During a solo trip back from visiting my family in Shikoku, I decided to make a detour to enjoy the autumn leaves and take some transformation photos. I wasn't sure of the exact location, but I really wanted to experience riding a rickshaw. It was a great decision to ask for one, as it took me close to the entrance. I enjoyed delicious matcha and traditional Japanese sweets along with the picturesque autumn leaves, which was a refreshing break. It turned out to be a wonderful memory. I'm glad I took the leap and went. The Japanese sweets and matcha were delicious, but the highlight was definitely the autumn leaves. Thank you for the treat. I would love to visit again!

Location is perfect with no complaints! However, there is an entrance fee of about 2000 yen, and tea is an additional cost. You can't choose your sweets, as there seems to be only one type available. But you can have a wonderful time feeling the essence of Kyoto. I won't post any photos from Yusai-tei, as they are not related to this review, but you can take as many Instagram-worthy pictures as you like and be amazed!! (Check it out on Instagram, etc. lol)

On the second day of my Kyoto trip in June 2021, it was raining heavily in Arashiyama. Due to the state of emergency, there were no people crossing the Togetsukyo Bridge, creating a serene atmosphere in Kyoto. I walked past the Fukuda Art Museum and Arashiyama Yoshitomo towards the upstream area. After about a 5-minute walk, I arrived at a place where I was asked about my reservation. In normal Kyoto days, reservations might be essential. This place was an art gallery combined with a dyeing workshop. The view of the lush greenery in Arashiyama from the circular window was beautiful. The green reflected on the polished low table was also wonderful. I enjoyed matcha tea and Japanese sweets in front of this picturesque scenery. It was pure bliss! The entrance fee with matcha tea was two thousand yen.

It was a very pleasant time. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery while having tea. I listened to the sound of the river, the chirping of birds, and had a nice time. I had a photo taken with my favorite person. Thank you to the staff at the restaurant.
