The restaurant opened at 11:30, and I had a reservation for 11:30. I arrived 5 minutes early, but when I asked if I could wait inside due to the scorching sun, I was firmly refused. Also, even though there was nothing mentioned when I made the reservation, it turned out there was a 90-minute time limit. While I was still eating dessert, I was suddenly told, "The 1:00 reservation has arrived," and felt rushed to leave. It was disappointing that the food was delicious, but the service was not good. I didn't feel like going back again.

We used this place for a second party after a Bon festival gathering. Despite it being close to closing time, we were grateful for the attentive service. The pizza we ordered was delicious. They also had a good selection of stylish drinks. I enjoyed trying out the various non-alcoholic cocktails they offered. The location is convenient, being close to the station.

I visited around 12 o'clock without a reservation! The counter is set up in a narrow aisle with seats back to back. There seemed to be seats on the second floor as well. I sat on the counter opposite the kitchen due to timing. The tables were very small, so it was hard to fit a lot of dishes, but I managed to eat. Both the pizza and pasta were delicious.

Daniel's series, located in front of Kyoto Station, so it's convenient to visit. It was crowded on a weekday, so I couldn't make a reservation online, and ended up calling instead. The menu has a wide variety of pizzas, with clear descriptions of each item. I ordered pizza, chicken cutlet, and sweet potato mochi. When I collected three cards given at the time of reservation, we also received a complimentary appetizer, which we enjoyed. I wanted to order more, but the pizza and cutlet were so filling that we couldn't add anything else. The pizza was incredibly delicious, with a perfect balance of prosciutto and soft-boiled egg.

Located about a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Station, this restaurant is part of the Daniels chain that has several locations in Tokyo. I visited on a holiday when I had errands nearby and was looking for a quick lunch spot. I walked in and ordered the lunch special of a salad and a Margherita pizza for 1,100 yen. The salad was served in about 5 minutes, with simple flavors. Then, the pizza arrived in another 5 minutes. Daniels is known for its fresh pasta, but I was intrigued by the pizza. The pizza was quite simple in toppings and the size was just right for a satisfying meal. This is a casual pizza place that I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

On a slightly hot day, I was looking for something delicious for lunch and was drawn to a pizza shop. It was past 1 o'clock, so there were only two groups at the counter. There were a few groups of women having a girls' gathering at the table seats. This time, I ordered the lunch pizza set (1100 yen). The salad was simple with just lettuce, but the dressing was refreshing and tasty. The pizza was baked in front of me in the oven, and it was brought to me in about 5 minutes! It was quite large, and the dough was slightly thick and chewy! What stood out was that they served sparkling water instead of regular water. Personally, I like sparkling water, so that was a nice touch!

Just before noon on a Sunday. A narrow entrance with a long interior, typical of Kyoto. Across the street is a government building, so it's quiet and nice on holidays. There was a sign saying "Almost full today," but I asked anyway and was able to sit at the counter. By 12 o'clock, it was truly full, and people who came later were turned away. I ordered the Pasta Lunch A, but I think the menu is outdated because it wasn't beef tendon and Kujo green onion with yuzu pepperoncino, but eggplant and tomato ragu. It was delicious though. The complimentary water was carbonated, which was nice and Italian-like. The female staff on the floor seemed a bit awkward, but their effort was evident and left a good impression. Watching the order of the person next to me, the Mondo Lunch seems like a much better deal. I'll go for that next time.

This is a shop located in a back alley between Bic Camera and Omron in front of Kyoto Station. It seems to be less crowded even during lunchtime, probably because it is a bit away from the ticket gates. I ordered the pizza lunch for 1,100 yen and added 110 yen for iced coffee. I chose Margherita, which turned out to be tastier than I had imagined. The crust was thin but chewy with a nice crispy texture. They also used fresh basil as a topping. It was a delicious meal!

Located in front of Kyoto Station, this cute shop has adorable tableware. They also serve carbonated water, which is a nice touch. I had the pasta lunch for 1100 yen. I received a complimentary appetizer platter because I had accumulated reservation cards. The main store is delicious, but this one was also quite good!

I went out with a friend and ordered the "Recommended Mond Lunch" (appetizer assortment, soup, spinach and ham cream cheese pizza, panna cotta dessert, and tea) and the "Tierra Lunch" (appetizer assortment, soup, Tierra, panna cotta dessert, and tea) for the two of us. We shared the pizza and Tierra. The Tierra, which I tried for the first time, was like a soft paella with rice. The tender pork belly melted in my mouth. It was a holiday when we visited, so Kyoto Station and the surrounding area were crowded with tourists and school trips. Despite being relatively close to the station, this restaurant had fewer people passing by, so we were able to relax quite a bit. I would like to try the fresh pasta next time!

The dishes were served in stylish aqua-colored plates, which I actually use Daniel's plates at home. I bought the plates at a store near Nishi Hongan-ji Temple, and on the way back, I stopped by this restaurant near Kyoto Station to enjoy their course lunch.

I suddenly had to have a meal in Kyoto. I visited an Italian restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The restaurant had three floors and there were about three groups of customers, all small groups, making it lively and bustling. The dishes were ordered by the organizer, so many of them were unfamiliar to me, but there were many visually appealing dishes.
- Caesar salad with prosciutto: 1,100 yen
It was a good portion for 2-3 people. The taste was relatively orthodox, so it was safe, but I felt like the dressing could have had a bit more originality.
- Broccoli peperoncino: 550 yen
It would be good as a side dish for alcohol. Personally, I think it could use a bit more garlic flavor.
- Margherita extra: 2,200 yen
It feels more like a traditional Margherita. It seems like they put effort into making it, but it didn't quite come across to me. Therefore, I felt like the cost performance was a bit poor. I noticed that they pay attention to the dishes and cutlery. Especially, the dishes imported from Italy all have a bright and Italian atmosphere, and I personally think they have good taste. It's great that they invest in cost for disposable dishes, showing a casual yet stylish approach. The staff at the restaurant varied quite a bit. I found the female staff to be cheerful and efficient, which was better. The taste is not bad at all, but I felt that there was a slight imbalance, or rather, the attention to detail didn't come across to me in many dishes. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by for a light lunch at Kyoto Station. It was more like a cafe or bar, with outdoor seating and high chairs. The second floor seemed lively with customers, but we stayed on the first floor. We ordered the Pizza Lunch with salad for ¥1100, wondering if it would be enough. The pizzas (Creamy squid and spinach, BLT bacon lettuce tomato) were surprisingly full of toppings and delicious, with a great taste from the oven-baked crust. It was a quiet and nice atmosphere, with Christmas songs playing. The fact that they served sparkling water was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great spot near Kyoto Station for a casual lunch!

I visited around 18:30 on a regular day. There were no other customers on the first floor.
- Appetizer Plate
At this time, it was a complimentary appetizer service for my third visit. It was delicious!
- Garlic Broccoli?
- Quiche with macaroni?
- Small fish fritters?
- Caponata?
- Carrot salad-like dish
- Something with cheese
- Honey Lemon & Ginger Sour
At this time, I received a free drink for registering on LINE. The mango in it was delicious, even though the ginger flavor was not very strong.
- Water Buffalo Mozzarella and Parma Ham, Aiko Tomato Caprese Pizza for 2200 yen
The pizza was topped with edible flowers in yellow, pink, wine, and white colors. It looked perfect for a party.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. To avoid crowds, I made a lunch reservation for 11:30 am and visited. The interior of the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere. The food was delicious. As a sweet tooth, I wouldn't mind if they put a little more effort into the dessert and increased the price a bit. It may not be necessary to make a reservation on weekdays. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 12:10 and of course it was full. Had to wait for 20 minutes to get a seat at the counter. I was impressed that they served soda water. Ordered the pizza lunch and the Tiella lunch. The Gorgonzola pizza had a nice aroma and was delicious. The salad that came with the lunch was just lettuce, so it was okay. The Tiella had a gentle flavor, which was good. The appetizers were nothing special but not bad either. Had two craft beers, one with a citrus flavor which was tasty. Craft beers are delicious but always seem expensive. Overall, I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

I visited for the first time. I had always been curious about trying Tierra, so I asked for a date change even though it was inconvenient, and they kindly accepted. I was very happy! The dishes were plentiful and the appetizers got me excited. For the main dish, I tried the Tierra with two kinds - one with mussels and sweet shrimp. It was packed with mussels, sweet shrimp, and vegetables, but it was light and easy to eat. It was delicious even when I added the habanero sauce on the side. The staff were very friendly, and I had a great time during lunch. I definitely want to visit again. There were constantly customers coming in. It's a popular place, isn't it? I would like to try coming at night next time.

We decided to meet up at Kyoto Station, so our Kyoto friends chose a restaurant near the station for us. DANIEL'S LUCE is a popular Italian restaurant located on the 4th floor of Kyoto Tower Building Kitashinkan, directly connected to Kyoto Station underground. They offer a wide variety of draft beers from their impressive beer tower, along with their famous fresh pasta and a variety of bar menu items. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, typical of an Italian setting. We started with a highball and a platter of appetizers including prosciutto, marinated olives, and homemade soy milk cheese. Then we tried the Burrata Caprese, Caesar salad with ham, beef stewed in red wine, grape beef sirloin steak, Tuscan-style chicken ragout with onsen egg, marinated eggplant, and desserts such as black beer tiramisu, cannoli with ice cream, and gâteau chocolat with ice cream. It was a fun and enjoyable experience for all of us. The location, just a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Station, made it very convenient. DANIEL'S LUCE is definitely a place worth visiting.

Daniel's latest store, following LUCE, is located near Kyoto Station. The restaurant is in a standalone building past Bic Camera and APA Hotel, with a charming exterior. The layout includes a long, narrow counter area on the first and second floors, and table seating on the third floor. The space allows for some flexibility in layout, making it ideal for group gatherings, although the stairs may be a bit challenging for some. For this farewell party, we opted for the recommended "Mondo Course" (¥5,000) which includes 7 dishes with all-you-can-drink: - Assorted appetizers - Bomber Chicken - Seafood Vapour - Napoli-style wood-fired pizza - Signature fresh pasta - Popular spare ribs - Dessert (Panna Cotta) The spare ribs were different from what we had at LUCE, with individual cuts and not as tender. The Bomber Chicken felt more like beer snack wings, and overall, the cuisine seemed more international than authentic Italian, perhaps due to the party course. However, the standout was the pizza, with a delicious smoky flavor from the wood-fired oven and rich cheese. What impressed us even more was the service. They offered to create a custom label wine for groups of 10 or more, and the result exceeded our expectations. Not only could we personalize the label with photos and messages, but they also added a creative touch to the details. The guest of honor was thrilled with the gift. It's a unique and thoughtful idea that added to the overall experience. This restaurant is recommended for casual gatherings and farewell parties.

Wakadori Harami and Fuki no Tou Tomato Pasta at Daniel's Mondo in Kyoto's Shimogyo Ward. On this day, I worked in the office in the morning and had lunch a little early at the new Italian restaurant behind the office. I ordered the Wakadori chicken harami and Nagano-grown fuki no tou tomato pasta, a creative pasta dish that captures the feeling of spring. After the meal, I enjoyed a brief flower viewing in the park next door. Thank you for the delicious meal!
