When it gets hot, the symptoms of my designated rare disease worsen, and unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits my condition. I had to be hospitalized for treatment in April-May after being hospitalized in September and January last year. Your supportive comments were a source of strength for me during my hospitalization, and I am truly grateful. I was discharged in early May, but the tests in late May were not good, and the doctor mentioned the possibility of hospitalization. The tests in June led to further tests in July, and it seems likely that I will be hospitalized in July due to worsening condition, but it will be after 2 weeks of receiving the COVID vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm the vaccine schedule, but Sapporo City's vaccination schedule for those under 65 was slightly shortened to end by the end of February next year. Those under 64 with underlying conditions are prioritized, and vaccination vouchers are being sent out from July. Prime Minister Suga stated that vaccinations for those aged 65 and over will be completed by July this year, but both the first and second dose vaccination rates in Hokkaido are the lowest in the country. Hokkaido has the lowest vaccination rate in the country. As a result, the number of deaths in Hokkaido is 30-40% higher than that of Tokyo every day. Despite this, marathon events for the Olympics will be held in Sapporo. While Tokyo is progressing with vaccinations for younger people, Sapporo is lagging behind in vaccinating the elderly. What could be the cause of this significant difference? Thank you for your continued support. [July 2021] "Katoshoten" is a diner that focuses on using local ingredients. "Katoshoten Le Trois Store" is a takeout specialty store produced by "Katoshoten," offering bento boxes and side dishes. It opened on July 16, 2021. I visited for the first time with my usual companion. The store is located in the Odori area of Sapporo's Chuo Ward on the first floor of Le Trois. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. I visited before 10 am on a weekday. There were about 7 types of bento boxes available that day, similar to the Rasora store. Unfortunately, my favorite "Beef and Onion Steak Sauce Stir-Fry Bento" was not available yet. Instead, I chose the "Demiburger Bento 680 yen." The bento is a two-tiered box. Demiburger Bento 2-stage 2-stage bento box The upper tier is side dishes, and the lower tier is rice Weight Actual measurement Upper tier 130g (after removing the windbag) Lower tier 191g (after removing the windbag) Total 321g (after removing the windbag) 321g is a bit light, but it's a good portion. [Upper tier] A gentle-tasting hamburger made from a mixture of beef and pork with demi sauce Vegetables Red paprika, pumpkin, shimeji mushrooms, etc. [Lower tier] The rice uses Fukagawa-grown "Yumepirika" White rice The ratio of white rice to brown rice is 9:1 Price 680 yen (tax included) Welcome Drink for the first 100 customers A refreshing lemonade The "Demiburger Bento" is a healthy and satisfying bento. The two-tiered box keeps the rice clean and enjoyable. With a content weight of 320g and priced at 680 yen, it may seem a bit light, but it's understandable given the focus on using local ingredients. It's perfect for those with a small appetite or on a diet, or as a light lunch. If you're younger, you might need two (1360 yen). I had no problem finishing it for lunch. (laughs) The interior of the store was warm, so I refreshed my throat with the "Welcome Drink." It's a nice service. I wonder which bento I'll try next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.
