Hello. I'm Keinsuke. Today, I would like to introduce a ramen restaurant called "Menya Nen-nosuke" located in the Kitano Tenmangu area. I had heard that you can enjoy a seriously delicious pudding made by a ramen shop, and I had been wanting to check it out for a while. The location is a bit hard to get to, being near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. If you go by train, you can take the train to "Kitano Hakubaicho" or "Kurama-guchi" stations. It's a bit of a walk from the station, so taking a bus might be a good option too. Searching for the restaurant using Google Maps, I found that it's quite hidden in a residential area with many similar traditional Kyoto houses lined up along the narrow streets, making it easy to get lost. There are no clear signs either, so be careful not to miss it! However, the hidden gem feeling adds a nice touch. I visited before 2 pm, and there were few customers, allowing me to relax comfortably. The interior of the restaurant, renovated from a traditional Kyoto house, is very stylish and cool. It has a modern atmosphere that makes you want to visit even for a date.

◎Wambo Pudding (650 yen)
I have tried puddings from various places, but this one is priced a bit higher compared to others. However, this high price tag gives me confidence that it must be worth it, raising my expectations. The pudding, served on a special Shimizu-yaki plate, is surprisingly large in size. It's a dessert pudding, so I thought it would be small, but it's quite substantial. The pudding competes solely on the taste of its ingredients, without relying on ice cream, cream, or vanilla. Made with Miyama milk and Wambo sugar, it has an elegant flavor. The caramel has a mild bitterness and a gentle sweetness that spreads in your mouth. The smooth texture goes down your throat smoothly.
◎Ramen (1000 yen)
The bowl is also beautiful and fits perfectly with the restaurant's atmosphere. The broth is based on "kombu" and "iriko" with added "katsuobushi," "urume-bushi," and "saba-bushi." The soy sauce is from Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture, and the kombu and katsuobushi are from Aichi Prefecture. The roasted pork is made with Kyoto's Mochi pork char siu. The homemade noodles have a crispy texture, made by blending four types of wheat.
<Summary>
It's rare to find a ramen shop that puts so much effort into pudding, so I highly recommend it to all pudding lovers. By the way, there is also an udon shop called "Bunsuke" nearby that serves pudding, so I want to visit there next time. Thank you for the meal.
