The mango sauce adds a refreshing touch to the bottled panna cotta, which is also delightful. It's rare to find such a cost-effective Italian restaurant in this area.

It's located very close to Daimaru, with table seating on the second floor, and group seating on the third floor. They also have restrooms. On this day, I had the "Penne with summer vegetable ragout and Iberico pork lard - ¥1650," "Fried young ayu fish with barley and watercress risotto - ¥1200," "Pancetta carbonara - ¥1580," and the appetizer assortment. The fried young ayu fish coated in rice flour had a light and crispy texture, with a slightly bitter taste and a nice chewy texture that paired perfectly with the risotto. And I was torn between ordering the sea urchin capellini and the summer vegetable penne, but the staff recommended the latter. The aged ham made from pork back fat, lardo, did a great job adding richness to the sweetness of the summer vegetables. With this seasoning, I could eat summer vegetables endlessly...it was incredibly delicious! There were dishes that I thought were really delicious and others that were just good. Depending on the dishes you choose, opinions may vary. I had a good impression, so I would probably order the seasonal recommendations next time. The staff were friendly, and they had a great selection of delicious wines, so if I feel like having Italian food again during my trip to Kyoto, I would definitely visit this restaurant. I chose bacon and broccoli in cream sauce for my pasta. The portion was generous and I was very satisfied.
