The lunch menu is only available on weekdays. I didn't have much time, so I chose the Chicken Biryani set that caught my eye. There was also a Double Curry set available. The Biryani seemed to be pre-made and heated up. The soup was served without much flavor, it wasn't necessary. The Biryani was delicious, made with Basmati rice. It came with two chicken wings which were tender and tasty. They also served a drink called Ice Chai as a service, but it tasted like milk tea, so it wasn't needed. There were a few coin parking lots scattered around the area, but on the Saturday I went, they were mostly full. I barely found a spot to park. Although I was short on time, I should have done a bit more research on food review sites.

I often go to an Indian curry restaurant. The staff members are regularly changed, and this time there were new staff members again. It seems like the recipes are not fixed, as the taste of the same menu can vary depending on who is cooking. This time, the taste was slightly sweeter. It's within my preference range, so I would like to visit again.

Around 9:30 pm at night, my friend and I visited this restaurant. It was my friend's first time trying Indian curry. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a few 4-person tables and counter seats, and since it was a late weekday night, we were the only customers. There was only one staff member, and an Indian movie was playing on the TV, adding to the authentic Indian vibe. My friend and I chatted excitedly while looking at the menu, and the manager watched us with a smile. After much thought, I decided on a curry with cheese and a special red bean paste naan that caught my eye. My friend chose butter chicken curry with regular naan. We also ordered lassi to complete the Indian experience. The curries were served in generous portions, and the naans were large. The butter chicken curry had a dollop of butter on top, and my friend was delighted by the taste. The chicken was bone-in, providing a satisfying meal. My cheese curry was mild and enjoyable, even for someone who doesn't like spicy food like me. But the highlight was the red bean paste naan, which was packed full of sweet red bean paste. It was a bit overwhelming, but I loved it. When paired with the curry, the red bean paste naan stole the show. It was so delicious that I would come back just for that. Overall, the food was great, and I enjoyed the experience. As we were leaving, some Indian customers arrived, and when I waved at them, they waved back with a smile. It was a heartwarming experience, and I would love to visit this restaurant again!

I visited for lunch and ordered rice with two colors of curry. As of now (November 2022), the restaurant is listed as "publication pending" on Tabelog, but it seems like they have resumed lunch service. The meal started with soup! The soup and curry... it's like getting miso soup with a pork miso soup set, right? The one on the right seems to be spinach and ground meat, while the one on the left appears to be chickpeas and vegetables. I was excited by the aroma in the restaurant, but the spices weren't that strong. The curry is milder than the typical medium-spicy curry, more on the gentle side. It gives off more of an impression of not using spices rather than the spices not being strong. Perhaps it's an adaptation for Japanese taste. The best thing about this restaurant is that "the water is huge!" They also served a complimentary lassi, which was a nice touch. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I visited this place again. There was only one staff member today, unlike before when there was one in the kitchen and one in the hall. And it was someone I had never seen before. I was planning to order the "Indian-style salad" that I had seen on the menu before, so I ordered it. The staff member kept coming back to confirm the salad multiple times, which made me a bit uneasy. First, they brought a soup as a "service". It was a bit salty. Then, after a while, the Indian-style salad arrived. We both looked at each other with a puzzled expression. It was completely different from the menu photo! With only one staff member, who also seemed to have difficulty communicating in Japanese, we quietly ate the salad, which tasted only of onions and tomatoes. And there were so many thinly sliced raw carrots! There was no dressing or anything. When we were halfway through, the Indian dinner arrived. Then the staff member came back and poured a dressing onto the salad, saying "sauce". I had forgotten about it. And they poured too much! The dressing seemed like store-bought Thousand Island. I will never order the "Indian-style salad" again.

I visited the restaurant around 12:10 on a weekday. There were no other customers when I arrived, but a man came in after me.
- Keema Baigan (minced meat and eggplant curry) for 870 yen
- When you order Naan curry, you get a choice of Naan or rice. The Naan was oval-shaped and delicious.
- They offered complimentary soup, which was easy to drink and not too spicy.
- The Keema Baigan had plenty of minced chicken and about three pieces of eggplant. It was tasty, but slightly heavy on the stomach due to the spices.

It's a quietly favorite spot for me. The first time I visited, there were Japanese staff, but now it's always a local man trying his best in broken Japanese! The staff in the dining area always has a lovely smile. I always order the same food and drink, so this time I also tried "samosa" in addition to the usual. I've never eaten it locally or been there, but it seems to be made to suit Japanese tastes. Everything is easy for me to eat. Samosa... a triangular fried snack. The menu described it as fried dumplings, but the filling is potatoes and ground meat. It's more like a croquette than a dumpling (although the coating is different). There are two pieces, and it's quite filling. It has a slightly spicy curry flavor, with a sauce in a separate dish that seems to have added black sugar and a hint of acidity. I wonder why it's always empty when I go there?

When I used to live in Kyoto, I went to Raju for a late meal after finishing my part-time job around 2pm. Raju is an Indian restaurant with multiple locations in Kyoto and Shiga (many customers don't realize it's a chain). I remember ordering a slightly more expensive fish curry. In the center of the dish, there was a large fish sitting prominently. The naan wasn't as big as the ones at other Raju locations. It was a delicious meal.

At around 6 pm on a regular day, there was a man who seemed to be almost done eating. He ordered the RAJU dinner set which included soup, salad, seekh kebab, tandoori chicken, lamb chops, papad, 3 types of curry with rice, naan (changed to anko naan for an extra 200 yen), and a choice of chai or mango lassi. The first dish served was a green soup with small diced potatoes and a hint of spice. The naan was mistakenly ordered as anko naan by the partner. The curries were listed as vegetable curry, beef curry, and shrimp curry on the menu, but they tasted more like vegetable, shrimp, and spinach curry, which was delicious. The green spinach curry was the favorite. Even though only one set was ordered, they received soup for two and both chai and mango lassi drinks. The tandoori shrimp was like a spiced shrimp fritter and was delicious. The staff today seemed to have difficulty with Japanese, as they misunderstood the drink order twice. They were also generous with the first glass of white wine but filled the second glass to the brim. Despite not having been to India and not knowing the authentic taste, the food was enjoyable without any discomfort, suggesting that it may be tailored for Japanese taste. Although the food was quite tasty, the restaurant always seems empty when visited, which is a bit concerning.

After quickly finishing up at the yakitori restaurant, we stopped by this place on the way back. It's been a while since I last visited. I've only been a few times, but this place is easy to get into. The food is pretty tasty, and the staff are friendly. They play music videos of local artists on the TV inside the restaurant, which is entertaining. While I was in the restroom, my partner ordered without me. It's our second stop, so I can't eat much, but it's fine. By the way, even the restroom smells like spices (laughs). Indian dinner...two types of curry, a dish that looks like meatballs, tandoori chicken, lentil crackers, salad, and yogurt as a set. I asked to change the naan to one with red bean paste. Even though I've never eaten this in India, I think it's made to suit Japanese tastes. The staff, despite speaking broken Japanese, are very polite and diligent. Maybe because they're not very good at Japanese, after delivering the food, they quietly disappear into the back (out of view from the dining area). So, we are left alone to eat, which is nice for me to eat slowly. Ordering the set menu is more cost-effective than ordering individual items.

It was disappointing that the menu changed and the number of items decreased after the closure, but the taste remained delicious.

For some reason, it says "posting pending" but the restaurant is open as usual. I ordered a great value set. The portion was generous and they served chai as a complimentary service. The staff only understands a little Japanese, so be aware of that.

A chain of Indian restaurants in Kyoto. Nothing particularly stands out. A typical restaurant.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, and I finally went. I always end up eating the food before taking pictures, so I leave my phone on the table and wait. I ordered the A lunch set. The Tandoori chicken and salad plate arrived first. I couldn't resist trying the chicken right away, so I forgot to take a picture. When the curry arrived, I dug into the naan bread. I guess I get too eager to eat when food is served in front of me. I probably won't be able to take pictures of the dishes I eat at the restaurant in the future. There are plenty of good pictures posted by others, so please take a look at those. As for the taste, the Tandoori chicken was delicious. I made a mistake by saying I wanted the curry to be of normal spiciness; it wasn't spicy at all, which was a bit disappointing. You can choose spiciness levels from 1 to 5, so maybe a level 3 would have been better. Level 3 is said to be at the level of spiciness for Indians. The lunch set at 1050 yen might be a bit pricey, but it's quite filling. I think it's worth it. I would like to go back again.

Every time I passed by this restaurant, I could smell something delicious and it had caught my attention. I wish I had come here sooner because everything is so tasty! The portions are generous, the naan bread is American-sized, the mango lassi is delicious, and the owner is friendly. Most importantly, it's very reasonably priced. I'm not a fan of spicy food, but the dishes here are just right with a hint of sweetness and a nice level of spice. I ordered the lamb chop curry as part of a dinner set, and also got a side of rice which was perfectly fluffy and tasty.

It's a nearby place but my first visit here! Even though it was my first time, they served me chai as a service! The music playing inside the restaurant sounded like Indian songs, creating a nice atmosphere. I tried the recommended dish, shrimp palak, which is a curry with shrimp and spinach. It's different from Japanese curry, but delicious! They seem to have a variety of menu items, so I might come back to try something else!

So, I went to the second lunch spot (lol) which is quite close to my house but I haven't visited in a few years. The food is delicious and the smiles of the local staff are lovely, yet for some reason this place is always quite empty. I ordered the Tandoori set for 1260 yen. It's not a place that forces you to order one dish per person! And the portion is quite generous. The set includes beer, yellow rice, chicken, minced meat and potato curry, and naan (can be changed to anko naan for an additional 250 yen). The chicken had bones but was so tender that the meat easily fell off the bones! The curry initially tastes sweet but then gradually becomes spicy. And to top it off, they offered chai as a service after the meal (even though I only ordered for one person, they gave enough for everyone! So grateful). I have been here a few times, and most of the time the staff are lovely young men with great smiles! I will definitely visit again.

The naan bread is big and satisfying when it's hot. It fills you up quickly. The curry allows you to choose the level of spiciness, which is nice. The curry has a decent taste. The tandoori chicken is tender and delicious. The mango drink is also quite tasty.

I decided to go to Sushiro, but as I was passing by, I got curious and decided to go in. The exterior looked a bit questionable, but the inside was clean. It seemed like the staff were Indian, and they had lovely smiles. I had both the A lunch set and the B lunch set. During my meal, about 5 or 6 people who seemed to be Indian came in and disappeared into the kitchen. Maybe they have a lot of employees. The salad and meat arrived quickly, but the curry and naan took forever to come out. I wanted to take a photo together, but I was satisfied because I wanted to eat the naan. The prices were not too high. The two curries were a green vegetable curry and a keema curry, and I preferred the vegetable curry.
