In the cold winter season, the perfect ingredient has to be "oysters," right? I was planning to eat a meat curry, but when I saw the sign hanging on the wall, I suddenly craved oysters. I ordered the curry with plenty of plump and meaty oysters. I have a weakness for limited-time menu items. But it was the right choice!

I feel like having curry, and I also want to eat meat, so without hesitation, it's "Cocoichi" for me. Last time, I almost broke down because of the large amount of rice, but I ended up doing the same thing again. I'm really not good at controlling myself. Curry and pork go really well together. The sweetness of the pork complements the spiciness of the curry nicely. The plentiful Fukujinzuke also adds a nice crunch. I took my time and managed to finish it all again this time. Next time, I'll definitely try to reduce the amount of rice.

The crispy menchi katsu soaked in curry was delicious. I piled on lots of fukujinzuke on rice and dug in. The balance of curry and rice was just right. However, there was a problem... the portion was so large that I struggled to finish it, but after some time, I managed to clean my plate. The spiciness made me sweat, but I was very satisfied in the end.

I went to the nearest station to my work today, so I went for lunch. I wonder how many years it has been since I last went to CoCo Ichi... I had the pork cutlet curry with half boiled egg and tartar sauce topping. It cost 1,049 yen.

After a long time, I felt like eating CoCo Ichibanya curry again. I've been lacking exercise lately and starting to gain weight, so I went jogging hard this evening. As a result, I wanted to eat a hearty dinner, so I chose the pork cutlet curry. I went for the adventurous level 3 spiciness. The cutlet was crispy with a good texture and delicious. However, the spiciness made my mouth tingle. But I gradually got used to it and managed to finish it. I went around 9 pm today, and the parking lot was full with the restaurant quite crowded. CoCo Ichibanya's curry is really good.

The first bite...hmm, spiciness level 8? Is this it? Not satisfying enough...added some extra spicy spices! A little more satisfying. The taste...still the same, just like homemade curry. I think the black curry I had the other day was much tastier! As mentioned on the website, I think the LEE retort curry I had at home was spicier and tastier. CoCo Ichibanya is more like a family restaurant for regular curry.

The unlimited servings of Fukujinzuke are a nice touch. After trying various toppings, I finally settled on the sausage and spinach curry. It's packed with spinach, which seems healthy. Without any major changes, Coco Ichibanya has introduced a new "sweet sauce." While I don't particularly like sweet flavors, I couldn't resist trying it on my curry. It was delicious! I started to imagine how it would taste even better if I customized my curry to be spicy and added this sweet sauce. So, I decided to go for the spicy option next time.
