The drink menu includes Mexican upbeat beers and margaritas, among many others. I couldn't resist ordering the one with a skull drawing on it, it had a dangerous scent but was so good. The "Day of the Dead" amber ale for 780 yen, in a cute skull bottle. It has a unique flavor that is hard to describe, but delicious. It's like a drink for the Day of the Dead, similar to Obon. The frozen margarita looks cute and can be enjoyed indoors even in winter. They also have rotisserie chicken spinning outside the store, I got a half size with various dips and enjoyed it all. They also serve Mexican pizza and avocado dip tacos. It was a great experience immersing myself in the Mexican atmosphere. They also have a happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00, where you can get a taco set with Mexican beer and two types of tacos for 1000 yen. You can find a different perspective on this restaurant in my blog.

This restaurant specializes in Mexican cuisine such as tacos. The establishment seems quite spacious, with three floors suggesting a large seating capacity. For lunch, they offer a healthy and delicious one-plate meal with plenty of vegetables, not just chicken. Upon arrival, the restaurant was full, but the staff provided polite guidance on the waiting process, leaving a good impression. While waiting outside, the ground floor seating area is open and emits a pleasant aroma. After a 10-minute wait, we were seated at the counter. The interior is bright and colorful, with wall paintings reportedly done by the owner. I chose the chicken and taco plate lunch option, which came with a delicious guacamole appetizer. The main plate was packed with vegetables, some of which were mixed with tacos. I ordered both chicken and beef tacos. The shredded chicken taco was light and refreshing, while the beef taco had a rich, savory flavor. The rotisserie chicken thigh was well-cooked and flavorful. The tomatoes served as a side can also be used as a sauce. The lunch was priced at just over 1000 yen, but the quality and quantity of the food were worth it. The generous portion of vegetables provided a well-balanced meal. Despite being quite busy, I would definitely consider returning if the timing is right.

Today is my wife's birthday. Our youngest daughter has finished the national athletic meet qualifiers and returned to Tokyo, so it was just me, my eldest son, and eldest daughter celebrating with her at a Mexican restaurant near our house called "Roti Chicken and Jackie Tacos". Despite passing by the restaurant every other day, this was our first visit. The restaurant was packed and we couldn't enter without a reservation. We asked the staff for recommendations and let the kids choose the dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were satisfied with our first experience of Mexican cuisine. We had the Mexican course (5480 yen including tax) which included a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday, almost full even on the third floor. Reservations are a must on weekends. The menu had good portion sizes and flavors. The rotisserie chicken and Angus beef grill were particularly tasty. The staff, although young, provided good service and made the dining experience enjoyable. The only downside was the limited number of restrooms, causing some congestion. Overall, it's a great place for a lively gathering with a large group.

There is a stamp card, and after eating lunch 5 times, you can get a lunch for @1,100 yen (tax included) for free. ☆I will definitely go back after this visit.

I was looking at the menu in front of a lunch restaurant serving chicken over rice and rotisserie chicken when a friendly female server said there's a seat available upstairs. The interior had a Tex-Mex theme and all the customers were ordering tacos. I tried the appetizer of tortilla chips and avocado dip, and the main dish of chicken over rice was delicious and filling. Even though I'm on a diet, I ended up eating too much (lol). After paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, the same female server saw me off until I turned the corner, saying "Thank you very much!" It felt like a traditional Kyoto inn, which was nice.

I was in a rush as most places had already finished serving lunch, but then I stumbled upon Roti Chicken and Jackie Tacos. To start, I had some guacamole and taco chips. The guacamole had a mild saltiness, but personally, I felt like it needed a bit more lime juice. The main lunch plate was very generous and chaotic, with lots of vegetables. It almost looked like a spiced curry dish, and it was hard to distinguish the different ingredients. I poured a generous amount of tomato salsa over the tacos and they were delicious. The hard taco with chili con carne was my favorite. The famous Roti Chicken was also very flavorful and spicy, which I loved. After paying, the staff bowed and thanked me multiple times, which was really heartwarming. It had a fruity and tangy flavor, but I couldn't quite identify what was in it. After a while, the rotisserie chicken and taco plate arrived. The portions were quite generous, and the tacos were loaded with fillings. The chicken looked delicious with a nice char on the outside. I chose the set menu where you can pick two types of tacos. There were about 10 different kinds of tacos to choose from, and after much deliberation, I settled on the beef and bean tacos. The food arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was a generous portion! The plate was beautifully arranged with colorful tacos, a mountain of salad, a piece of chicken, salsa sauce, and rice. The chili beef taco was tender and flavorful, cooked with beef that seemed like stewed brisket. The bean taco had a paste-like consistency instead of whole beans, topped with lettuce and a mayo-like sauce. Each taco had a different type of shell. The salsa sauce wasn't too spicy, with a refreshing tomato and onion flavor that even those who don't like spicy food would enjoy. The restaurant's recommended roasted baby chicken was amazing! It looked like regular chicken, but it was tender and juicy, with a rich flavor. I would definitely order it as a standalone dish. After over 20 years, I unexpectedly encountered it in Kyoto. The taste of the cocoa fruit is rich, with a refined sweetness. This dish is completely unique to Japan and incredibly delicious.
