Hello ( ̄Д ̄)ノ It's cold, isn't it? My body feels like it's freezing, and I'm starting to get hungry. I'm looking for something warm and filling to eat. So, I decided to visit Coco Kalbi Don and Soon Tofu specialty store Han Don Shinsaibashi Honten. I saw on TV that they have a mini Kalbi Don and Soon Tofu set, so I thought I'd give it a try for a late lunch. The place wasn't too crowded, and I used the ticket machine to order a mini Kalbi Don and Soon Tofu set with an extra raw egg topping. The food arrived quickly, and it was hot and steaming. The Soon Tofu had a nice balance of spiciness and umami flavor, and the Kalbi Don was sweet and savory. I added some shichimi spice for extra warmth. I finished off the meal by mixing in the raw egg. It was delicious and satisfying, warming me up on this chilly day. Now I'm energized and ready to tackle the rest of the day. Thank you for the meal.

Today's dinner was "Korean-style rice bowl" with "Hormone Ramen Sun Tofu set". Personally, this is my favorite Sun Tofu menu. It had been 5 months since my last visit, but as it's getting colder, I want to visit more often!

After a long time, I had a delicious Korean bowl at 11:00. I arrived right on time and sat down immediately. I enjoyed it while sweating. It gets crowded quickly at lunchtime, but the turnover is fast so you only have to wait a little bit if you line up. I received a juice service for adding a LINE friend.

On Thursday, August 10th, before the summer vacation, I visited the original Han-Don restaurant, Han-Don Shinborikawa Honten, along Fushimi, Shinborikawa Street in Kyoto for a business trip. Upon arriving around noon, the restaurant was packed with a long line at the ticket machine. I purchased the Upper Kalbi Don for 980 yen and a salad for 120 yen from the machine. After waiting for about 15 minutes inside the restaurant, I was seated. The Upper Kalbi Don arrived shortly after. The thick slices of grilled Upper Kalbi were impressive and delicious. The tender meat, rich in flavor, paired with the savory sauce, made it hard to stop eating. I quickly finished the meal and felt completely satisfied. The standard Kalbi Don with thin slices of meat is also flavorful, but the juicy and tender Upper Kalbi is truly exceptional. This meal gave me the stamina to finish my final tasks before summer vacation. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I wanted to eat something hearty, so I went to Han Don. The restaurant was bustling, with about 80% of the tables occupied. You buy a meal ticket, write your name, and wait to be seated by the staff. Some customers didn't write their names, which made the system a bit confusing. It would be smoother if this process was made clearer. As for the taste, it was perfect! The mayonnaise went really well with it, and eating Han Don felt a bit sinful but absolutely delicious.

For lunch, I went to Han Dong. It was past lunchtime, so there were plenty of empty seats. The system is to pay at the ticket machine first and then hand over the ticket. I had some bad luck because when I put in a bill, it came back, so I had to switch to another ticket machine, and then I got coins back, so it took some time, haha. Luckily, the staff helped me. They said the cold noodles had just started, so I came to eat them. I've had regular cold noodles before, so I chose the spicy cold noodles from Korea and a mini kalbi bowl set. Mayonnaise as a topping is a must. They said to mix the spicy cold noodles well before eating. It was delicious, but a bit spicy for me since I'm not good with spicy food. I thought I could handle the sweet and spicy sauce, but it was spicy.

After a long time, I came here and usually get takeout, but this time I ate in the restaurant! The freshly made food is really delicious! I wonder if they make their own mayonnaise here? My kids love it so much they always ask for extra! It leaves a strong smell afterwards, so maybe it's best to visit on a day off. It's super tasty though! Also, the restaurant is really cold inside so be careful not to wear light clothes!

Before 3 o'clock on Sunday. It's located across from Kyocera's headquarters on Nishihorikawa Street. Upon researching, it seems to be a fast food chain that specializes in yakiniku (grilled meat). Yakiniku Yaruki, the original yakiniku restaurant on Nishihorikawa, has expanded nationwide with this chain of rice bowl restaurants. I used to frequent Yakiniku Yaruki when my children were young, back when they didn't offer all-you-can-eat options, but the food was cheap and delicious. As soon as you enter, there is a ticket machine where you purchase your meal ticket. This time, I tried their recommended Kalbi bowl. It's like a yakiniku version of a beef bowl, but since they cook the meat after you order, it takes a little time before it's served. The bowl itself had a generous amount of meat, a good balance of rice and vegetables, and was very delicious. It's convenient being open all day and in a great location, so I might come back if I have to work on a holiday.

Today, I had a slightly late dinner and it was a little cold, so I decided to have something warm. I went for a "Korean bowl" which consisted of a beef bowl and a tofu with intestines dish. Lately, I've been having a lot of tofu with intestines ramen sets, so it was a nice change to have a beef bowl again. It was delicious as always. The tofu dish helped warm me up too.

I had errands in Fushimi from the afternoon today, so I went to "Kandon" for lunch. I have been a regular customer since they opened, but I have never tried anything other than the Kalbi bowl and Sundubu. Today, I ordered the "Karaage set meal" for the first time. The karaage was lightly seasoned and went well with mayonnaise, which I personally liked. Although it came with yangnyeom, I prefer mayonnaise, so I enjoyed it with mayonnaise. However, even though everything looked delicious, I still think the Kalbi bowl and Sundubu at "Kandon" are the best choices. Next time, I will go for either the Kalbi bowl or Sundubu!

I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time. It faces a main street and the storefront sign is just so appetizing. I finally went in. I ordered the most popular item, the Kalbi Don for 610 yen. I shamelessly devoured it and finished it right away. It was packed with fat and had a great texture in my mouth. That's all.

For lunch, I tried the Green Onion Salted Kalbi Bowl, which was a limited edition item at the store! I love mayonnaise, so I had to add it as a topping. The Kalbi bowl had a rich flavor, but the Green Onion Salted Kalbi Bowl was lighter and delicious.

On Friday, January 27th, Kyoto was hit by a heavy snowstorm due to the influence of the winter storm. I visited Satchan's Kalbi Bowl, a popular restaurant in Kyoto known for its Kalbi bowl and Sundubu, which I used to visit when I worked in Osaka. Before noon on a weekday, amidst the snowstorm, the parking lot was full and there was a long line at the food ticket machine inside the restaurant. I wrote my name on the waiting list, purchased tickets after a 10-minute wait, and handed them to the staff. I watched as the thinly sliced Kalbi was grilled over charcoal at the counter kitchen while waiting, which only increased my appetite. When the Kalbi bowl arrived, the aroma of the charcoal grill, the flavor of the homemade soy sauce dressing, and the sweetness and texture of the thinly sliced Kalbi's marbled fat were irresistible. The combination of deliciousness and nostalgia made it hard to stop eating. This was probably the first time in over 3 years since I had Satchan's Kalbi bowl, and I deeply savored the unchanged deliciousness. I am grateful for this wonderful bowl that allows you to easily enjoy a satisfying meat dish for lunch on a weekday and also gives you a boost of energy! Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/

It seems that Sacchan's Korean bowl, which originated in Kyoto, is a chain centered around Kyoto. I recently visited the main store on Horikawa Street after hearing that they had added a new level of spiciness to their Sundubu. I ordered the Oyster Sundubu with maximum spiciness for 980 yen plus an additional 200 yen for the extra spiciness. The bubbling hot bowl was filled with large oysters. As for the spiciness, it was quite hot from the first bite. The spiciness was at a level of moderately spicy, with more of a stimulating pain than a savory flavor, similar to the spiciness of the Peyang Gekikara series. If you like those, you will enjoy this level of spiciness. I'm not a fan of capsaicin, but the Sundubu itself was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant's roots date back to 1988 when it was founded in Gion as a yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant called "Hotori." Over the years, it expanded to include "Yakiniku Yaruki" in 1997, and in 2010, a specialty tofu restaurant called "Sundubu" and a dish called "Korean bowl." Now, it has grown to a chain with 70 locations nationwide. Even arriving at 1:30 pm for lunch, the parking lot was full and there was a line inside. I chose the set menu for 990 yen, which included hormone sundubu and a small yakiniku bowl. The hormone sundubu arrived in a sizzling hot stone pot, making a strong impression. The soup was delicious even though it was piping hot. The yakiniku bowl had a strong garlic flavor that packed a punch. It was tasty. I might try the white sundubu next time. Another delicious meal today. Thank you for the meal.

This was my 12th time in Kyoto for work. I ended up running late, so I had lunch around 5 pm. This place is a chain restaurant in Kyoto. The main dishes are Sundubu and Yakiniku Don, and there are quite a few combinations of them. I bought the "Hormone Sundubu and Yakiniku Don for 990 yen" from the ticket machine. The meat was grilled carefully on the grid, and the Sundubu was made in individual pots. It takes time and effort. The taste was excellent. Despite being a chain restaurant, it was not to be underestimated. It's a great place for casual dining. I enjoyed my meal today as well. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch on Sunday (^o^)/ It is located about a 15-minute walk from Takeda Station on the subway. It is located along a main street with a large parking space, making it easy for those with cars to use. You purchase your meal ticket first and then are guided to your seat. The place was bustling with customers coming and going. Both the counter and tables were almost full. What my daughter and I ate that day was Sundubu (beef tendon) for 640 yen and Kalbi Don (large serving) for 890 yen. Both were served in about 10 minutes. The Sundubu was piping hot!! It had a moderate spiciness and was delicious ♡ By the way, there is an additional charge, but you can also adjust the spiciness. The Kalbi Don had a strong flavor. If you eat it alone, you might get a little tired of it (^_^;) Sharing it with my daughter was just right. It's recommended for when you want to eat quickly and reasonably! Thank you for the meal ★

We used the restaurant for lunch with our family. The store faces a busy street, so it gets quite crowded during lunchtime. We ordered the following: - Kalbi don - Mini don (Bibimbap) and beef tendon tofu set - Kids meal set We purchased our orders from a ticket machine, using the menu at the top as a reference. However, we only found out about the "Mixed Udon" when we were seated and saw the menu in front of us. If we had known about the "Mixed Udon" beforehand, I think we would have ordered it instead of the kids meal for my daughter, so it's disappointing. As for the taste, the quality of the meat is average considering the price. The flavor is very strong, almost overpowering. It feels like the intense flavor is covering up for the lower quality of the meat.

I came across a restaurant called "Kandon" in Yamashina, and when I looked it up online, I found out that it is a chain restaurant offering Korean dishes such as pure tofu, grilled meat, and bibimbap. I visited the main store on Shinhorikawa Street, not the Yamashina branch. I was interested in the stamina dishes, but since it was before 2 p.m., I opted for the healthy Hormone Soon Tofu set meal. I ordered it from the ticket machine and sat at the counter. Despite it being past the lunch peak hour, the restaurant was still quite popular with about 80% of the seats filled. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. The Soon Tofu was simple with tofu, hormone, glass noodles, a pinch of vegetables, and two clams. I wish there were more vegetables, and the spiciness was mild, with a flavorful soup base. The rice was cooked normally, slightly firm, which paired well with the Soon Tofu. The pickled Chinese cabbage was light and refreshing, a good palate cleanser (not kimchi). I enjoyed the hot tofu and soup, and managed to finish it deliciously. I felt satisfied, but I thought adding egg and kimchi as standard toppings to the Soon Tofu would be nice. Next time, I'll try a hearty meat set meal. It's a shame that there are no branches in Osaka other than in Hirakata. I'll visit another Kandon restaurant somewhere else.

I visited for the first time. It was around 7:30 PM and the place seemed quite busy. I purchased a meal ticket with some expectations. I ordered the Hormone Sundubu Tofu Set Meal (760 yen including tax) with additional toppings of fried chicken (80 yen including tax), tteokbokki (150 yen including tax), and raw egg (80 yen including tax). In conclusion, it was a disappointing experience. The Sundubu soup lacked depth of flavor. I used to be a fan of Sundubu and have eaten it at many different places, so I could immediately tell that something was missing. It seems like a chain restaurant with a low-price strategy, so I guess it's understandable... Also, I realized later that I didn't see the raw egg anywhere. I feel a bit skeptical.

I came here for lunch because I wanted to eat cold noodles. I heard that they also have cold noodles in their Korean rice bowl, so I decided to try the white cold noodles. It had a refreshing taste and was smooth. It was very satisfying. Since I came for the Korean rice bowl, I also ordered a mini kalbi bowl. I added mayonnaise. The kalbi, grilled over charcoal, was delicious.
