: Juicy fried tofu filled with plenty of gentle broth, with a hint of spicy wasabi stems and fragrant yuzu-flavored vinegar rice. The more you chew, the more flavors come out, making it delicious. [Details] Wasabi Inari: 120 yen, triangular shape about 40x40mm. Two-bite size. The fried tofu is filled with plenty of broth, with a gentle and not too sweet or spicy flavor. (After finishing, there is enough broth to drip from the wrap.) Inside is a stimulating wasabi stem and fragrant yuzu-flavored vinegar rice. The more you chew, the more the flavors of the fried tofu and spicy wasabi stem come out, making it delicious.

There is a small inari sushi shop near the ticket gate for trains bound for Osaka at Keihan Fushimi Inari Station. They only offer takeout from their display case, with no seating available. I decided to try one while waiting for my train. The prices seemed a bit high for inari sushi, so I was cautious. I got a ginger inari sushi for 129 yen. However, I was shocked when I went to pay. They only accepted cash, which is unbelievable given the location and the fact that they don't even include the consumption tax in the price. There were hardly any Japanese people around, just a crowd of foreigners. It seems like they might be used to tourists buying their food, eating it on the ground, and then throwing away the packaging. The taste of the ginger inari sushi was actually quite good, with finely chopped pickled ginger sprinkled on top of the rice. I love pickled ginger, so I enjoyed it.

Opened right by the Osaka-bound ticket gates at Fushimi Inari Station on the Keihan Line, this takeout shop offers a wide variety of Inari sushi. I couldn't decide, so I ended up getting the Wasabi Inari for 129 yen (tax included) and the Shiitake and Kanpyo Inari for 162 yen (tax included). They put them in a paper bag for eating on the go, and the stamp on it is so cute. The Inari sushi was juicy and flavorful, with the broth soaking into the rice.

I bought some inari sushi at the Fushimi Inari Station on the Keihan Electric Railway on my way to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. There were no customers or staff in the shop, so I had to call out to someone. It was perfect timing because I was feeling a bit hungry. I chose the lotus root and green peppercorn inari out of the various options available. The texture of the lotus root was really good. Honestly, considering the size, it felt a bit pricey. But the ultimate spice, hunger, boosted my satisfaction level. I'm sure it would taste delicious even during normal times. Thank you for the meal.

Inari sushi was something I rarely ate, even if I saw it at convenience stores. However, since I was at Fushimi Inari, I decided to buy some as a souvenir. This kind of quality inari sushi is worth eating occasionally. I don't have anything like this in my neighborhood, so I'll probably continue to keep my distance from it.笑

The soup oozed out of the inari skin with a juicy sound! It was delicious. The taste of shiitake mushrooms and kampyo was new to me, but it was tasty.

Senboninari @ Fushimi Inari A shop selling Inari sushi at Fushimi Inari Station. It's just perfect! I bought a pack with three different kinds. Lotus root with sansho pepper, fried with wasabi flavor, and gold sesame with kampyo. All of them have juicy coating that overturns the greasy image of typical Inari sushi.

I visited on June 23rd. Today there was a soccer game in Kyoto, and since I had never been to Fushimi Inari, I decided to visit there and stop by here on the way back. This place is located near Fushimi Inari Station, and you can eat standing up, but you can also eat on the spot. I tried the seasonal eel chirashi inari. The vinegar rice was just right and delicious. It might be good for a quick snack.

When I got off at Fushimi Inari Station, I noticed a shop that caught my eye. It's Senbon Inari-san, located at the station exit. They serve creative Japanese-style inari sushi. On the way there, I couldn't stop due to the flow of people (..;) On the way back, the railroad crossing barriers came down, so I seized the opportunity (lol). Clutching my change, I dashed to the shop. I ordered one wasabi inari and one lotus root and green pepper inari. When I said I would eat them right away, they handed them to me in the simplest packaging. After moving by train, it was time for a midday drink... I mean, lunch, so I opted for a convenient quantity. In the slightly open space at the railroad crossing, I quickly tried them. I actually love inari sushi (^-^) Both types of inari, compared to those in Nagoya, were more subtly seasoned and less sweet, with an elegant taste. The dashi was seeping out, making it delicious. The way the wasabi was used was light, so it was a safe choice. The green pepper had a faint refreshing aroma, and the crispy lotus root added a nice touch. It's a convenient shop located at the station (^-^) It might be a well-received small gift as well.

Located outside the platform at Keihan Fushimi Inari Station, facing Yodoyabashi. When I passed by in early November last year, it was crowded with people. It's a shop without eating space. It's inari sushi, haha. I ordered three pieces with beef shigure. It cost 561 yen, which is quite expensive. I ate it at home. The common factor is the light broth and sweetness. This is excellent. You can see the beef pieces if you look closely. The wasabi on top is turned upside down, and it has a sharp taste. It's small and doesn't have much of a bite. In other words, it's expensive. I now understand why I was able to buy it without waiting in line.

I got off at Fushimi Inari Station on the Keihan line because I wanted to visit this place that I had seen in a magazine. Senbon Inari, located next to the station, is a specialty store for inari sushi. I left my husband on the platform and went to the shop alone. The shop is still new, so the exterior is clean and stylish. When I looked into the showcase, there were inari sushi in bite-sized packs and some that were already set. This time, I decided to order three regular-sized inari sushi based on my preference. They had Inari with dried gourd, wasabi, and ginger, each priced at 120 yen (excluding tax), which was quite reasonable. There were also slightly more expensive inari sushi, such as crab or beef soboro, priced over 250 yen each. In a previous review, it was mentioned that the inari sushi here is sweet, but compared to the Kanto region's inari sushi, I didn't find it particularly sweet. In fact, it felt quite light. When I asked my husband if it was sweet, he said, "Not at all." The inari sushi was juicy with plenty of broth, and the fried tofu was juicy. The balance of vinegar was good, and the spiciness of wasabi and the aroma of ginger were also good. I thought that if you could buy inari sushi at this price, it would be good. I don't think it's worth going out of your way to visit, but I thought it would be okay to stop by and buy it for a late-night snack when visiting Fushimi Inari. Thank you for the meal!
