kikunari
Today is the first day of the pre-festival of the Gion Festival in Kyoto. Last year, I gave up because it was too hot, but this year I mustered up the courage to come. I lined up for 200 meters to buy the Chimaki of the Naginata Hoko float, just managing to purchase it before they sold out. I also lined up to get a commemorative stamp on the packaging of the Chimaki, and then climbed on top of the Naginata Hoko float, feeling overwhelmed with emotion. Before I knew it, it was already lunchtime, so I headed to my usual spot, Kimura. I arrived 20 minutes before they opened, and there were already 8 people in line. At 12 o'clock, they opened! I ordered "cold sake 800 yen", "pork loin 3300 yen", and "rice 200 yen". I took a sip of the cold sake first - it was crisp and refreshing, perfect for someone sweating a lot like me. Then, I mixed lard, onions, broth, and water, added a bit of meat, quickly cooked it, dipped it in egg, and the deliciousness spread in my mouth. Next, I added tofu, green onions, shirataki noodles, and wheat gluten, placed some meat on top, sprinkled sugar, and waited while sipping on my sake. It turned out pretty good, although it was a bit salty this time. But it was delicious, so I'll let it slide. I enjoyed my meal today as well. Thank you for the delicious food.
