Limited in quantity, the appearance of the lobster Pescaatore is impressive, and it has a generous portion. The lobster is very firm and delicious♡ The hearty pound steak is also large and tender, making it a menu item that is perfect for Instagram. The carpaccio assortment is colorful, fresh, and offers great value for money. We also enjoyed the four varieties of mushrooms that came with it. The oven-baked pizza was chewy and incredibly delicious. For dessert, we had the Catalana. It was rich, creamy, and delicious until the very last bite.

Located near Kyoto Station, this Italian restaurant is nestled at the base of Kyoto Tower. It's right across a major intersection, making it easy to find. You can also access it through an underground passage, so you don't have to worry about the rain. I made a reservation for a table and ordered a la carte. The staff were very friendly, taking our orders quickly and making recommendations. The restaurant operates on a mobile order system, so we only interacted with the staff for our initial drinks. The appetizer plate with five different dishes was simple yet delicious, thanks to the high-quality ingredients and careful preparation. The ratatouille with summer vegetables was especially outstanding. The pizza topped with eggs loved by Bismarck and plenty of prosciutto was so tasty that it made me crave for a drink. I was too full to try the dessert, which was a shame. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Second visit. You can drink alcohol in a cheap and casual atmosphere. The all-you-can-drink options include Asahi's Marueff beer and a variety of chu-hai drinks, which are quite satisfying. The food is average, so it's best not to have high expectations.

I visited an Italian BAR called KIMURAYA in Kyoto near the station during the second half of May. The restaurant is located in a building across the road from Kyoto Tower, with seating available on the 1st and 2nd floors for a total of 154 seats. Despite the bustling atmosphere, I was able to secure a seat after a short wait. I started with a highball and a salad with arugula and prosciutto before enjoying a delicious pizza topped with a runny egg. The restaurant is run by KIDS HOLDINGS, a company that operates various izakayas and eateries, and attracts a younger crowd in their 20s and 30s. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience before heading back home on the Shinkansen.

I used a course with all-you-can-drink option. The dishes themselves were nothing special, just average for the price, but the all-you-can-drink option was a great deal as it was unlimited time on weekdays. There were some delays in getting orders served, but overall good service.

I was looking for a restaurant near Kyoto Station where I could make a same-day reservation, and found this place. When I arrived a little before 6:00 pm, there were only a few groups, but it quickly became crowded. I had chosen the 980 yen all-you-can-drink option when making the reservation, so even though I drank a lot, it only cost me about 3000 yen when split among everyone. We ordered using QR codes. I was a little surprised by the huge portion of fried potatoes, but the young staff did their best to finish them. I had two glasses of draft beer, white wine, a highball, and sake, enjoyed chatting with my friends, and was very satisfied.

- Carpaccio -> Light and delicious - Spicy Fried Potatoes -> Spicier than expected - Assorted Sausages -> Should be eaten hot with basil, chorizo, and cheese - Cheese Fry -> Mozzarella cheese stretches - Sea Urchin Cream Pasta -> Tasty but pasta was too hard (lol) - Overall, it feels like a casual Italian izakaya popular among university students. The taste is not bad overall, but it has a slightly cheap feel.

When a few friends from Tokyo were coming to visit, I searched on Tabelog for a place near Kyoto Station to meet up for a quick meal. I found a place that allowed online reservations for about an hour later, and they accepted T-Point as well. However, I was skeptical about their claim of being cost-effective. Even though the meat dish cost 2200 yen, the portion was small and came with mostly potatoes. The pasta seemed like it was made from a standard recipe and was priced at over 1000 yen. I felt that they didn't put much effort into their dishes. The drinks were also quite expensive. The crab foam beer and sparkling wine were poured generously, but at 700 yen, it felt overpriced. Additionally, they required customers to place orders through a QR code without providing any explanation, which was confusing. Despite the restaurant being empty, they enforced a 2-hour time limit and last order, giving off a sense of poor management. Even if they cater mainly to tourists, they should improve their service to leave a better impression of Kyoto. I do not recommend this place at all. Just a heads up!

I came here after a long time! I used to come here often, but it's been a while since I last visited. We ordered a Carpaccio assortment of 3 kinds, Anchovy Potato, 3 kinds of sausages, Wagyu Bolognese Fettuccine, Domestic beef steak, and Chicken and mushrooms Ajillo. The Anchovy Potato is always a must-order for me! I remember that on this day, we were friends on the official LINE account and got a great deal on all-you-can-drink. Among the dishes we ordered this time, the sausages, pasta, and Anchovy Potato were particularly good!

Located just north of Kyoto Station, this restaurant is very convenient for catching the Shinkansen or trains on time. The entrance has a casual yet stylish atmosphere with a spacious interior featuring wood tones and red accents, creating a slightly sophisticated and calming ambiance. This time, we opted for the 4500 yen course which includes all-you-can-drink. We started with a toast of Sangria Roja and Pineapple Soda. The course included 4 types of appetizers and a total of 7 dishes, making it a great value for money. The dishes served were not only visually appealing but also delicious, exceeding expectations for the price. The Bagna Cauda was particularly tasty, and the Tuna Rare Cutlet was cooked to perfection. The Quattro Formaggi pizza came with a honey container, allowing us to drizzle as much honey as we liked, which was a nice touch. The Bolognese pasta was generous in portion and flavor, and the dessert, consisting of Cheesecake and Cocoa Cake, was also satisfyingly large. Overall, this restaurant offers high-quality dishes, generous portions, and excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place for a meal near Kyoto Station. It was truly the best cost-effective creative Italian bar in Kyoto.

I couldn't go to the restaurant I booked due to a flight delay, so I searched for a place after 10 PM and found one! They were offering beer, highball, and lemon sour for only 1 yen per glass no matter how many you order! I thought there must be a catch, but when I went in, they said each person had to order two drinks, which was fine because it's a common rule at many places. I ordered various dishes like eggplant gratin, tomato caprese, carpaccio trio, and cabbage with anchovy. The eggplant gratin was delicious, the caprese had a satisfying amount, and the carpaccio trio was tasty even though it was missing salmon. The cabbage with anchovy was a great deal for 380 yen with a generous portion. The beer was satisfying, not just a malt beverage, and the highball was made with Black Nikka whiskey. The lemon sour might have been non-alcoholic. Despite the late hour, the staff was kind and made it a very pleasant experience. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I was searching for a place near the station to have a light drink before heading home, and I came across a 1 yen campaign?? Beer, highball, and sour for 1 yen!? I decided to check it out and went there. Instead of just ordering the 1 yen drinks, I opted for the 90-minute all-you-can-drink for 600 yen. Still a good deal. However, the staff seemed a bit understaffed for the number of customers, so there were some delays in taking orders and serving drinks. But for 600 yen, I guess it's understandable. The food was simple and focused on the natural flavors, like the perfectly cooked meat and slightly over-seasoned potatoes. The caprese, on the other hand, was a disappointment with a huge difference between the menu illustration and actual presentation. Despite that, overall, it was not bad. It's a good spot for leisurely chatting over beer and sours, especially considering its convenience near the station.

I went shopping at Kyoto Station for the first time in a while, so I decided to eat out. The restaurant is located in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the Porta underground shopping area, right across from Kyoto Tower. Even during the rainy season, you won't get wet in the rain, so I highly recommend it. The interior of the restaurant is open and stylish, with a wide selection of wines on display. There is also hand sanitizer at the entrance, and the interior is clean and reassuring. I wanted to start with a beer, but I ended up ordering their famous overflowing sparkling wine for 700 yen. The handsome waiter poured it into the glass for me. The appetizer was focaccia bread (all-you-can-eat). I couldn't decide on the wine-appropriate dish, but I love cheese, so I started with that. I ordered a cheese platter for 490 yen, cream cheese marinated in soy sauce for 390 yen, and potato salad for 490 yen. The combination of blue cheese with honey was amazing, and I loved the cream cheese marinated in soy sauce. The classic potato salad was consistently delicious. In addition, I ordered the spicy fried potatoes for 690 yen (limited quantity, made with buffalo mozzarella cheese), Margherita pizza for 1490 yen, hearty pound steak for 2000 yen, Margherita pizza for 980 yen, and Quattro Formaggi pizza for 1280 yen (made with four types of cheese). (The pizza can also be taken out, so I brought it home.) I recommend the hot oven-baked pizza, which is a great value and has a delicious, gooey cheese topping. The hearty pound steak was also amazing! The skewered lean meat was served in a hearty manner - both visually and in taste. The steak sauce at this restaurant was delicious. I ate so much and felt happily full, but I reheated the pizza I brought home and enjoyed it again at home. Thank you for the meal.

The decision to use this restaurant was based on its proximity to the station and the quality of the food. We opted for the anniversary course and were able to celebrate in a private room, which was nice. However, despite being in a private room, we couldn't really have a quiet time as the restaurant was quite lively. As soon as we sat down, we were asked if we wanted the anniversary course, which I would have preferred to be confirmed when my partner was present. The food was delicious and each dish was served with a bit of a break in between, so we ended up quite full. The variety of drinks was good too. The staff's friendliness was not exceptional, but overall it was a good experience.

The most impressive thing was how fast the drinks were served, probably because we were sitting at the counter seats. Also, the restaurant seemed to have mostly female customers. The interior was stylish, and the menu had a wide variety of dishes and drinks. For those who enjoy drinking, the all-you-can-drink option may feel like a good deal. By the way, I paid with PayPay.

In such a place near Kyoto Station, there was an Italian restaurant! I always walked by here and didn't know it was here. It was just after opening, so there weren't many customers, but during busy times, reservations would be better. I ordered Carbonara, Quattro Formaggi, Cheese Fries, Fried Potatoes, and Karaage. The Carbonara was Roman style and personally I didn't like it much, but it wasn't bad! The Quattro Formaggi was small for the price, like a frozen pizza you bake at home, a bit disappointing. If you don't pay attention to the pizza dough, you can't beat other shops that do. The Cheese Fries had a lot of quantity as indicated, so I had high expectations. And there was a mountain of potatoes! I chose cheese as the topping. However, when it cooled down, the potatoes were a bit tough, not crispy or like whole fried potatoes, so it was a bit hard to eat. The Karaage was also a huge portion! And it was crispy! It was more like fried chicken than Karaage, with a slightly spicy color and taste. The restaurant was one where you could refuse the appetizer, so luckily I didn't have to pay for something I wouldn't eat. The food prices were relatively cheap and okay, but as a solo diner, the staff were a bit cold, which was disappointing.

After work in Kyoto, I stopped by a shop called "Italian BAR KIMURAYA Kyoto". This shop seems to be an Italian bar operated by the Tokyo food and beverage group "KIDS HOLDINGS", which also operates multiple food and beverage formats such as hot pot restaurants, chicken dishes, yakiniku, and izakaya. There are many shops in Tokyo, but it seems that there is only one in the Kansai region, specifically in Kyoto. The location of the shop is on the first floor of a building located near the Kyoto Tower Building. I chose this shop because it is conveniently located in front of Kyoto Station for my next move. The shop was quite popular, with a mix of customers in their twenties. I sat at the counter and ordered a Black Nikka Highball for a light drink. The shop was already filling up quickly, with various seating options available. I also ordered a mixed appetizer plate with five different dishes. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was lively, making it a nice stop after work.

This is a stylish Italian bar in front of Kyoto Station. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice and I enjoyed a relaxing meal. I sat at the counter and could catch a glimpse of the person making pizza, which added to the Italian dining experience. The food was delicious, starting from the complimentary ham. The freshly baked pizza was chewy and satisfying. The Tuna, Salmon, and Avocado Tartare was topped with a bit of caviar, giving it a fancy touch. I love salmon and avocado, so this dish was perfect for me. It's a great place to enjoy Italian cuisine in a stylish setting, perfect for a calm drink or a date with your partner.

Two of us, both women, used this restaurant for the first time. We ordered the 4000 yen course which includes a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option, and you can order additional drinks through the app. The food and drinks were served very quickly. The dishes were portioned for two people on one plate, which was nice for sharing. Each dish, from appetizers to dessert, had just the right amount for us. It might be a bit small for couples though, an extra dish would have been appreciated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing, with seats arranged in a way that you don't feel crowded by neighboring tables. The food was overall light and easy to eat. With the course menu, you can focus on conversation which is nice. Thank you for the meal!
